A BIT ABOUT ME
Hello everyone, I'm Nettles (she/her or they/them) 
. I'm a twenty-two year old uni student who was once a Quotev connoisseur from 2018 to mid-2024 (if you know you know). I'm a lesbian, disabled, and (Gasp! My greatest ailment) English.I adore the wide span of the medieval era, pre-history (Spinosaurus, my beloved), drawing, scruffy dogs, insects, autumnal colours, thrifted trinkets, folklore and mythology, and making little pocket worlds in my brain — among other things.
I love reading and am currently reading four (yeah, four
) books. They’re The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon, Our Hideous Progeny by C.E McGill, and Greenteeth by Molly O’Neill.My music taste can be condensed into my favourite artists: Little Miss Cadaver, Adrienne Lenker, Yaelokre, Big Thief, Small Fools, Muco, Lo & the High Road, and Rabbitology.
ROLEPLAY PREFERENCES
Roleplay partner preferences: I would prefer anyone roleplaying with me to be in the age bracket of 20-26.
Relationship preferences: I'm currently looking for a romantic roleplay(s). I prefer the in between of instant love and slow burn and, with discussion and plotting, slowburn.
Pairing preferences: Talking of romance, I like writing both fxf and fxm. If you're up for a gruff / dom woman who'd carry your male oc off into the sunset, boy do I have ocs like under my belt (but also, half-joking aside, I would equally love to write a straight-passing relationship with whoever and with whichever oc if it was captivating!).
I only do oc x oc instead of canon x canon or canon x oc in a fandom's setting, as I find it less stressful (misrepresenting a character can sometimes be painful for me
).A note on my characters: So far, I only have two OCs, in my oc form thread, however I am on a roll with typing the individual oc's forms out so far.
Also, something I'll need any roleplay partners to know of in relation to my OCs is that I will have butch ocs to roleplay with, as I remember struggling to find potential roleplay partners who were open to the butch x fem / butch x butch dynamic (now that I'm thinking about it, I think it was related to the fear of "not like other girls" ocs and the demonisation of masculine women
).My OCs are human before anything else, and so they will have flaws. A few of my OCs are just pathetic, ratty women, honestly, LMAOO
.Online activity: Currently, I'm only active on here thirty minutes maximum, because I've typed up my (currently) sole oc form on word and then copied and pasted it onto my oc form thread, and overall snooping on the different threads on the topics on here.
If I'm not active for a day or three (or even a week), please bear with me, as I am a uni student and I'll either be prioritising my workload, reading with a cup of tea, or socialising with my friends.
Average word count: I range from 500 to lower 1k words. I would be looking for a roleplay partner who can match my freak (wordcount). However, I must admit, it does depend day to day - although, I will make the effort to stick to whatever rough word count my roleplay partner is doing so that the effort isn't one sided.

and that my OC(s) can dirty talk, tease, and intimately touch if that's anyone's preference?With a roleplay partner, I need to (and love to!) discuss with roleplay partners the roleplay idea, plotting, oc headcanons, and, overall, getting to know roleplay partners before the roleplay starts. it helps me submerge myself in the roleplay idea(s). I also support the divas who make oc playlists, pinterest boards, and anyone with the same interests as me (rizz fr).
