storyline: I would like a sort of rags to riches story, much like a modern fairytale. Javier would be taken from the streets and kept as a butler to a wealthy man or a janitor at a large company. or maybe he was taken off the streets and given as a gift to a man of high status ( like a mafia boss??). whatever Javier's situation is he will need to have help learning how to function in society and possibly learn how to cope and address his past trauma. More on shapeshifters: They are very sensitive creatures and the product of human birth defects. With the capacity to feel other people's emotions, they are prone to emotional outbursts depending on what sorts of people they have been exposed to. Once the color has left their hair it will become brittle and fall out. As all the hair from their bodies has fallen out including the eyebrows and lashes their skin will lose its color in the same color coordinated fashion. The skin will lose its elasticity and dry out leaving the shifter as a dried-up husk of a body. When they finally pass on their bodies crumble into dark or white sand.
They can recover from it and gain their color back over Time with delicate care and affection.

personality- Since his color is white, his behavior can come off as naive and innocent to a point. White is a very pure color so his intentions and actions will reflect that sort of behavior. Javier is very frugal and does his best to think about how he can use the resources he has available to him. He is good at improvising to get what he needs done. In his eyes, frivolous behavior is just not an option. Though he wishes for a more beautiful future filled with beautiful things, he sees this life as out of reach.
He has a huge imagination and is able to easily think outside the box, however, the downside is that he is prone to get lost in his thoughts. Sadly this happens so often that he will zone out during inopportune times. His spacey nature makes him an easy target at times no matter how hard he tries to pay attention, as his focus is constantly on multiple things at once at any given moment.
interests- He never really had the opportunity to indulge in many hobbies as they usually were too expensive for him. He does, however, enjoy doodling and drawing when he gets the opportunity. He is very artistic and loves beautiful things, despite not being able to have access to anything so pretty. He also has a wild imagination in which he gets lost. His visions and daydreams often become so vivid that he sometimes will change into whatever it is that he is dreaming of. This often happens in his sleep as well. His excessive daydreaming and visions make him a wonderful storyteller as well.
fears- His greatest fear is becoming ill and no longer being able to care for himself or getting himself in debt because of it. He also fears becoming like his father.
history- He grew up in a very poor environment. His family worked really hard to keep their home but in the end, they had to file for bankruptcy. His father developed a drinking problem and things got even harder from thereon. As a teen, he was forced to drop out of school in favor of finding work. Though, he never was able to keep his jobs for long due to his parents constantly moving from shelter to shelter. After he became an adult he found himself still without a home, desperate for work, and living in homeless shelters. In this horrible economy, it has been tough to do anything to earn money outside of odd jobs and has resorted to prostitution a few times. He has had a string of boyfriends and a couple of sugar daddies over the years. None of his relationships have lasted long or worked out well for him whether because of abuse or personality conflicts.
