The Long Haul - Trucker x Hitchhiker
(Modern - Road Trip Romance, Strangers to Lovers)

Muse A is a long-haul trucker; gruff, solitary, running from a divorce and alcoholism. He has a rule for himself, no hitchhikers. It's supposed to be one ride to the next truck stop. It becomes state after state, motel after motel. The two broken men slowly begin to fall into, something. Maybe it's not love. Maybe they are just using each other to feel better. At least for now.
And in the meantime, whatever Muse B is running from is still looking for him.
