Any A Call to Adventure [Original & Fandom Search]

Hello everyone, I'm looking for some new RP adventures, and therefore need a fellow adventurer to go on this journey with me!

About Me:

• 28M from Canada.
• I work part-time as a substitute teacher, while working towards my Masters of Education at the same time.
• Currently dealing with some sort of unknown chronic condition/illness (some days are better than others).
• Given the previous points, I cannot guarantee posts in any particular time-frame. However, I will ensure to reach out to you if I am certain I will be unable to post within a week.
• While I do have multiple years of RP experience, I have not RP'd since before the pandemic, so I'm likely to be a bit rusty.
• I will write any gender/orientation combo, it does not matter to me. (However: I do not guarantee romance in any RP I do. I will only write romance IF the characters have chemistry/click.)
• I am not interested in heavy smut RPs. Some smut is fine, but I'm not interested in that being a major focus.
• I will write fandoms (listed below), but I will only write OCs within fandoms (and I would prefer if my partner does as well).
• I'm more interested in post content than post length. I would rather read/write a well-paced 300 word post, than the same thing drawn out to over 1k. Conversely I would prefer posts not be short-changed if they should be longer. The flow of the story is the most important thing to me.
• I value transparency. If you are unhappy with the way in which our RP is going, or would like to drop it please let me know. Likewise I will be transparent with you. Maybe the issue can be remediated, or maybe we just don't mesh together as RPers. It's nothing personal!

If all of that hasn't driven you away, here's some of the things I'm interested in writing!

Original Settings/Genres:

(If you're interested in an original setting, I would prefer that we brainstorm ideas together! I love world creation, especially when it's with another person, so I'd love to craft an original world.)​

Original Setting Tropes:

(These are some tropes that I tend to enjoy having in my RPs. While these are by no means mandatory, I am always willing to incorporate them!)​

• War (dramas).
• Crime/Criminal Organisations.
• Reincarnation.
• Non-human species (playable or not).
• Exploration (new worlds/lands/etc).
• Meddling Gods/Higher Powers.
• Mythical creatures (either as allies/backdrops, or as being actively hunted by us).
• Grimdark.
• (Conversely) light-hearted silliness in the world building.

Fandoms:

(As mentioned above I am not interested in writing canon characters, and while I will not stop you from writing them, I would greatly prefer if we both played OCs.)​
