I have many different characters, of all varieties; I could not possibly put them all, but I will put all the ones that have a DND equivalent background. There entire personality and existence has lived out a campaign already, so I know them well enough to comfortably play them in any setting [even modern, though I'll have to feel that out a bit first]. Most of all my OC's are some form of DND Race [Link to DNDBeyond] but I do have a few self-made ones that don't really play around in the same park as the races made for the tabletop game.


I enjoy many world building styles;

  • Fantasy
    • High Fantasy : DND, I have two worlds of my own (Lhun, and Kandon), and love to delve into other writers own creations.
    • Urban Fantasy : Realistic settings, with some magic flavor? Yes please! Mythical creatures are a plus!
    • Historical Fantasy : Medieval lands, and people with a touch of the arcana.
    • Dark Fantasy : There is always a wicked witch that wants to destroy somethin'. I am comfortable in darker themes.
    • Cyberpunk/Steampunk : Self-explanatory. I do have some robots that would easily fit into either setting. Be them steam-powered (by magic!), or them a true cybernetic anomaly come to life.

With a pillow in hand the man went one by one, from Cassius' sisters room, to his brothers room, to his parents room. As the oldest Cassius was not in a normal room; his desire for the skyline and the stars had pushed him to beg for the attic. After weeks of begging his parents finally conceded. That is where young Cassius lay, sixteen, and none-the-wiser for the horrors that lay downstairs.

Cassius has been investigating crime, and tailing criminals from the tender age of sixteen. Every skill he has is learned from his betters, his elders, and from the cold dank streets that he wandered through in seek of knowledge. There was something to be said about a life built off loss and trauma. His history, his home has been gone to him for some time, memories trapped behind walls that kept him on his feet. The only time Cassius allowed himself to think about the house he once lived in was when he'd meet a new evil, a new monster. A dark, imposing wondering....--is this him? Is this the man with the flintlock pistol?

Is the man who took his family, even alive?

Caelan had decided that life as a wood elf among his cushiony life was not all it was cut out to be at the young age of 22; the trees and shrubbery, the spiders and wild life. There was no true excitement. There was no challenge. So the nearest human town became a place of interest for him, and within days of his time there, he became a member of a less than savory band of Criminals.

Caelan's crew became well-known by appearance, with no name, the marketplace and vendors that experienced the brunt of their attentions often found their coin purses, and stocks lighter than they should be. But all good times at the expense of others must come to an end; a fateful day on a moonlit stormy night Caelan lit the crews lantern, strapped it to his waist and within the hour he was the only member standing while the docks swallowed his brothers and sisters up, and the towns guard cheered.

The actions of him and his company only became clear to him that night, and it was on that day that the wood elf thief decided to stab the right people, for the right reasons, and not for the selfish ones that had drove him and his company into the canals.

Caelan Woodsmoke put his past self to bed; Becoming Caelan Welder, and letting it lay in the waters deep, as he kept the lantern strapped to his waist, a reminder, and a threat that even the brightest flames can be snuffed out. The catalyst to his losses in life, pushing him to hone his blade with intention, with purpose. To not let anger and hypocrisy rule his decisions, to not /let/ pettiness win.

He is older now, wiser. Well into his two-hundreds and used to the roads and streets that lead from town to town, working alongside the Thieves Guild, and taking on contracts that serve him and his Deity 'The Raven Queen."

There is only the future for him, ruminating on the past was best left to his beaten up artifact that he still held onto, it held the memories and secrets for him, so that he may work towards a place in life where a death had meaning, and those that attempted to cheat it's grasp would meet it swiftly at the tip of his blade.

Caelan Welder would help all that help him, and those that sought to wrong him would find out his intentions.
