A Good Writer Can Think of a Good Thread Title, Like This One

Hi. You can call me Johann, which was conveniently not taken and that means I didn't have to add any numbers to it, so that's good. I'm a 27 y.o. guy and I've been writing since I was a teenager.

I found this place by googling ''RP forum'' and sifting through the results. This one looked active and diverse, so, here I am.

I've been doing RP on and off for 10 years. I write original content on my own too, including poetry, short stories, and one novel, but I haven't done much writing in the last year. Right now I'm just looking for a creative outlet, to write just for the sake of enjoyment, so I went back to where I used to do RP but found it wasn't very active anymore. And that's why I'm here.

I'm into realistic fiction and low fantasy and genres including post-apocalyptic, crime, western, and sci-fi, but I'm open to most themes. I've been browsing the forums and there's quite a lot here so I'm not really sure where to start. If anyone is looking for a participant in a new RP, I'd like to hear what they have in mind. I have the time to make contributions once per day at least, and I will gladly commit to a good story.

A western roleplay sounds like a lot of fun. Personally, I never did one. But it is on my list of topics to try. Old-western is more what I am into. How about you?

Also, how do you feel about supernatural topics? More along the lines of vampires and such?

For me, the overall feel of a story is more important than the genre, so I'm open to most settings. I like to explore themes of romance between broken and desperate people, how people who do bad things live with themselves, people who rebel against the ideals of their families and society, and much more.

I've never done a vampire RP or any kind of writing before but I think I'd be willing to give it a try. Though to be honest I haven't read or watched a whole lot of vampire fiction except for the really famous ones.
