With each creak of the door, the musty scent of aged paper and ink wraps around you, pulling you deeper into the embrace of the unknown. This hidden sanctuary promises more than just books; it offers a passage to worlds waiting to be explored, where the boundaries of reality blur and imagination takes flight. As you, dear witness, step inside these four walls, stories and dreams await to be uncovered. They line the inexorable amount of shelves, countless novels of worlds explored, but with plenty of space for those as yet written. Dare to leave one of your own?

I've been here for little over a week and realized that I've yet to make one of these. I'm Stormrider, your humble librarian, and you may call me whatever you wish. I'm the resident skulker in shadows. I've been text based role playing for roughly 18+ years, but tabletop role playing for much longer. My interests have fallen mostly into the realm of the fantastical, especially into the shadowy grasp of the dark and bleak, but please don't let that dissuade you from approaching me with different ideas completely. For I am, in truth, home to many differing tales and willing accomplice in the creation of such. (aka, i'm a huge nerd and have been involved with and enjoyed a wide variety of topics. clears throat and drops back down into my spoooooooky voice)

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there! However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! The door opens as a man runs by carrying a metal briefcase under one arm, opening it to reveal several glowing vials of liquid inside...before slowwwwwly turning to look at Stormrider. Slowly he closes up the case and begins to inch out of the room.

"Welcome." The figure would remark as he begins to continue inching towards the door. "This place is good. Enjoyable. Happy to have you I imagine."

There is the sound of glass shattering as he leaps out the nearby window instead of the door and keeps sprinting.

"Welcome." The figure would remark as he begins to continue inching towards the door. "This place is good. Enjoyable. Happy to have you I imagine."

There is the sound of glass shattering as he leaps out the nearby window instead of the door and keeps sprinting.

She motions to her imp Charles, be a dear and clean up the glass would you. And remind me to install a bay window for that fellow if they should ever return. I'd hate for them to have an accident on their future departures.

She smooths down her petticoat, then goes to 'dust' her shelves again.
