i've never been very good at writing these things, and it's been a while to boot, but i am nocturne — a night owl through and through. I've been in the roleplaying scene for about 15+ years now, on and off, and I've spent the last 7 of them at BD. The stories I most enjoy writing are romance-oriented erotica (because honestly, I'm a sucker for a good romance). angst | sensuality | humor | dark/violent themes | slice of life. give it to me and all the works. I take great delight in exploring all these things in both my plots and characters, whether light or dark, I believe there is a time and place for everything, though, i probably enjoy the emotional duress of my characters way more than i probably should.
but to quickly end this, i'll finish with a few notes about myself:
× i'm 29 & female.
× i'm generally pretty picky when it comes to writing partners. Chemistry is key.
× i prefer 3rd person, usually past tense when it comes to writing.
× i encourage ooc chatter - especially for plotting or casual chatter (also a fan of making pinterest boards and sharing music)
× multi-paragraph, though I will always prefer quality over quantity. i don't need the moon and stars, just enough that adds substance to the scene.
× smut ratio? I don't really like to label this type of thing because I like it to happen organically and every character is different but at a minimum 40:60 i'd say.
× face claims? only real people, no anime. it's just easier for me visually.

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!
