Hello, and welcome. Thank you for taking the time to read my request thread! My name is Kai, I've been writing for around sixteen years starting on Quotev when I was 10. So, yes, I am a Quotev refugee. I am currently on the hunt for a partner or two to indulge in passionate and character-driven MxF stories with a heavy dallop of romance and angst. While I typically lean towards modern settings I do have some historical and sci-fi ideas that I'd also like to breathe into life. From cozy slice of life stories to chilly supernatural horrors and dark delights laced with romance. I have lots of interests and I hope that it ignites you with your own ideas to bring to the table.

What To Expect From Me:
- First and foremost, slow replies. I work full-time, I have an active married and social life, and I play a very active role in raising my niece. This is a hobby I use to escape, so I would prefer if it didn't become a chore. You can expect replies twice, maybe thrice, weekly. (Completely ghost-friendly, no hard feelings.)
- Friendly OOC chatter and possibly memes, maybe a friendship if you please. I get excited easily (and might tinkle) but I promise I am pretty chill and down to Earth, don't feel like you have to force yourself to talk to me OOC if you don't wanna.
- Creative escapism in the form of detailed posts in third person ranging anywhere between four to seven paragraphs. I'm a big mirror gal, so I often just bounce off of what is given to me. I do, however, heavily prefer detailed, quality posts over ginormous blocks of flowery nothing burger.
I am fully comfortable with writing out sex scenes, and generally prefer to do so. With that being said, I heavily prefer there be a build-up unless I specifically state I'd like the story to be heavy in smut. In terms of roles, I tend to enjoy playing submissive women against dominant men. I will happily go over my kinks and interests via PMs, you will find limits below.

Below, you will find a hodge-podge list of ideas that I'd like to flesh out. They are not in any particular order, but they will be spoilered and expanded upon further inside in order to keep a cleaner look. I will not be sectioning out settings, but I will ensure to write it out in the title in order to make it easier. These are fully at random and open for discussion. Please do not be afraid to come to me with ideas of your own or mix some of my own. There is a very small list of fandoms and love interests I am looking to write as well at the bottom, I am only interested in OC/Canon pairings and will only double-up unless you are interested in playing just the canon character. Muse A is an interior designer doing her best to get her name out in the world, so when she lands a gig in a small town to help redesign a failing inn to garner more tourist revenue that is providing their own crew, so she happily accepts. Once there, she meets Muse B, who's a local ranch owner and has been hired with his boys (Family? Cousins? Sons? Nobody knows.) to help Muse A restore the inn. Unsettlingly charming with southern hospitality, and obviously dangerous, she cannot help the attraction she feels towards him. Especially when he looks at her like he wants to devour her.

- Excited to flesh this one out, I have recently rewatched Sinners and it's ignited a love for southern gothic settings in me.
- Heavy on the predator & prey dynamic, would love to entangle fear and attraction into this. She's only supposed to stay a few months but she's not sure if she'll make it out alive, and doesn't know if she's feeling afraid or aroused.

It is on the opposite side of the galaxy, and in general, a suicide mission. She and the other four military-trained scientists on the ship will not come back to Earth, but will send their findings back. When she awakes, Muse A finds her crew dead, the fuel tank of her ship ripped out, and her long-range comms damaged. She is nowhere near her destination, and with no other option opts to sending out a short-range distress signal. Muse B responds. He takes her onto his ship, offering to help with the repairing of her ship. Muse B looks just as human as she is, but there's something unsettling under the surface that makes it apparent that he is not. Her mind cannot make heads or tails of his ever changing halls, and she's slowly drawing to madness as she finds herself in his arms again and again.

- Would love to see how you flesh out Muse B yourself! Muse B is definitely not human, but is presenting as human to not startle Muse A. What is he really like? Why does he want her? Why does he seem familiar? Ugh, I wanna do this one so bad!
- This one is definitely more leaning towards dark romance. While Muse B has offered to help Muse A fix her ship, things keep going missing making it impossible to leave at all. I'd also love to add in the idea of Muse A finding evidence of her crew mates being on Muse B's ship to add more to the mystery and horror!

Selling drugs, robbing stores, anything to get by in their poverty ridden town. At the fresh age of nineteen, Muse A is framed by the very people he called his family for the death of a local gas station employee and robbery. With nobody on his side, and false evidence piling up; Muse A is sentenced to prison. Years later, after his case is picked up, with a miracle Muse A is released from prison after being falsely accused. With what little money he had and a small jacket on his back, Muse A buys a bus ticket and heads to anywhere. He lands in some small town, in the dead of night while the first snow of the season pillows the streets in white powdery stillness. The only thing open is a diner, so he makes his way inside. Muse B has lived in this small town her entire life, sure that was going to die working at this diner. When Muse A blows in, only asking for a cup of coffee, she can see that he's brand new to town. After closing up and heading him, she finds Muse A on a park bench and realizes he hasn't got anywhere to go. Against her better judgement, hating to see someone out on the streets in the cold, she offers him her couch for the night.

- A lot more fluffy and slice of life-ish! I am definitely going for that Star's Hollow vibe where everybody knows everybody, and this kind of thing being a very juicy piece of gossip for the town!
- I'm thinking that night stretches into a week, which then stretches into a month, which then stretches into the two of them being something like roommates. He's got a second chance at life and doesn't want to blow it, ending up taking a job either at the diner or at the local mechanic. You choose! Would love to flesh this one out!

While the surface remains frozen, underground seemingly has just a bit of warmth from the planet's core. Because of this, there are many underground cities. Muse A has lived in an underground city her entire life. She's never seen the sky, and is sure she'll die without seeing it as well. That is, until, she is framed for the murder of her family. With nowhere else to go, nobody willing to believe her, Muse A takes to the surface. Rumors of surface dwellers surviving for years giving her hope to escape her untimely fate. She is, however, incredibly underprepared for the cold that she faces. Muse B has lived on the surface his entire life. While the weather gets worse, he makes do with what he has and lives a comfortable life in his little shelter. While heading home after hunting and fishing, Muse B stumbles across Muse A's body. It is clear she is from underground from the way that she is dressed. Against his better judgement, Muse B saves Muse A and takes her back to his shelter to nurse her back to life. When she wakes, a blizzard has trapped them in Muse B's bunker.

- Was there a lot of scientific research done on this? ...No. But, I love a winter apocalypse and would absolutely love to flesh this idea out more!
- I am not too sure where to take the story after Muse B rescues Muse A, but I'd love to discuss more! Perhaps, at some point, people from the government underground come looking for her? Maybe she came from a pretty important family, like her father was a senator or something, so they are adamant on bringing her family to justice or something like that!
