Hi there!

This is a very controversial idea, indeed, but I think there is a lot to explore and unpack, and diving deep into some of the very uncomfortable feelings that arise between the characters will be quite interesting.

Before you scroll on any further I'd like to make a couple things very clear:

  1. I am looking to write this as a MASC x MASC pairing, i.e., both characters are masculine-presenting and even straight-passing.
  2. Both men will be CIS men. Nothing against any other orientation, it's just a preference.
  3. This will be more about the PSYCHOLOGICAL aspects (guilt, angst, etc), and is in no way endorsing or romanticising incest. (I will also emphasise that the characters will not in any way be biologically related.)
  4. This will be strictly VANILLA - no kinks/fetishes involved.
Keywords for the dad: morning espresso, warm laughter, artisanal colognes, swimming in the Mediterranean, tanned skin, affectionate gestures, strong paternal figure, insomniac, sun-drenched nostalgia, art of sprezzatura, kisses on the cheek, workaholic

Keywords for their dynamic:

stolen glances, laced fingers, late-night conversations, double dynamics (father-son and something else), the weight of familial history, trembling hand, brushed knuckles

If you're interested, please feel free to DM me :)

This is NOT about...
  • Kinks and fetishes that go beyond the realm of vanilla
  • Romanticisation of incest
  • Purely sexual content
This IS about...
  • The troubling reality of the nature of the relationship
  • Lots of angst, unfulfilled needs and wants, tremendous amounts of guilt
  • Exploration of the inappropriate blurring of boundaries between two men who, had they not become family, might have been able to love each other normally
What should the son be like? (Your character)
Non-negotiables:
  • Cis male
  • Bottom
  • Masculine-presenting
Flexible but preferred:
  • Caucasian
  • Athletic build
  • As tall as the dad (6'0)
What's the dad like? (Check out my character's sheet)
Age range
M/C: 30-35
Y/C: 20-23
(Not set in stone!)
Partner Requirements (I offer the same)
  • Literate
  • Will NOT ghost
  • Third person, past tense
  • Lots of OOC chatter, brainstorming and sharing of music, ideas, scenarios
  • Quality over quantity - if we can aim for max 500 words per reply that would be good, although longer replies from time to time is perfectly fine (and to be expected from my side anyways)
  • Able and willing to play side characters as required
  • Real life faceclaims
  • Consistent communication and reasonable reply times
Plot
M/C, a relatively successful financial analyst living in NYC, is living a pretty stable life that anybody would be jealous of: he owns a home in a wealthy neighbourhood, has a steady 6-figure income, and although his fitness levels and appearance that may not be what they were a decade ago, he is nonetheless conventionally attractive and fit enough for his age bracket.

But everyone has a secret in their life.

M/C's secret is that he is a single dad to Y/C, but only as far as the laws are concerned.

They're not biologically related in any way, as M/C simply won legal custody over Y/C against his ex-wife, who was (e.g., abusive, neglectful, etc.) making M/C feel that Y/C growing up in her house any longer would only make things worse for him. M/C genuinely did, and still does, care for Y/C and chose to become his father despite zero blood ties.

Although a while after Y/C entered adulthood, what was once purely paternal started to morph into something else. Which unfortunately turns out to be mutual... and to have even been one-sided when Y/C was younger.

M/C wishes to continue to be there for Y/C as his legal father, and as someone who watched him grow since the age of seventeen. The question is, how does one extinguish the flames that have already been ignited?
Potential ideas
  • The ex-wife showing up
  • A family/double-date dinner between the dad & his new girlfriend and the son & his girlfriend/boyfriend
  • The son inviting the dad to a club - and the mood accidentally shifting from fun and playful to something more
  • The same old annual holiday in the Italian countryside - where the son is warmly welcomed by the dad's family as always, their changing dynamic unknown to everyone at the dinner table
