BEGINNING DISCLAIMER
I tend to lean towards stories that are on the darker side of things. As such, there will typically be darker themes in any stories that I write. The limits of them can be discussed and clearly outlined prior to the beginning of the story. I have labeled the entire thread with those topics to be easily read!
Along with that, this thread serves the purpose of recruitment for a specific kind of plot. You can find that below, but I will be much harder to convince for other plots or pairings.
Who I am, what I like to write:
Heyya! I go by Glissy on the internet, but all of my friends call me Tori and I welcome anyone I speak with to do the same! I have been writing for well over a decade now, and have come up on close to a decade of roleplaying and collaborative storytelling such as Dungeons & Dragons. I love to meet new people and would love to chat out of character as well, so don't feel shy to reach out!
My favorite genre to write is fantasy romance by far. I can do genres other than fantasy, but that is the most popular for me. I am not much a fan of sci-fi, and the only sci-fi I would be open to writing would be set in the world of Red Rising by Pierce Brown (OCs only of course). I can be swayed to modern or slice of life, though those are certainly harder.
What I expect:
I kindly ask for replies in a timely manner. If something comes up that would keep you from posting, please just let me know and take all the time you need! I merely like to be kept in the loop. I understand that we all get burnt out, sometimes just aren't up for writing, or have extenuating circumstances that mean we cannot get around to it. All of those are alright! I appreciate the communication so I may know whether or not the interest remains in our story.
My other request is that my partners have a grasp on decent grammar. I understand that typos on both ends will happen and sometimes we will miss some things and that is perfectly fine. I also understand that English is not everyone's first language.
With these being said, I will also extend these courtesies to anyone I write with.
My reply length and usual writing schedule:
I do prefer quality over quantity in posts. That being said, my reply length does not drop below advanced-literate. I prefer to have a decent amount of material to work off of, and try to extend the same to any partner I write with. I can often stretch into novella length replies depending on the length of my partner's reply. I will typically write a minimum of three sizable paragraphs, and that number can only rise. I give what I receive!
My writing schedule is decently open, for the most part. I work part-time evenings (3pm-11pm EST) on varying days throughout the week, with my only guaranteed day off being every Thursday that I typically use to play D&D with my friends. I can sometimes post during work depending on how busy things are. Throughout the rest of the week, I balance time between my friends and family and my other hobbies. On a good week, you can typically expect multiple responses per week, sometimes even multiple per day depending on the flow of the story. Other times, I may only post once a week. At the very least I will try my hardest to get one one post out per week, and will let you know if I will not be able to achieve that.
Gore and violence tolerance level:
Gore and violence are both a big "yes" in stories with me. I like to be able to write with as little restriction on the contents of my post as possible, especially for the darker stories where that tends to be the overall tone or blanket of the story. On top of that, most of my characters tend to be a little unhinged or violent, if not both and if not more than a little! I ask that if you do commit to a story with me, that you are alright with at least some level of gore and violence. Having a limit is perfectly fine and can be discussed between us!
Sexual content and kinks/limits:
I don't mind sexual content in stories, and in fact welcome it when the time is right. I have been dallying in more "erotic" writing lately and feel much more confident of it, but I still typically tend to prefer a more story heavy plotline. My preferred ratio is either usually 80%/20% (leaning heavily on the story) or more recently 70%/30%. The big thing for me, for smut and that leading up to it, is foreplay. I will often find myself enjoying the moments leading up to it than the act itself.
Pairing/Setting idea:
I have had an idea now for a plot based on something I have read, and that is the main reason for this entire request thread. The general idea of the story is an Angel x Demon pairing in a world where any relationship between the two of them is forbidden and illegal. Breaking that law would result in the loss of wings, banishment to the mortal realm if you were lucky. If you are unlucky, the punishment is death. The main setting would take place in an Academy in Heaven, where angels and demons both learn together their part in the Harmony of the world that must be preserved above all else. While tense, there is peace between both realms and there has been for quite some time. Until things begin to stir, and Heaven gets pit against Hell.
For the world itself, please look below! As far as the pairing goes, my idea is an angel that is the daughter of a Seraph that sits on Heaven's Council, raised sheltered and spoiled, now being sent to the Academy and meeting Lucifer's son, having spent his entire life in Hell under his father's abuse and expectations. For many reasons, their pairing is forbidden. Yet they cannot help but drift closer to one another, even as the peace of Heaven and Hell begins to crumble around them and they are thrown into a civil war for survival.
Preferred character:
For this story, I would be writing an angel named Elowyn. Her mother was an Unclaimed, a former human that had died and ascended to the Academy. No one would take her seriously, neither angel nor demon, and she had to fight her way through the Academy at every turn. She excelled, and she became an angel at the end of her tenure at the Academy. She was the only angel in existence who ascended to the title of Seraphim, and sat on Heaven's High Council.
She loved Elowyn, but raised her with an iron fist. She didn't want Elowyn to be mocked or taken advantage of because of her status, and wanted her to be strong. Elowyn was always soft-hearted and gentle, mostly sequestered from the rest of the realms. At times she'd run off to Earth to observe the mortals, but had little interaction with demons of any kind. She is kind and tries to see the best in people, even when she should not.
Additional notes:
This is really a rushed and thrown together request thread, mostly because I am itching for this story and there's so many details for it that I couldn't possibly fit them all into one thread (and it'd get boring!). This is the general premise of the world and the pairing, and if you find yourself interested I would gladly be open to expanding on everything further and building a story around it.

Before there was Heaven, before there was Hell, before there was Earth, there was only the Void.
The Void was an endless sea of souls without shape and wild primordial magic. Time had no meaning, no weight. Life could not truly be lived, nor could it ever end. Everything merely existed. Drifted.
From this emptiness, Shepha was born. The Creator, The First Light. Whether He created the Void or simply emerged from it, no one truly knows.
Seeing chaos reign in this emptiness, Shepha gave the universe the first law. Balance.
Balance has become the foundation upon which reality would rely.
To preserve this Balance, Shepha divided this Void into three realms.
Heaven was created to be a realm of order, discipline, and purpose. The people of Heaven would guide, protect, and preserve His creations. The Angels of Heaven embody reason over emotion and duty over desire.
Hell was created to be a realm of passion, ambition, and constant change. Its people were created to challenge stagnation, to ensure that creation never halted at a standstill. The Demons of Hell would embody freedom, strength and individuality.
Then, there was Earth. The gap bridged between both realms. A world where souls were to live free from the celestial lives of duty. The Humans created in Shepha’s image were given the greatest gift of all. Choice. Unlike their Immortal counterparts, Humans were born an utter clean slate. They had no predetermined purpose. Every decision they make shapes their soul, their being.
Every Human being lives their cycle on Earth. When they die, the worthy souls are brought to the Academy as Unclaimed. Here, they remember fragments of their Human lives while they walk a new path. Over time, they forget their mortal life to become one of the Immortals they now walk among. Even in Heaven, the Humans stand in the middle. They preserve their choice. They are neither Angel nor Demon. The choices they make at the Academy decides the path they will walk for eternity.
Thousands of years ago, shortly after the Academy was founded, Angels and Demons were not forbidden from mingling with one another. Relationships between them were rare and controversial, but not illegal. It was accepted under the guise that offspring between them was impossible and that the Balance would survive the love between factions.
Then, a child was born.
An Angel and a Demon fell in love. Their child should not have been possible, yet somehow he was born. He was born with celestial and infernal essence confined within a single soul. Unlike ordinary immortals, he could wield both holy and infernal magic without an ounce of corruption. His soul harnessed an amount of magic never before witnessed. He was called an abomination.
The High Council feared what the child represented. That child threatened the Balance and everything they had fought to preserve.
Shepha enacted His judgment. The child would die for the sake of Balance. In an attempt to save their child, his parents tried to sequester him away from Shepha's omnipotent eyes. They failed. The child was struck down and his parents were wiped from the realms. Balance was preserved.
Immediately after this occurred, the High Council established the laws that still govern society today. The Law of Separation, which prohibited Angelic and Demonic unions. Threat of exile or in extreme cases, execution, for those who violated them.
Over the years, any mentions of this child in historical record were purged. His story lives on only in legend.

The Academy stands on neutral grounds within Heaven, away from the capital. It was built by Shepha shortly after the creation of the realms to serve as a place where the young souls could be educated before taking their permanent seat among their kin. For centuries this Academy has been untouched by war as the Balance was held. By divine law, the Academy belongs to neither Heaven nor Hell.
Students live together despite their rivalries to learn the history, laws and the responsibilities of their Immortal life. They attend classes, train their newfound abilities, complete missions on Earth, and solidify their loyalty.
Every student is expected to uphold the ancient Laws of Balance. Heaven and Hell must never seek one another's destruction or annihilation. Mortals must never learn the truth of either celestial realm. Souls must be judged fairly and without prejudice. The Academy is neutral ground. The most important of all: The Balance must be preserved. Breaking these laws are considered one of the gravest crimes an Immortal can commit, and are met with execution.
