To whomever is reading this request,
Won't you join me in some lighter roleplay focused on magic and silliness?
Inspired by the use of the English ballad "Scarborough Fair" in the Wicked book series by Nancy Holder and Debbi Viguie, I would like to get back into the groove of things by writing between 2 magical beings asking impossible tasks of each other.
Our exchanges would be from the point of view of each of our respective characters as they either complete the task or are creating a new task. As the tasks are completed, the next becomes more personal, possibly leading to romance.
Perhaps my character may be a siren so that I may you use the line:
'Tell him to buy me an acre of land,
Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme;
Between the salt water and the sea sand,
Then he shall be a true lover of mine.'
We exchange messages in bottles in a game. of seduction and resistance.
The varying versions of the songs available on Spotify have haunted me all week and this is what I wish to write about.
