Salutations - call me Jack for now, I'm new here, and am a 25 year old roleplayer who has been into the hobby of crafting stories and characters since I was at least 13. Generally I roleplay in fandom-worlds, but I've been trying to become more open to original ones. I'm always open to OCs, though I tend to crave writing as my favorite fictional characters.

- Fandoms -
My favorite fandoms to roleplay in are Five Night's At Freddy's (usually an AU version based on a game and novel lore mash-up), The Legend of Zelda (BOTW and TOTK ZeLink are one of my favorite pairings ever, though I'd be open to Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword or other games), and that's mainly all for now, but I'll make an update post if my catalog of fandoms grows at all.
For FNAF, I strongly prefer to play as or against William Afton. I have a vision of him I'm quite particular about that strays from canon somewhat but not too much. I like to write him from a psychological standpoint, visualize his unique reactions in under different pressures and lights, and create new situations for him. I haven't been able to write him against Clara yet, but I'd love to. I have written him against Henry, and am open to doing it again. I'm also open to writing him against ocs in the case they have a somewhat fleshed out personality, preferably someone who might make an interesting interaction against a man like William.
For Zelda - like I hinted, I'm a huge fan of BOTW-TOTK ZeLink, and would be elated to form something around them, the evolution of their relationship, and of them as people. Leaning into Zelda's acceptance of her role, the various downfalls, victories. Link slowly becoming the hero he's told he is. Them growing together. I'd be comfortable playing either character.

- My Preferences -
My writing is always going to be in third person. I write multiple paragraphs per reply, ranging. I'm okay with style differences but prefer to be similar in length, or at least descriptively I wish to find someone who writes at a length that puts details into thoughts, intentions, feelings and actions of characters as well as how they interact with their surroundings, which to me play a role in creating a sturdy environment for the roleplay.

Anywho, that's my introduction. If you find my requests intriguing, don't hesitate to send me a message or comment on this post, and we can chat further.

Welcome to Inner Sanctum, New Blood!

First and foremost; it's nice to meet you! Welcome to our home! If you haven't already, please make sure you read your welcome letter in the top right! It should be the little icon! That's where all of your future messages will end up!

( There's multiple pages to this; just click/tap the arrows! )

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! If you were looking for an open story you can just jump in straight away, you can find them in Unfinished Tales!

Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then! But, these are some of my favorites! The first shout out goes to The Sanctum Tavern! Here you can find many a thing! By the Hearth can be found there and has many wonderful discussions; my personal favorite is where everyone talks up their writing partners! Want to see some cute pets or share your own? Pets of the Sanctum is where to go! Feeling up for a challenge? Check out the Monthly Writing Challenge and give it a whirl!

And, there's so so so~ much more! Please take the time to explore!

I think that's everything... Oh! I'm Mio, by the way! Just a friendly changeling and hydration bot! You can find me and several others in Sanctum's Chat Room! If you have any questions, you can always pop in there for help! I will say though, the best people to ask are staff! Green Names are Heralds and Hot Pink Names are Virtuosos which are the best to ask questions! Blue Names are Moderators and Purple Names are the Administrators, which help with tech support and discipline! You can find out which are online via the home page! On PC it'll be to the right of the screen, and on mobile it'll be near the bottom!

Now, get out there and write! May your muses sing for you!
