Who are you, how long have you been writing and what kind of things do you like to write?
Heya, I am De! I am 19, and have been writing off and on for over 9 years at the least. As I've been developing my own world, story and species since I've been 5 when I first came up with an idea I'm still fledging out today. When it comes to my favorite settings to write, I have a very soft spot for nature, as I adore writing about scenery and getting into the nitty gritty details of life. Although this isn't to say that I don't like anything else, as one of my favorite genres to write is science fiction (specially the Cyberpunk subgenre). Curating ideas around the often alien civilization that often surrounds the world of a cyberpunk society creates a sort of feeling for me no other genre can acquire. Although it is for the complete opposite reason of the soft spot I have got for nature.
How long do your replies tend to be and what is your writing schedule like?
I try to make my replies at least two paragraphs, likely around 200-400 words. Although, I am not at all picky with it. Shorter repliers don't bother me at all, as it let's me go in and fill in the gaps. And I don't mind longer repliers as it gives me to bounce off of. Either way I'm happy! I do however, work a full time job, and go to school. So my replies will be more spaced out than others.
What is your tolerance level for gore? Violence?
I will first say that I do not favor writing violence or gore, although that isn't to say I won't. This is in due part of having an ad normally high amount of tolerance for gore and violence. I work as a butcher, and therefore I deal with gore, blood and other viscera on a daily.
Do you write sexual content? If so, what are your kinks? Limits?
I do not mind writing smut. Personally, I am a very vanilla person. I'm not out right down for anything, but I am also fine with anything. I just ask that you communicate with me OOC about what kinks/fetishes you wish to continue with. I have no hard stops yet, seeing as I am still quite fresh within the world of roleplaying (only ever doing so with close friends, and the occasional person that would disappear soon after starting something) but will communicate them as we go along.
Do you have any pairing or setting ideas?
I do wish to explore a new character I've been curating. The story would take place within a general medieval fantasy world (open to any preferences), with heavy wooded areas and large valleys. Magic would be abundant with nature and more rare within humans, with certain species they would have more of a magical affinity. Her name is Re'thala (Ray-/θ/Allah), she is a Orc-Elvish vampire, due to her unique bloodline however, she drains magic (mana, etc), instead of blood. She is 28 years. Her "brother", Yorick, has always been her guide, even after death, and has been her eyes because since she was born, she has not been able to see the world around her. Due to Re'thala and her brothers bloodline, she is an outcast of every kingdom. Never having a proper home, she has taken up a role as a mercenary, despite her inability to see, she does manage to make enough coin where she can survive off it.
Do you have any detailed plots prepared?
I do not have anything other than very generalized plots, although if you have any ideas or want to explore one further, please let me know!
YC (your character) hires Re'thala for protection, across a Fae Forest, to protect an important item, or to protect an important person.
YC and Re'thala are banded together through a mutual cause, likely money. They can be on the same or opposite sides, but are still found to be together through external forces.
Re'thala is hunting YC for a third party. Whether that is to kill YC, or retrieve YC for the third party is up to you.
