I have a variety of story ideas I would like to use. I typically roleplay MxF/get stuck with MxF, so I wanted to make a specific MxM request thread. This thread is sort of speedy and concise, so expect super general explanations.
We can discuss plot in my inbox because I have had a lot of ideas, and I have rewritten them many times; I use other roleplay sites, too.
I will describe the gist of what I like to do, though:
Gothic Horror: Anything from 1750 to 1920-- I love a good tale about the reanimated dead, witchcraft, ghosts, vampires, monsters, mad scientists, and jack-the-ripper-type murderers.
Fantasy: Medieval fantasy like dungeons and dragons. I love a good journey across realms or a spell gone wrong. Meet my character in a tavern, an elven forest, a haunted swamp, a city's alleys, or a castle.
Lovecraftian Horror: Under the same category as Gothic horror but this is typically where mad science, occult, and cosmic entities thrive for me.
General themes:
I tend to stick with dark themes regardless of genre.
My characters:
My characters tend to fit certain tropes that I enjoy playing the most. I usually play intellectually inclined characters with poor social skills-- yes, very cliche, but all of them are unique in their own ways. I'm giving a very general description here because I want to keep the character sheets and the plots to my inbox. Anyway, I play intellectual characters who use their mind rather than brawn. They are skilled in their fields, but they're highly flawed in their unique ways. Some struggle with terrible phobias, some are mean and arrogant, some are innocent and awkward, some are just cold and distant. I tend to play wizards, scientists, warlocks, students, researchers, and sages. Again, general description. I know it sounds boring so far, but we'll get there. They'll always have arrogant bottom energy though, so have fun with that.
Smut:
This request thread is sort of mainly for erotic role plays. I actually don't usually seek out erotic role plays, but I decided to try it. I like actual plot carrying the story rather than simply a romance, and I like for the romance or sexual relationship to build over time. I'm okay, however, with romantic and sexual tension starting outright. Not a lot in smut is off limits for me other than the obvious. We can talk about that. I'm gonna say straight up though: I'm usually gonna be the sub/bottom. BDSM is dope as shit. I don't have a lot of boundaries there as long as it is consensual. Throw my character off a bridge he'll probably be fine with it.
Smut that I do not like:
-Romanticizing abuse. I like power play a lot, but I refuse to romanticize anything like human trafficking or rape. Do not expect me to do that, thanks. Corrupting innocence? Hot. Power play between a mad scientist and his/her nervous assistant? Hot. Bondage, pain? Hot. Sex trafficking, rape, abuse? Problematic. Everything is a lot more fun when both characters are enjoying it and we aren't perpetuating the romanticism of serious issues < 3 : )
- Fetishizing trans people. Deadass, no. It's fine to have a trans character, duh, but I can tell when you're a chaser
-Furry. I don't have anything against furries, but I just can't get into that.
-Shit, scat
