I'm a 52-year-old text-based roleplayer who accidentally stumbled into this hobby on a dating website back in 2007, and I've loved it ever since.
I write exclusively in storyline, novella, and multipara formats, and I generally remain in the Victorian era because it's where I feel most at home. I also prefer writing with people close to my own age (40+).
Someone once told me that I was too old to roleplay, that people my age shouldn't. I disagree. Growing older doesn't mean giving up imagination. I still have stories to tell, worlds to build, and a love for horror, romance, and the darker side of fantasy. Yes, I enjoy blood and gore, profanity, sensual scenes (when called for). I want to be on the edge of seat and my heart beating wildly lol.
My stories revolve around vampires, werewolves, witches, and demons, though I personally only write vampire characters.
I'm not the best at introductions, and I don't claim to be a perfect writer, but I do enjoy creating rich stories, developing memorable characters, and, with luck, making a few lasting friendships along the way.
Also, I use pictures from Pinterest, and yes, some are AI. Im not sure if that matters here. I'm still learning my way around.
