He was trained and excelled at the martial arts so it wasn't long before he took the mantle of Templar Knight. With the coming of the Templar-Mage war he travelled to the Free Marches for a few years before being reassigned to Orlais. Recently he has been made an agent assigned to track down rogue mages and either return them to the circle or else.

Personality: Nova is the unsuspecting sort and she usually keeps to herself. She's usually quite focused though she sometimes falls to reckless acts of unpredictability which seems unusual at times. She's always had issues with authority figures, a gift of independence she received form her mother. She's kind and genuine though at times she can be sarcastic to the point of annoyance and she has a short temper.
Background: Novaline's mother was a musician and a talented one at that though she never made it big as some do. She played in the city, from club to club. She was a beautiful woman and it was no wonder Nova's father fell in love with her. A few years after Nova was born her mother disappeared. While there was no reason to suspect foul play both Novaline and her father knew their mother would never have just left, but left they had been.
Her upbringing was rather normal, and she always did rather well in school, but it was in sports and athleticism that she truly excelled, and she was a decent singer herself. After she graduated she took a year to tour the country a bit before returning to live with her father and decide on where she should attend college. Before she could decide Fate intervened.
It had started as a beautiful day. Her father had taken her to a museum and together they'd had a wonderful time but as they left dark clouds had covered what had been clear blue skies. Then the rain fell, an unearthly driving rain. The roads were instantly slippery with localized flooding and hydroplaning being suddenly common. It was a surreal moment, other worldly even. Then she saw it… Her eyes had deceived her as a large winged creature was before them. It seemed like something directly out of hell.
Her father lost control of the vehicle and collided with another and that was the beginning of what ended up being a many vehicle accident with many fatalities, including nova's father. Their car had been smashed to bits, her father's body torn to pieces but somehow when the EMTs found her she was unconscious but she bore not even a scratch. Some claimed it was a miracle that she was even alive.
She woke up in the hospital two days later and two days after that the Hospital had no choice but to release her. Novaline Sparx had changed the day of the accident and she would never be the same again.
