Original Characters and Story-lines Only!


I hate whimsical and mischievous storytelling, so I'm looking for more realistic and honest plots. The kind that only you sympathize with and understand. It's better to write about what you know, than what you don't. This doesn't mean it can't be exciting or have slice of life moments, but only capable of being uncommonly brutal or mournful, WITH the hope that things will turn out in a better conclusion. I'm also asking for occasional scenes where you can be silent, or introspective for internal dialogue. With interesting dilemmas and sometimes even nonchalant scenarios. I’m under the firm belief that you can best embody who you are in real life. If you characters do not reflect who you are, then they will be shallow replicas that have no background and don't belong anywhere. This isn't me trying to get personal, this is me just understanding the depth of reading and writing.

About me: I'm a 27 year old man. Single. I work a full time job as a Facilities Manager. I have interests in entertainment theory. Particularly regarding it being distracting, the affects of it on the mind, how it reflects human desires and where/how art comes into play. Which is one of the reasons why I'm here. Another is to just get away.

To address the title. I have a bit of experience with roleplaying. Dabbled in it, so to say. I've learned to drive the plane on-ground, I know the controls, but haven't exactly taken off yet. I'm kinda looking for someone to take the risk and fly with me, and maybe teach me a thing or two. I'm willing to learn under you if we have some of the same preferences.

• Multiple Characters: Yes
  I believe multiple character casting is required by most story-lines. If I wrote the plot, I can set the tone for you by acting with multiple characters, because I can easily get behind my own writings. However, if the setting involves solitude, then it's not needed. 'If the plot says so' (i.e. We’re alone in a high-end, crewless, self-maintaining spaceship.)
• Response Timing: Varies
  30 Minute to 1 week. Depending on preferences and scenario. I have a conundrum. In one way, writing too much can mean overstepping on someones role. Writing too little leaves lots to the imagination. And it's not shared imagination.
• Gender Pairings: MxF
  I will only pair with females playing females. I'm straight and it's more surreal that way.
• Face Claims: No
  I hate the idea of face claims, but I'm willing to use actors if you can't live without them and I'm drawn toward your writing style.
• Smut: Yes
  I want to allow for smut, only in moderation. 20/80 to 50/50. The more restrain, the better.
  
  
  Spoiler: A Vampires Patronage

  A young woman [YC] received a note as an invitation to a formal gathering, along with a dozen other men and women called ‘benefactors,’ all from the same city as you. At this gathering is a great palace, the house of Colsanna. A human butler greeted them and gave a speech. He spoke formally and requested for the benefactors to consider serving a customary faction of vampires. This faction believed that vampires and humans should live as equals. This faction was known-of throughout the world, yet some of the benefactors were still skeptical. Some doubted the safety of this request, even in the presence of a human. However, the butler also spoke of certain fulfillment's. He said that they may receive either a small fortune, vampirism, property, or another wish in their related affairs. This butler also assured that the benefactors would be protected, royally housed, and well fed. This was only if they had continued to follow through with providing their services. [YC] was just as hesitant as the rest and wouldn’t have considered this offer if a close friend of hers hadn’t been a vampire that died to an opposing faction.
  
  The clan believes that vampires and humans are equals, and that they should unify, as vampires cannot live without the blood of humans. And if humankind were to go extinct, there would be less means of survival for vampirism. However, just because they are equal, it does not intervene on the formalities around status and dignity. A human and vampire may serve as equals to another lord. A vampire would exercise their power to see in the night, just as a man having his own right to stand in the sun.
  
  [YC] is a benefactress that has accepted to serve and provide provisioned blood. But she finds it’s an ancient vampire that is to be revitalized at the ceremony of a pure blood. [YC] learn this ceremony is a private ancient tradition in which all leaders of the provident clan gather to witness the revitalization of a pure-blood. To pour untapped blood upon their burial capsule and resurrect them into the current century.
  
  There are to be six benefactors who stay after the butler’s speech, all of a rare blood type, three of which are female, and the other three, male. The ancient will then approach the benefactors and select three of the six purely based on scent to be chosen as provisioned blood. These three will remain while the other three are to be given what they have requested as compensation for their self-offering. The three benefactors who remain as provisioned blood will act out as intended for a certain timeline, until which they will be recompensed like the first three benefactors.
  
  
  Spoiler: An Invaluable Slave

  Master Beckett (Mc) Is a widower as of 3 years ago. His estate and staff are funded by several businesses. The main one of which is his trade and distribution in platinum. He was once a general in the army of Catalie, his lifestyle and regimen still carries habits of strict workouts and self-preservation, but some of his habits waned ever since his wife’s passing.
  
  It was an evening when a colleague of his suggested he buy himself a slave for... rather quality of life purposes. He was avidly against it, considering he had seen how poorly slaves had been treated in the line of his service. However, he also realized that he didn't need to follow suit, that he could decide for himself how he would care for his own slave. It was the thought that still made him feel guilty, but one that he didn't let go of... It was an idea of comfort, taking care of a slave, and being taken care of.
  
  (MC) He decided that if he were to buy a slave, he would do it properly, and he would do it with at least a modicum of modesty and dignity, as much as one could have in the respect of owning another person. So, he did research and bought several books. One he was particularly fond of was 'A Quaint Life for a Slave'. Teaching on the responsibilities and the needs on slave ownership with some additive respect and care. But he also never failed to understand that he, himself could have been a slave too. He decides it's no different than giving shelter, providing food, stating boundaries and chores.
  
  When he finally bought Her (YC). He happened to examine her and found her mark. A wishbone birth scar behind her right ear, glimmering in the light; Only seen on 2 nights of every month. Signifying she is an extremely rare and coveted race. Knowing many people would kill to obtain a slave such as her, he assumed that the slave house overlooked her mark, and would not have sold her to him if they were aware. He knew she needed protection, lest be captured, treated as a trophy to be expended or defiled.
