I've been roleplaying on and off for close to fifteen years. I've been on Sanctum for a nice while, I've found sort of a groove and I've had some wonderful partners - please feel free to brows my profile for some idea of how I write!
I'm currently looking for one, maybe two people to write with at this time.
Unlike a lot of people, I don't roleplay fantasy or sci-fi, and have little experience with supernatural elements as well. My main genres are slice of life, modern, and dark romances - all in one, sometimes.
For me, it's about a connection between my character and yours - give me the angst, the tension, and the obsession. I will always have smut and other mature themes in my roleplays, but if I had to give it a ratio, I would say 50/50 smut/plot. There are times I prefer the plot to come first, and I like my smut front and center when the characters just cannot help themselves.
My writing style could be described as advance, multi-paragraph - usually a minimum of 500 words, but can do much more if the time is right. There may be times it's shorter than that, but it truly depends on the scene we are in - always quality over quantity.
If you would like to provide a writing sample, that's great but it's not required. I may have already scoured your profile and looked at some of your other postings. If I don't think our writing styles will match, I will probably tell you - never meant to be unkind, just honest so we don't get ourselves into something for nothing.
I am often on for replies at least every other day, if not daily. That's not to say there won't be times where it takes me a week to get a reply out. On the flip side, there are days I can rattle off posts until my fingers go numb. I am a very patient, no pressure kind of writer - this is supposed to be fun, and relaxing. Feel free to remind me after two weeks of no response, and I will do the same for you.

All plots and pairings are original and in a world of their own, mostly slice of life but I love dark elements, a pair unable to get enough of each other - suggest an idea and I will be honest in whether we can do it or not!
My characters are created on a plot by plot basis - this means I will always have to create a new character for a roleplay, but also means it'll be unique to our plot.
I only use realistic faceclaims, or realistic drawings. Additionally, we can describe the way our characters look if that's more your style.

Life is always more important than this - we should never apologize for when things happen, or if you're just not in the mood to write. If you ghost, oh well! Come on back whenever you're ready, or don't - either way, I try to be a very patient and understanding person.

My number one rule is communication. Talk to me if there's an issue at any point, to give ideas for the plot, constructive criticism, or tell me how much you adore my writing.

Character sheets for me are not necessary, but if you'd prefer to create them we can! I can do something as simple as Name, Age, Faceclaim and run from there. I have even started with only a name and an image before!

MMC thinks FMC is a spoiled brat. FMC is dating his little brother, who loves her just as much as he loves to spend money. His success (or the family business) kept him very wealthy. MMCs brother had proposed to FMC twice, and she turned him down both times. Yet, there she was across from the fire on fourth of July, his brothers arm around her waist and a new pair of diamond earrings sparkling. He was starting to think FMC was leading his brother on, and he didn't like it. They find themselves alone together, and MMC confronts her. FMC is in fact a spoiled brat, and she had always sort of liked MMC, so she throws him attitude. He suddenly wanted to wrap his hand around her throat, and she knew it.
FMC maybe just isn't ready for marriage. Or maybe she is in it for the money, and MMC is the only one willing to call her out on it.
MMC offers something more rough around the edges than his brother, and that entices FMC. He makes her earn what she wants rather than just giving it to her.

I'd love to elaborate more on this with someone until it really makes sense! It sort of just fell out of my brain in this way.
FMC is a rising star (actress, musician, etc.) She's been seen on talkshows and at award shows, each time getting more and more attention. MMC is an athlete, rookie of the year and only getting better. He's on the sportscasting shows and those same talkshows she's on.
We can plot this a couple of ways:
A) Their management teams want them to get together for the publicity of it. Classic forced proximity has them falling in love, even if they might resent it in the beginning.
B) They meet naturally, at an event or maybe even through something like Raya, a dating app. They know how the press works, so they try to keep it a secret even though they can't get enough of each other. Of course, it's inevitable - how do they handle that when it does come out?

FMC is married to one of the wealthiest men in the city. She lives her life in luxury, with no job and people to handle everything for her. MMC is security detail for the couple, but mainly assigned to the house. He patrols the grounds inside and out, spending his days and nights on the property. FMC grows lonely, with no job and her husband being away often. She finds herself developing a close relationship with MMC, who has never crossed the professional line in all his years with the couple - that's not to say he never thought about it.
In my head, the MMC is an older man who has a lot of experience in his field - this isn't a requirement, but I think it could add a layer to the plot.
Maybe MMC has been security for the husband's entire family for a long time, so he knows things he shouldn't. This means he has the trust of the husband, as well as leverage if they ever got caught.
FMC and MMC were best friends since childhood. Then, in their senior year of high school they started dating. It was a classic love story, that lasted until they graduated college. They broke up and it was messy and complicated, then one of them moved across the country to get away from the other. Now, they're in their thirties and FMC/MMC moves back home. When they run into each other again, the tension is high and emotions run wild.
There are so many options here that we can play and adapt to - affair, small town romance, you name it.
One idea I had was:
FMC broke up with him because something tragic happened and she was running away. Maybe she meets another man and dates him for a while, maybe she comes back with another man on her arm still, or maybe she stays single and maybe MMC is the one with a girl on his arm.

I have this picture of him going out to see her, or maybe hearing through the grapevine about some less than innocent things she was doing. So when she moves back, and they inevitably start seeing each other again, he sort of passive aggressively treats her a little worse - I'm not talking abuse, I'm talking he's less soft and sensitive and more confident and dominant.. in everything he does.
