About Me
Hi, I'm Vampiress, or Victoria, whichever you prefer! I've been writing for 15+ years, in which I have covered a wide number of topics, categories, and partners. The only thing I've found I am not well versed in-- likely because I was horrible at it throughout all of my schooling-- is history. While I am not entirely historically dense, and can provide at least the basic accurate information, I pride myself in writing fiction! I have found over the years that I quite enjoy a good supernatural story, with plenty of angst, torment, and romance. I've been known to put my characters through quite the difficult plots, and I am no stranger to violence, gore, death, etc.

Currently, I am a full-time graduate student, so my schedule can sometimes get a bit crazy. However, I do my best to get at least one reply up per day. On days when life is not busy, I am able to write multiple posts per day, given that my partner can/wants to do this also. I am very flexible and love to communicate with the person I am writing with. Forming the plot of a story together, rather than just winging it, is what I believe takes a good story and makes it a great story.

On average I write 3-4 paragraphs of a decent length per post, however, sometimes I get carried away and can put out significantly more. I find my paragraph/post length often is on par with what my partner produces, which means that I can also write lengthy posts, if this is a writing style that my partner prefers. I write in third person, and will not do first person. Third person writing really allows me to shape a character and flesh out the details. Past and present tense writing tend to be a mix within my stories, depending on what is happening in the story itself.

I do not mind smut within my stories, as I often write romance RPs, mixed with other elements. I do not do stories that have plots solely focused on smut/romance. I need a good plot, and prefer the smut to occur naturally within the story. As I said, I've been writing for a long time now, so I've given many things a try at least once, and I'm willing to write things that I have not encountered before. As far as kinks, I can't say that I have any, nor do I have a list. However, I do have hard limits, which include: non-consensual sex, bathroom play, and excessive amounts of physical abuse during sex.

What I Am Looking For
While I have been writing for a significant amount of time, I know that is not the case for everyone. What I seek in a partner is somebody who is communicative, and can put forth enough effort/details within their posts to keep the story moving! I know that life comes first, so I do understand that posts can't always be made daily :) Again, the biggest thing I'm looking for, is just somebody who doesn't mind creating a fantastic story line together. :)

Now, for the part I'm sure everyone finds most important! The reason for the request thread: I have created a new character, and I do not entirely have a plot in mind for him yet. So, I'm in search of a partner who wants to craft a plot/story with me! Or, if anyone reads the character description below and has any ideas of their own, I am all ears! I do not have an image for Rook yet, but I am on the hunt for one, and will have a face claim for him before a story starts! I look forward to gaining a new partner and developing a new story. :)

Name: Rook Arawn
Gender: Male
Age: Appears as a male in his late 20s/mid 30s. Has been in existence for hundreds of years.
Species: Deity of the Dead; Psychopomps

Psychopomps: Those who guide the spirits of the dead. In the human world, there are many names for them– Grim Reaper, the valkyries, the Ferryman of Norse mythology, Death, and more.

Rook had been a creature of many names, and many faces. He had existed in a world between the dead and the living, for dozens of lifetimes over. How his existence had come to be, Rook could not remember. It was if he had simply been blinked into reality, existing in a space where he once had not. Throughout the changes of the morals, Rook had changed forms, becoming what it was that people wanted to see as their souls were ushered from the land of the living, to the realm of the dead. If Heaven and Hell were real, Rook could not say; he did not know. It was not his place.

As times moved forward and the world industrialized, the image that Rook appeared as the most, was another human. Therefore, Rook had grown familiar with taking on the form of a male human. Though, somewhere along the lines, Rook's detached demeanor started to change shape. It was not his purpose to care or feel attached to the souls he aided in their travels, but there were exceptions to every rule, were there not? If it was not an exception, then it would have to be an anomaly.

Rook had guided hundreds of thousands of men, women, children, and elderly through the space between life and death. Out of all of the souls he had encountered, Rook had not found himself fond of any of them. Indifferent would be the best word to summarize. The dead needed to be taken into the afterlife, and somebody or something, had to do it. Still, when Rook encountered a soul whose love for the partner they had left behind was so strong that it radiated from them, Rook found himself moved. There was love, and then there was the soulbound nature between two people, and for whatever reason, Rook had broken the rules. Instead of taking the soul across a lake of shadow and void, he had taken them back towards the light that was life. It had been that person's time, and Rook had just altered the course.

What consequences it would have for the couple, Rook did not know. He had never taken a soul back to the land of those still living, allowing it to rejoin with the body it had departed. However, there were consequences for Rook. While he might have been summoned into existence, Rook had a solid foothold in the living world, after spending time traversing between it and the land of the dead. If nature or the Gods, or whatever beings had formed his existence, wanted him gone, then somebody would have to get their hands dirty. It also meant that Rook, a psychopomps, was not trapped within the land of the living. The powers that controlled the land of the dead, were not as easily moved into the land of those still living. It was not in their nature, unlike Rook, whose nature was to be able to exist in either realm. It also meant that so long as he remained in the world of mortals, those in the underworld could not detect his presence. If they wanted to find him, they would have to send foot soldiers to do their dirty work.

Finding Rook would not be an easy task. Condemned to walk the world of humans forever, did not make Rook powerless. Other guides of the dead had been sent after him; sent to kill him. None had survived thus far. The underworld would have to send somebody or something more powerful. The longer Rook had existed, the stronger his powers and abilities had grown. While there were those who had been around far longer than he had, there were not an abundance of them. It was why Rook had been lucky, thus far.

This request thread is now closed! I have found a partner and am currently in the works of formulating a story :) Thank you everyone who showed interest in this new character of mine!
