Personality:
She has a fighter persona; she is light and airy and can sometimes seem almost too innocent, but one look in her eyes shows the opposite. She is cunning and swift in actions; she has been known to react quickly without thought. She distrusts almost all people, but looking at her, it seems she trusts everyone. She has been seen multiple times on top of the tower, looking into the sea to just standing there. She could be doing that for minutes, hours, sometimes days in complete silence looking. She is known for her magic, fire to be precise, which is a dangerous and untrusting practice. Yet, with her attitude and sunny disposition, people have trusted her with her magic and let her do what she needed. To an outsider, it would seem that she plays two different people, the person she shows to the world and the other... that she genuinely was.
History: Not much was known about Bellatrix when she came to the school with another cartful of high-born female children. She excelled in all her classes; she was top marks in every test, skill, challenge and quiz. She was always hard to trick as she never fully trusted her teachers. She never gave them all she had and most of her magic; she hid deeper inside herself. When one battle came about, and she cast fire magic for the first time, the entire council was up in arms, but after many tests and trials, she was deemed safe enough to hold onto her fire magic. She doesn't cast it often and barely with anyone watching; she has been only known to use it in dire straits, and even then, she should hold back. Bellatrix has never been an adviser; it is one skill that eluded her and her teachers to help train her to advise a king. She was too blunt when it was needed, rash when peace should be handled, and she usually got herself distracted on an archeological mission that she found. Bellatrix was obsessed with the history of magic; she found it her mission to get back all the knowledge that had been lost. She has spent years tracking down artifacts, old scripts and books, bartering with all manner of civilization to increase her hoard of knowledge in her house (magically trapped and safeguarded, of course).
