Greetings, welcome to my thread. We're all mad here, but that's half the fun! I'm Kex, a literature graduate and avid roleplayer with almost 18 years of roleplay experience under my belt. Things you'll need to know about me:
~I'm not into smut. Romance, yes. Very yes. Once things get past the covers, though, I'm not really into watching that.
~I. Love. Fantasy. High, low, medieval, magical, whatever flavor you can think of. Dragons and magic win my heart every time.
~I reply pretty much every day. If I have a multiple posts a day partner, I am happy to match your pace. However, don't feel stressed out if you're more of a once or twice a week player. I'm not the kind to message people asking when they are going to reply.
~World building and OOC talk is important to me. I want to know if my partner isn't feeling the plot so we can make adjustments!
~I try to match the post length of my partner. I generally start with a pretty hefty opening post and then give at least as much as I get. 4-5 paragraphs make me happy, but at least 1-2 would be fine. I lose interest very quickly with one liners.
~I'm comfortable playing both male and female characters equally. I'm good with MxF or MxM.
And now the part I'm sure you all actually came for. The ideas!

Like a Phoenix (Most wanted!)
After the death of his abusive father, Aiden could no longer afford to keep the family ranch running. Through a series of events involving a past lover and a lot of work, he now finds himself attending his first day of classes at a prestigious magical university for the affluent. As a shy, lower class cowboy on the spectrum, he needs to find a way to navigate this completely unfamiliar territory. Will your character help him make his way in this world, or will they make his life harder?
~Aiden is Bi, and you are welcome to play either a male or female character if you wish for romance~
Hi, My Name is Romeo
Your character and my character have accompanied their parents to a leadership summit. On neutral ground, these two leaders of super powerful countries are forced to at least pretend they can get along (at least for a few days.) Bored, less than thrilled to be here, and with deeply ingrained hatred burning in their hearts, our characters find themselves catching each others' eyes across the table. Can they overcome the fact that their countries have been at war for generations and learn to cope with their attraction? And if they do, how will they keep their romance a secret?
Flyte
Salem never thought he'd find himself standing in the hallowed halls of the dragon flytes, but here he was with the top dragon riders in the land standing before him. The group of twelve would become his new family, and soon they'll be riders themselves. The training is hard, the eggs are hatching any day, and something isn't right on the horizon. Will our characters have enough time to learn from the masters before they are tossed out to fend for themselves?
Isle of Trouble (Pokemon)
Just days after becoming a well-known Pokemon trainer, you've received a letter via Dragonite mail with an odd request. "Greetings,
My name is Matthias, former Champion of the Hoenn region. This letter comes to you to request your assistance with a matter of great importance. I have reached out to many high ranking trainers to form a party in hopes of solving this issue. Excuse my lack of details; this is not a matter we wish to spread abroad should this letter arrive in the wrong hands. If I've at least piqued your curiosity, please meet my son, myself, and any other interested trainers at the Lilycove Pokemon Center next Wednesday. There I will explain the situation and you may choose to join us or not."
Here you are, sitting in the Pokemon Center with a crowd of other strangers. This mysterious Matthias should arrive any moment and the adventure will begin.
