Hello, I am Grunty (no, sorry, not a Banjo-Kazooii reference, I wasn't cool enough to have that for my n64, it's just a Halo reference because they're so cute!)

I am an avid writer... if lying awake at night thinking about all the cool stuff I might write counts as writing that is... and I used to do a lot of roleplay through MMOs, mostly WoW for many years, but also plenty of good ol' PnP and other forum/online mediums. I particulalry love worldbuilding when it comes to writing, and my preferred genres are sci-fi, fantasy, and romance (bonus points for all three together.) I lately have very much felt the urge to start actually writing again and to get back into some RP, and when I stumbled across this site from the wild untamed lands of Google it seemed meant to be!

So, I am here hoping to help motivate myself to write by doing some roleplay, which always got me excited to write too, or a bit of co-writing with someone possibly, as I always love adventuring/building in other people's worlds too, though I have plenty of my own ideas rattling around in my brain where other, arguably more useful stuff should probably go. I look forward to what and who I find here!
