Seeking to insert Sansa Stark into the Dance of Dragons in the hopes of a slightly more favorable outcome for either side.
Info About Me:
Hello there! If you're reading this, please make sure to drink some water and I hope you're having a lovely day/night. I'm Mari and I've been roleplaying for over a decade and constantly looking to improve. I adore high fantasy, romance and adventure- and I'm not opposed to heavier topics being thrown in there.
I average out roughly 3+ paragraphs per response, with some variations depending on if it's a starter message and what's going on plot wise. I still favor quality over quantity and I expect the same out of my partner. I do have quite a full work schedule but I can typically respond once a day (minimum) and I am fairly active on my days of (2-3 days a week leaning weekends). I always communicate extended breaks/vacations.
I have a high tolerance for gore and violence. I lean towards stories less focused on the sexual content but I am not uncomfortable writing it. I'm willing to discuss more in detail but I strongly dislike non-consensual content and unsanitary kinks. Besides that, I'm pretty open but my kinks lean on the milder side.
Ideas:
I have an idea to create a story set in the world of GoT/HoTD. Essentially, I want to insert Sansa Stark into the timeline of the Dance or perhaps create a world where characters from the Dance exist within her timeline. Below I have some ideas conjured up and with that some pairings I'd be open to. I am also open minded to original characters, but at this time I prefer male identifying ones.
1. Arranged marriage: Fairly basic but accurate to the time period. I envision Sansa to maintain her status as the eldest daughter but serve as Cregan Stark's younger sister. Prior to the actual Dance, Team Black and Green respectively seek to make their alliances stronger. Whether it's Rhaenyra looking to find a solid ally to back her claim to the Iron Throne or Otto wanting a grand sweep when he usurps Rhaenyra is open. A letter is penned to the Starks requesting that Sansa be married to one of the Targaryen princes. How closely we stick to canon story depends entirely on character, what we want who we want to win.
2. Dreamers: Sansa exists within her own world with Cersei and Jon Snow and the like. However, after the Battle of the Bastards, she finds herself having consistent dreams of the dance. Dreams that feel far too vivid to be born of reading scrolls and listening to bedtime stories. All the dreams focus on one Targaryen prince and almost feel like a warning- like she's meant to prevent something. She sees death and devastation, and when it comes time to see the prince in her dreams die, everything resets. A day comes along where Sansa is frustrated at the lack of knowing and in these dreams she actively attempts to find her answers only to discover the prince has them too, and they come to communicate with one another through dreams. Both see calamity and they have to find a way to fix it all.
Essentially, Sansa and y/c would communicate through dreams until there's a way to "cross" timelines. A bit far-fetched but feels fun although it is quite complicated.
3. The Tourney: I am taking some leaps and bounds with Sansa's character here, sort of combining her character with Arya's. Set during the time of the Dance as well, but Viserys actually manages to maintain peace. He throws a large celebration for one of his grandson's or son's birthdays and hosts a tourney. The winner is set to earn a large reward and a place of honor. Y/c is entered (whether just as a competitor or the birthday boy wants a turn) where he fights against quite a worthy though mysterious opponent. No one knows who they are or what house they belong to. At the end, the mysterious knight disappears upon their victory (or close to victory) and y/c follows. Y/c finds (unknown to mine) that their mysterious opponent was Sansa Stark.
I am also open to the idea of Sansa merely attending the tourney as an onlooker and our characters stumbling into one another. Perhaps with Sansa being crowned as a Queen of Love and Beauty.
-I understand this is not in line with Sansa's character at ALL. But I love some artistic liberties. We can still incorporate aspects of the Dance.
Let me know if you've got other ideas, or want to combine elements from different ones I've listed here!
Characters:
I'm open to original characters but below are some of the characters I'd be open to!
1. Jacaerys Velaryon
2. Aemond Targaryen
3. Aegon Targaryen (whether that's Alicent's son or your own interpretation)
Thank you for reading this and I hope to create a story with someone here very soon!
