She was the first woman in her world to be trained and appointed as a member of what was known as the
Black Guard. A highly skilled group of magi who were named by the monarchy to ensure balance
among their people and order for the kingdom, once a force to be reckoned with, her order was set up to fail.
A plot to protect the Queen ensured that they played their part in ensuring the fall of the
Seven - the elder council which ultimately ruled the lands. As that action sent the lands into
chaos and disorder, Addisyn still walks through life with an immeasurable sense of guilt and self-doubt.
After the fall of the country sent her into living in Sahrani, she met Damien, who
later became her husband. His untimely death as a result of an invasion caused by
political greed and infighting as embittered her to the political climate of her
world in general.

A vampire from another realm or plane of existence, he possesses abilities those of her world do not. ​	Twins who each possess different elemental magic affinities. Anastasia (left) can harness the power of fire. Eloise (right) is a water mage. The two prove incredibly useful in the affairs of the Estate. ​	A dear friend and the only female vampire she's ever known. Jordana was captured and taken as a slave after crossing Abaddon Black during an attempt for him to garner slaves. Her fate is unknown to Addisyn. ​	The ailing great grandfather of Conner Granger and Head Butler at the Ettoire Estate, "Mister Granger" is a very skilled arcane mage and pivotal in keeping the wards of the house secure. His grandson is his apprentice, learning the trade daily as it is not expected for him to live very much longer. ​

The understudy of the ward keeper and great-grandson of Ambrose Granger, Conner has been known to be trouble for the female staff of the house. His maturity has truly shone through and developed after Damien's passing and the young man has done his part to help ensure the Estate runs smoothly. ​	Missus B, the Housekeeper that no one knows much about. Addisyn doesn't even know the maternal woman's full name. The two had a rocky start, and for a long time, Addisyn felt as if she would never measure up to the woman's ideals for what the lady of the house should be. Just as many others in the house, during her time of mourning the human woman proved to be an emotional lean-to and wonderful tutor on everything she needed to know about keeping the grand Estate afloat. ​	Cordelia would happily be described as the day to Addisyn's night. She is a light mage, sun-touched, and a studying priestess of Lux, the Goddess who counter-balances Nox, the God of darkness. Affectionately named "Delia", she is currently away in the temple of Lux, located north of Sahrani in the M'Lurnian Desert. ​	Tom is Addisyn's raven familiar. He was obtained during her time training for the Black Guard, given to her as a gift as a baby corvid by her teacher and trainer Master Draven. She can understand him, and he can understand her, but it's a mysterious bond that allows this empathetic line of communication. He is a temperamental and jealous creature, but their loyalty to each other seems unwavering even if they tend to bicker.​

𝔸𝕓𝕒𝕕𝕕𝕠𝕟 𝔹𝕝𝕒𝕔𝕜	ℂ𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕤 𝔸𝕓𝕓𝕠𝕥𝕥	ℍ𝕖𝕟𝕣𝕪 𝕃𝕒𝕟𝕔𝕒𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕣	𝔸𝕣𝕔𝕙𝕞𝕖𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕣 ℝ𝕒𝕟𝕟𝕠𝕜
Lord of Shadows, one of the high priests in the Temple of Nox in Valais, the relationship between Addisyn and the highly skilled shadow priest is a sour one. Initially someone Addisyn admired and wanted to be near, he eventually took advantage of her giving nature until she wanted to pull away. Before she had completed that process, he began a new relationship with her pupil and charge, Cress Abbott.​	Once a valued friend and ally, the shadow mage Cress Abbott soon became a point of contention for Addisyn. Many rocky run-ins and hurtful arguments have left Addisyn with a serious distaste for the redhead. She has never given Addisyn a reason to trust her, despite the attempts Addisyn has made to save her life. The shift from friend to foe was solidified (for her as well as the priest) when Jordana Burton was taken captive and Cress stood up and defended Abaddon's actions. ​	The Duke of "Nothing", formerly the Duke of Valais, Henry Lancaster set upon Sahrani like a plague. His arrogance and short-sighted behavior was the cause of the deaths of many Elurans and Sahrani people alike. One, in particular, being Damien -Addisyn's late husband. His misplaced acts of violence and aggression have never been forgiven by The Widow, and she was responsible for his capture. Unfortunately, the bastard escaped. ​	A newly introduced villain in her story, much of Rannok is unknown. He has made an appearance as a high-ranking member among the followers of Nox and arrived from Temple Sarachnia. Written primarily by @Storm Crow. ​

shadow magic do the fighting for her, assisting her in defense
as well as offense during combat.
• 𝘐𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘴: - She siphons special abilities from an enchanted
great sword won during combat long ago.
• 𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘴: -Can manipulate the shadow around her, giving it physical
properties. Her magic is severely limited in mid-day sunlight if
there are not any objects to create shade or bright light cast
by magical means.
