Good citizens of the Sanctum, I offer my humblest greetings!
The name is Renato, but you can call me Sinclair, Ren, Sin...whatever strikes your fancy, really. I'm not too fussed. I might be new here but I am not new to Roleplaying or writing original fiction, in any case. I am a member of Fanfiction.net, Archive of Our Own (when I find my password for this), Rp Nation (which is currently going through an overhaul) and the long dead Quizilla.
Now...me as an RPer? Here is how I roll.
I consider myself fairly detailed and literate and am most comfortable with partners who can give me one or more paragraphs (in paragraph structure). I will give my partner two paragraphs and up, but that usually depends on what I have to work with. Obviously, if the other simply pushes out one-liners or a couple of sentences in which half of them is restating what I had in my previous post, don't expect me to willingly keep plowing the plot on my own and sow the seeds.
Which brings me to the next point. One + one roleplay is all about collaboration. If there is no bouncing of ideas off each other, I might as well stick to writing a novel by myself. I will drop yes-men faster than a hot potato.
Fantasy, historical or a mixture of both is my thing. I am a complete fan of historical fantasy, so anything lying that way, you bet I'll snap it up real quick. I also like well-developed characters and world-building. I don't have much I shy away from, but here are a couple: rape and torture. I can handle allusions to it, just not in explicit detail. I also will not RP anthros not because I have anything against them, but bad experiences and all...I'm sure I'm not the only one who had those...
Ok...anything else...
Oh yes, I can play either gender, but sometimes I do have a craving to play the female in a certain plot. But now don't you go booing. My males can be damn sexy bastards despite me being female. (maybe it's because of me being female...?)
And on the topic of characters and such, I can play multiple characters, meaning the main plus whatever sides necessary, and I expect my partner to do the same. I can't carry the entire world on my shoulder - figuratively speaking - while the other just plays the one.
As for frequency of replies and such, I am working and going to uni to finish my degree, so there are times I can be on for a few hours straight and there are times I will be gone for a week. If it takes me more than two weeks to reply, I will notify you. I wouldn't pester you for replies either but if you are gone without notice for a month, I will consider the RP dead.
Well, that's it from me, the demanding and long-winded person that I am. If you survived this long, congratulations. If you skipped out after the first sentence, I don't blame you. I would too if I were you.
