Hello, Sanctum! I'm Firewhiskey, a woman in her thirties who has been writing for over fifteen years. Welcome to my completely re-vamped search thread! The long-and-short of it is: I'm seeking roleplays that reignite my love for writing. Let's plot together, let's come up with twists and turns and NPCs and flesh out a world all our own, let's have fun with writing again!

Before we jump into it, here's a few important things to know...

• No AI usage whatsoever. I find it tasteless, ignorant, and lazy to use, especially within the arts. If you use AI in any "creative" capacity, please do not contact me.
• My replies are inconsistent and usually slow. I aim for about once per week, but this doesn't always happen. I ask for patient partners; please do not poke me unless it's been more than a week since you've heard from me, both IC and OOC.
• I don't really follow post length requirements; if your post is legible and does something to move the scene along (mine always will) I'm happy!
• I play male or female with no preference between the two. The only time I "double" is in the case of Canon x OC pairings.
• Please come ready to plot with me! I don't want to do all the work; most of the fun of RP for me is coming up with things with my partner!

LIMITS
Here are some things I don't want to involve in stories. If it isn't listed here, I'll probably give it a shot!

• entirely smut-based premises with no room for a good story
• non-consensual, rape, violence, abuse
• bestiality, animal abuse
• self-inserts, first person, characters as "you" or "me" rather than "MC/YC", "he/she", etc.
• cheating, adultery
• characters under the age of eighteen

Not so bad, right? Now, let's get to the fun stuff: what I want to write!

FANDOMS
I prefer Canon x Canon or OC x OC, but I will write Canon x OC as long as we double up within the same plot. I don't enjoy doubling with two separate threads, as I find that one usually gets ignored. I may know of more than what's listed here, so feel free to ask!

• Harry Potter (Marauders', Trio, Legacy, Founders, or next-gen; no Cursed Child; if at Hogwarts, it will be that students start at 18, no one underage)
• Hunger Games (I have only read the original trilogy; if tributes, the rules will be altered to make everyone over 18)
• Pokemon (regions 1-3 in main series; Ranger, Mystery Dungeon, Snap; adult trainers only)
• Star Wars (sequel trilogy or The Old Republic)
• Baldur's Gate III
• The Witcher
• Mario
• The Breakfast Club (post-high school plots only)
• Titanic

ORIGINALS
My bread and butter! I'll do pretty much anything under this umbrella. If it's listed here, I probably have at least a basic idea for it. If you have a craving, suggest it; I love trying new things.

• realistic historical settings (particularly Victorian, WWII, western, or Revolutionary/Civil War; very open to learning about other eras and settings)
• anything involving religious cults
• horror, demonic possession, exorcisms, hauntings, urban legends
• monsters, non-human characters
• arranged marriage between species that hate one another
• uniting with an enemy to stop the world from ending
• medieval fantasy (either grand quest or more slice-of-life)
• apocalypse, where a toxin is slowly turning humans insane and violent, but it's not easy to tell at first
• pirates, mermaids, nobility, stowaways, sea monsters
• adult versions of fairy tales
• anything MMF where the males aren't terrified of touching one another
• something where I can play a vampire character based on Elizabeth Bathory
• a pseudo-incest story between a reclusive owner of a mansion on a moor and the 'daughter' who shows up on his doorstep
