hello fellow writers

i'm a refuge here from [embarrassing non-rp website]. i've been rp-ing on and off for nearly a decade on there along with other similar rp platforms. i came across writerssanctum after seeing it mentioned on another site, and i'm looking forward to writing with you guys

i go by candy online, and i just turned 22. i typically exclusively only write lgbtq+ pairings (specifically mxm, trans inclusive). heterosexual pairings don't really pique my interest (unless they're some form of fxmxf polyamory)

i enjoy writing characters that are real, obsessive freaks of nature. i mean, my icon is literally ivan from alnst, so i think that's pretty obvious already lol

i write best with people who align themselves with the term "lazy lit", since i, myself, am a descriptive writer who loves detailing how my oc is reacting to yours/the environment. the length of my replies fluctuates on how interaction-heavy the scene is, or how much i have to work with at the moment

apart from writing romance rps, i spend my free time gaming. it's one of my newer hobbies. i just finished both of the tlou games, and seriously don't know what to do with myself anymore. i might start rdr2, but really, i think i'll just go back and replay both of them lol. i love joel, i love ellie, and i love abby—i love the anger in them, and how it presents in entirely different ways

anyways that's enough yapping about me. if you made this far, i'd love to know about you too! please do tell me your favourite books

the last book i read was a trashy mxm age gap one i saw someone recommend on reddit. the prose isn't anything to write home about, but the characters and dialogue is really witty and interesting, which is mainly why i'm sticking through it, haha

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
