The Book of Vampiric Offspring,
page 59
โฆborn vampires are vampires from birth rather than humans who have been turned. They are naturally more powerful and possess several advantages over turned vampires.
- Sunlight: Born vampires are unaffected by sunlight.
- Bloodlust: Their hunger for blood is generally easier to control.
- Power: They are typically stronger and more powerful than turned vampires.

โฆ strength of the vampire doing the turning directly influences the strength of the vampire they create. A weak vampire will produce a weaker offspring, while a powerful vampire can create an exceptionally powerful one.
For example, a vampire turned by a relatively weak vampire may be significantly weaker than their creator. A vampire turned by a High Lord, however, would be extraordinarily powerfulโthough still slightly weaker than the Lord himself.
The Inheritance of Traits
Turning does not completely erase the traits a person possessed before becoming a vampire. In some cases, a newly turned vampire may retain or amplify certain physical, magical, or hereditary abilities they possessed in life.
Because of this, the strength of a turned vampire cannot always be predicted solely by the power of their creator.
A powerful vampire may create an unexpectedly formidable offspring if that human possesses rare or exceptional traits of their own. In rare cases, the combination of the creatorโs vampiric power and the humanโs inherent abilities could produce a vampire who ultimately surpasses the vampire who turned them.
