An Introduction
I must admit that I'm mostly copy-pasting this from another site that I left, so if you see anything wrong with it, feel free to let me know!Anyhow, I'm Vaip@, as my username says, but I like to go by simply Vipes, or Boof with friends. Feel free to call me what you like, though! So long as it's not demeaning or anything.
I'm a geek; I play League of Legends almost religiously, though I just started out last year, I love the Mass Effect franchise, Persona and I'm at least familiar with most famous game franchises.
I also love anime, as you can probably tell. I'm currently obsessed with Persona 5 after beating it for the first time, and I'm already looking forward to beating it a second time. Oh, did I mention I absolutely love BnHA? Cuz' I do, and now that the third season is over, it's all back to waiting for next year's! As for other series or manga; I probably at least passingly know the more famous ones, so don't be afraid to ask.
On that note, I don't really know much about any TV series or movies at all, except maybe a few Marvel and DC movies I've gone to watch with my friends.
To the Good Stuff
Now, for what we're all here for!I like to think I'm a pretty lax guy when it comes to roleplaying, given the fact that it's a hobby for me and hobbies are supposed to be fun. That's not to say I don't have standards for it, though.
I hold standards for myself when it comes to writing and although I won't hold others to those standards, I do expect a bit of effort from my partners.
1. I usually spend at least an hour writing a post given the fact that I'm a slow writer and like to give detail to every post (though it won't bog down the story in itself) and so I'll probably only be able to give one reply a day, maybe more if I'm feeling particularly writey (that's not a word, btw. At least I don't think.)
2. Grammar is important. I understand if English ain't your first language (it ain't mine!), but if your post is full of grammar and spelling errors, we probably won't hit it off too well. I'm willing to overlook a few of them and I won't even comment on it, but don't overdo it, please!
3. It probably goes without saying, but no godmodding! I like to have my characters be mine and their actions be theirs, so it's an instant turn-off for someone else to control without my consent. If you need to have my character move or walk along for something with the scene, let me know, but don't put words in their mouth or have them act in any way that might be out of character of them. I know my characters' inner workings and you know yours, so let's respect that!
4. Alright, this next one might be a dealbreaker, but I don't think it is too much of one. No one liners! I don't like them at all, so that's one way to turn my interest away. For that matter I can write upwards of a 1000 words per reply, but that's usually in opening posts or when establishing a scenery and such. I don't expect anyone to write as much, but I do expect to be given something to work with. Don't leave pushing the story forward up to me! Don't just respond to what my characters do, have your characters do something as well!
5. For that matter, discuss, discuss, discuss! If I'm sent a message that just says "wanna rp?" or something equally as vague, don't be surprised if I don't reply. I'm used to being the one that puts out ideas, but that's mostly why I'm putting this thread up, to give some starter ideas and for you to send me a message and tell me what you like and what the ideas I give inspire in you! And if you have any ideas of your own, don't be afraid to tell me about your cravings! I don't know how to express how important this part is! If you approach me saying "well, I like this." when I ask you what you'd like, or vice versa, I'm 100% losing interest that moment. I didn't think I'd need to add this, but if you're approaching me with a single line asking me if I'm interested in something, then I most likely aren't! It's not a matter of whether or not the plot is good, it's a matter of me knowing you'll be a good partner!
6. For reference, here's a link to my f-list. Think of it as a guide; none of it, except the no's are a dealbreaker, whether they're there or not. And if it's not there, it's also probably up for discussion. There's just so much to go through in there that I can't be bothered to go through every option, so think of whatever's not there as an extra "ehhh" option.
7. I play mostly males, but I can be talked into playing females if the situation calls for it. I don't particularly favor malexmale, but I can be convinced to do it if with a good argument. For the sake of it, I play exclusively FxM and then FxF.
8. No furries. Don't hate them, just not my cup of tea.
9. I majorly prefer making my own characters than playing canon characters. My personal belief is that taking liberties with another writer's material is a bit disrespectful toward said writer, so I tend to stray away from using their characters. That's not to say I don't like using their universes and concepts, though, so don't be afraid to hit me up with that!
10. Please don't post in this thread! I'm very likely to see the post and then forget about it, so it's easier to just PM me.
11. Oh, one last thing! I was once told I'm a surprisingly blank canvas by a partner, and I think I like that. I'm not one to force my likes on another person, and am more than happy to try out new things all the time. If you're interested in trying something out, whether it's on here, or on my f-list, or not on it, let me know! I'm happy to talk things through!
And I think that's about it! I reserve the right to always come back here and edit in stuff in the future, but for now, that's all I can think about that I can add.
Some Ideas
It'd be a pretty bad request thread if I didn't at least mention some ideas I have, so let's get to that!Story-heavy:
These are stories that, as it says above, lean toward a more plot-reliant storytelling. They can, of course, still have smut and such, but it's secondary to the story and character development.
EDIT: I've currently accepted my limit of story-heavy roleplays. I'm sorry if you were interested in something of this nature, but I'd rather not risk disappointing anyone by spreading myself too thin. If you're interested in a roleplay with me, it'll probably have to be something light on the story and more based around smut.
You're a pretty average person. You go to school/work for most of the day and when that ends, you like to either crack a beer or get some cereal, and turn on your computer to play your favorite MMORPG until you get tired and roll into your bed to sleep. However, one day, you wake up in a place you don't quite recognize. For starters, you're outside, but you don't remember going outside at all. When you take a look around, you realize that's not the only thing that's gone wrong. You see a reflection of yourself... and you look exactly like your MMORPG character!
(This one's pretty free-rein. It's heavily inspired by the Overlord series, if you've ever watched or read that. Basically, our characters are stuck in a fantasy world not unlike a game, with stats and everything visible to them, but the "NPCs" are self-aware and not at all like in an RPG. There's a lot we can do with this!)

This one's more of a rough sketch than anything, but I was looking at this new anime that's been released called Goblin Slayer. In essence, it's what you would describe as your average fantasy RPG setting, with a guild of adventurers that take on quests and such. Except it's much more realistic and even goblins are a big threat to the inexperienced.

Smut-heavy
Prompts where the story may be plot-driven as well, but are more accessible for a smut-centric approach to them.
Main themes: Harem/Reverse Harem, Gangbang, (fetish galore)
In this one, who plays the harem is up for discussion, but the general idea is that one of us will play a character unrelated (or related, based on your tastes) to a family of brothers/sisters who fancy said character. Could either be that they'd pined for said character for a long time, or they've just recently come to become interested in them. Either way, they propose to the character that they engaged in a sexual relationship with them. They'd be shared among the siblings; whether they engage in sexual acts together or one at a time is all dependent on their mood.
Or... if you like a rougher, darker approach, the character could instead be coerced/forced into the relationship and turned into a plaything of sorts, to be broken and brainwashed into loving them. (Fair warning, though, I've never played as a submissive myself, so I can't vouch for my ability to do it!)

YC doesn't seem all that interested in men, so much that people actually think she might be a lesbian, or simply uninterested in sexual acts.
However, the truth is she's more debauched than even a common tavern whore. She dreams of a man that will take her, against her will or otherwise, and make her his toy... but she can't lett this side of hers out in the world lest she lose the respect she's worked so hard to gain. That's where MC comes in.
MC could be anything you want him to be. A handsome bodyguard YC keeps around all the time, and she thinks of having him serve her in more ways than his job description says. A long-time friend of hers, perhaps even a childhood friend, that she has always pined for, but never could have due to her social standing. A prince or a king from an equal or stronger country who has threatened to start war lest he's given what he wants (spoiler: it's YC). Or perhaps some lowly criminal or rival nobleman who gets dirt on her and she's forced(?) to do as he says.

A bit of a copy-paste of the plot before this one, except instead of being set in a fantasy world, it's based around a modern world where humans aren't the only race around. Humans and other humanoid species have formed a society where peace is possible, though tension still exists due to discrimination on both sides. To try and create a healthy relationship between humans and monsters, a monster is sent to live with a human for a period of time, where they must live together without conflict. If either party injures or otherwise damages the other party, they are punished.
This one's a general idea as well, but if you were interested in trying something with any sort of humanoid monster, it could lead to a lot of fun situations!
