Hello everyone, I'm back with plot ideas because I need to wring some creativity out of my body.
The plot here is just spin-off of the Shades of Magic trilogy. No knowledge required of the series cause we're barely following it, I just like the setting:
Magic is not inherently good or evil. It represents power, and the way people use the power shapes how the power uses them. Balance is key in a world where magic reigns supreme. History shows what happens when greed and selfishness overpower the weak will of men. Long ago, worlds were interconnected, people free to travel between. However, after the incident which resulted in Black London, the worlds were sealed, split apart to ensure the safety of each individual world. Each of the different worlds now has a distinct relationship with magic: In Black London, magic took over and destroyed the world. In White London, the desire for magic and power has turned the world cruel and bleak. Red London stands perfectly in balance, many of its citizens can use magic, yet it does not overpower them. And in Grey London, the magic has been forgotten. The worlds can be compared to a fire, with Black London at the center of the destruction. The citizens now speak of the worlds connected as a collectively remembered dream.
The Antari are different. The Antari are those that remain that can bend the magic of the world to their will. The blood in their veins runs heavy with power and they are revered as such. Travelers, as some call them, still move between worlds, each London bringing its own experiences. Pain, loss, hope, love, though the worlds are apart, the Antari know each world is but a tip of the hat one way or the other from its own destruction. They are a rare breed. A dying breed. Shackled through contract, duty, or...more nefarious means, what Antari remain have remained in the servitude of a specific kingdom. Of course...there are only two left, or rather, two that are accounted for. One in Red London and one in White. Grey London's Antari is gone, forgotten at best and dead at worst. If there are more in the wide worlds, they are not recorded. Not many dare to venture that far from the kingdoms into spiraling and uncontrolled magic. Not many have the power to withstand it.
Anyway the intent here is that one plays an Antari from Red London and the other from White. Red London is more fun so feel free to be the more fun one, I don't mind being miserable. This is a very barebones description of what the book is actually about, but don't worry we won't be following the book whatsoever, that would be ridiculous. High fantasy characters collide with a low fantasy universe, so if it seems interesting let me know if you'd like more information.
What to expect in my RPs:
♪ I am a heavy writer, I will be typing in full paragraphs with thorough description.
♪ I do my best to reply at least once every couple days, life permitting.
♪ A decent idea of where the plot will start. Planning never hurt anyone.
♪ I tend to play males, simply what I am more familiar with. I have no preference in partner. Either sex or any gender you play, however, I don't do smut. I'm not horny.
♪ I am a stickler for quality, I wont lie to any of you. I have a standard and I stick to it. I will tell you no if I don't feel we would be compatible.
What I prefer in a partner:
♪ Equal responses, or close to it. I can't and won't respond to a one-liner, ever.
♪ Good internal and external character development. I want to believe you care about and feel the life you put in your character.
♪ Semi-frequent replies. I don't expect constant contact, because that's insane.
♪ Just make sure you spell-check. It makes life easier for everyone.
Now that that's finished, shoot me a DM if you're interested and we'll go from there.
