Greetings, fellow Sanctum resident !
Thank you for taking interest in yet another, random request by me. I do have the tendency to come up with ideas during boring work days, or revisiting old ideas that were never written out because I never found a writing partner for them. This specific pairing has been a lifelong desire of mine to write, which has never been successful and I'm hoping to change that.
First things first, this story is an enemies to lovers type of plot between Kuchiki Byakuya and Zaraki Kenpachi from T. Kubo's Bleach. I'm looking for someone to write Kenpachi against my ( admittedly rusty ) Byakuya. I've read the manga twice and also watched the majority of the anime, save for the Thousand Year Blood War Arc of the anime. Personally, I don't care if you've read the manga or not. I just want you to be comfortable with writing within the fandom and as Kenpachi.
I do have a vague plot idea that can be used, but since it contains erotic content early on, that isn't mandatory. We can craft a new, more slow burn type of plot together !
Kenpachi has been following Byakuya around the Seireitei, howling insults at him for being a " wuss ", who doesn't want to fight him. Byakuya ignores him for the longest time and until he grows frustrated. He draws his sword, but he knows two Captains with their own Reiatsu fighting in the middle of the Seireitei would cause alot of damages and earn them a firm scolding from the Head Captain. Thus, Byakuya challenges Kenpachi to a Sake drinking contest, which Kenpachi begrudgingly accepts. They head to the Kuchiki Estate, where they drink. One thing leads to another and they're suddenly butting heads over who would top the other. Byakuya quickly realises that he has no chance at topping the Kenpachi and Kenpachi himself is all too willing to prove his point.
From that point onward we can build something more romantic, a no-strings-attached romance, a one-sided romance, etc. The plot is vague enough to leave us with options.
My requirements for a writing partner are fairly simple as well :
- Writer's gender is irrelevant to me, as long as you can write a dominant male character. Aka Kenpachi.
- You must be familiar with the fandom, but I was planning for this story to take place either prior to the animanga, or during the first arc. Alternatives can be discussed.
- Not looking for a modern or otherwise canon-divergent AU at the moment. I want to follow the majority of the canon plotline and only diverge with the characters' relationship.
- I'm a fairly slow poster, so you don't have to post quickly either. I try to respond once a week, but I don't mind waiting longer for you.
- Replies must be at least 250+ words.
- Third person, past tense only.
- I format mildly, with Times New Roman, justify alignment and some bold or italics. You don't have to match this style. Reply however you want !
- I do prefer smut written out and not fading to black, but if we can keep the plot going and the dynamic is good, I'm willing to fade to black. It's just not my first option because I feel like plot-based smut adds to a story, when written well.
- Limits, both story-wise and smut-wise, will be discussed in private. I generally draw the line at Taboo content, but I'm perfectly fine with darker themes, such as language, violence, blood, gore, death, etc.
- β’ Omegaverse option available, if wanted, but I'm not sure if I'm entirely game for it in this, specific storyline.
As mentioned, aside from the story offered above, we can craft our own if that's preferrable. But this is the one I have in mind as of now. I hope I haven't forgotten any crucial information, but ask me via PM's if you have any specific questions and I'll be happy to answer them !
