About me:
You can call me AJ. I'm a 35 year old mostly-straight dude. I've been roleplaying for about twenty years, when I first started back in the old MSN chatroom. I like to consider myself a fun, engaging, and creative partner, and I try to invest as much time and energy in a story as I can. Like a lot of us here, writing is my passion, but I also enjoy tabletop gaming (Dungeons and Dragons 5e being my favorite but I've been gaming since the 90s so there's a lot there) and I have an obsession with painting gaming miniatures. I'm a big fan of heavy metal music, medieval history, the occult, horror movies, and true crime.
In short, I'm very much your traditional tattooed bearded dude in a black graphic t. I'm never far from a weird book, a creepy podcast, or a cup of black coffee and a cigarette.
What I'm looking for in a partner:
As far as partners go, I'm looking for a mature, fun, and engaging partner who likes to write and who I can connect with. I like making friends, hanging out and chatting online, and naturally, writing with them. I generally prefer to write with female partners, but male partners are not out of the question- I prefer male partners to write male characters, but I don't care if you, as a female partner, want to write a male in a male-on-male scenario, if that's what we're doing.
I generally like my stories to have an erotic bent, so assume if you come to me we're looking at least a 50-50 plot-to-porn ration at minimum. Writing smut is fun.
I'm a quality over quantity guy- contrary to conventional roleplaying wisdom, the ability to sputter on and on for paragraph after paragraph is not actually the mark of a good writer. On the contrary, good writing uses only as many words as it needs to. Now don't get me wrong, good writing also is you know... good writing, so I'd like you be somewhere between a Tolstoy novel and text message speak. Like a real writer, with some craft.
I generally prefer my partners to be 21+, even if the legal age is 18. I'm 35, there's no reason to be writing with teenagers. Come on, let's not be creeps.
What I'm looking for in the smexy-smexy:
So when it comes to the sexy stuff, I'm pretty open to most things. I have a couple of hard limits, but thankfully, they're mostly the stuff that's against the rules here so I theoretically don't need to worry about you wanting to rp something really creepy and gross. I jokingly refer to my "Hard No's" as the Three P's: Poop, Pets, and Pedophilia. As long as what you want isn't one of those three things, we can at least talk about it.
I tend to play as burly beardo types. If you like writing opposite masculine men with beards, scars, muscles and tattoos, I'm your guy.

So I tend to be more a "Setting and general idea" craving type than a "This is the plot I wanna do" type guy. I often get turned off by RTs that already have a complete plot planned out and the person just wants someone to drop in the rest of the details. It lacks the collaborative element that makes rping unique in writing. So, below I have some of the general ideas I like, or settings, and hopefully together, you and I can come up with something.
-High Medieval Fantasy- Inspired by Tolkien, Dungeons and Dragons, Game of Thrones, any of those kinds of settings, although I do enjoy leaning a bit on humor and wink-wink fun with it. If you've ever read the wonderful erotic webcomic Alfie, you know what I like.
-Cuckolding/Wife Sharing: Nothing I like better than a man and woman discovering their enjoyment of having other men fuck her.
-Straight Guy falls for Trans Woman/Genderfucky Person/Femme Male
-Historical Fiction: I'm good at any point between the Fall of the Roman Empire and the Renaissance, which my real area of expertise being the English Middle Ages.
