Hello everyone and welcome to my introductory thread. It's always tough to start off so I went for pop culture. If you recognised the quote(s) above then kudos!
I'll try to keep this informative but short and sweet. I'm writing to you from the comfort of my desk chair which is currently swivelling around somewhere in Western Europe. At thirty-three years of age, I'll happily tell you a little about who I am as a writing partner. I have been writing since I was a teenager and roleplaying from the age of seventeen. I cut my teeth on Star Wars roleplay, if you can believe it, but have since obviously branched out to other genres and fandoms. I consider myself a literate, experienced writer. My usual, preferred blends are fantasy and sci-fi though I venture into slice of life stories or the supernatural from time to time. Kinks and content are always up for discussion. Collaboration is key for a mutually enjoyable experience. So far as pairings are concerned I prefer straight couples though have nothing against same sex or those on the spectrum in real or pretend life. It's fine if NPCs or side-chars deviate from the norm, it's all in the name of writing good stories and compelling characters. Smut-to-story ratio I like to have a nice equilibrium (50/50 to 30/70). The steamy parts just hit so much better if they are anchored in the characters. Can't have sparks without chemistry.
If you have a way with words, descriptions, expressions and the like, I will love you to bits. This by no means obligates you to send me posts spanning pages, I look for quality not quantity. Though, if you can produce a large amount of quality, that's even better. Details are awesome and spice up the story. Let me know what something tastes like, what it is you smell, feel, what colour the sky has, etc. The more the merrier! Weave a painting for my imagination. I will certainly do my best to do the same so we can immerse ourselves in the setting. I'm also all for the use of images or music to enhance the ambiance of the stories we create. Multiple (shared) characters to flesh out our world are almost a must.
I like to know my roleplay partners at least superficially. Preferably I'll know you well. Experience has taught me that if you get along OOCly (I've got Discord or Telegram upon request) the roleplay itself will benefit. Throw me some banter, talk to me, we're both in this. I'm an understanding and reasonable guy (or I like to tell myself that); if you can't post for a few days, I'll understand. Also, if you're losing interest or want to try something else, please, let me know!
