I've been reading this excellent fanfiction about dragons and my brain decided to get inspired by it, so here I am, placing down a humble request for anyone that might be interested.

THE GIST :
Our characters are dragons of high status from either different Clans or opposing fractions and are arranged by either their parents or their higher ups to mate and be married. Neither is thrilled about said arrangement and their first meeting isn't without its hiccups, as MC is upset and borderline rude to YC. The point of the story is a slow burn between our characters, with actual romance blooming by the time they're required to mate for the first time.

• The mating will be consensual, because by the time that happens, our characters will be developing feelings for each other.​
• The main focus of the story will be the slow burn between our characters and the political drama happening around them and how it affects them.​
• Any smut will probably be end-game content and definitely not the focus of the story.​
• There will be strong omegaverse-like themes within this story, due to our characters being dragons.​
• I'd like to write the "omega" counterpart, but don't expect some pliable and super submissive character. He can and will bite. Regarding the eventual smut scene, we can discuss exactly how that plays, so it's not boring for either of us.​
• MC will come from this rigid, very by the rules kind of Clan, while yours can be more carefree and can even be lowkey a barbarian.​

I'm looking to write this either with a set of original characters within an original / high fantasy universe, or with two canon characters of our preference. I will list a few pairings I find interesting and think they would suit this AU, but I'm open to discussing others, if you have them in mind. My only requirement, when it comes to canon characters is that I'm familiar with the source content. Otherwise, you may be disappointed by how I write the character you crave to write against. Bold will be my character. Asterisks are the favourite options.​

Those are just from the top of my head, I'd love to hear your suggestions ! We can also discuss CCxOC dynamics with my Canon characters, even though it's not something I go for very often.

Although I'm open to discussing different cultural backdrops for a potential original pairing, my favourites are a Victorian-based universe or an Ancient China-based universe.

LASTLY, WRITER INFO & REQUIREMENTS :

• I value OOC communication before and during the roleplay. I like to share headcanons, ideas and also make sure we're both comfortable during the writing phase. If anything at all bothers you while we're writing, you should send me a message, so we can discuss it and find a solution together.
• Third person / past tense. Paragraph form.
• I post once a week, at least. More frequently, if possible. If I need more time, I will let you know beforehand. I don't mind if you take your time with replies either.
• My posts are minimum 250 words, but I prefer posts that are about 500-700 words. Quality over quantity, of course. But I don't want to receive one-liners because they don't give me much to work with.
• My limits, regarding smut and story elements are : anything taboo, ageplay, incest, rape / noncon, feet, lack of hygiene, bodily fluids and bathroom kinks.
• Although the smutty part will be end-game, I'd like to actually write it out, so I won't do fade to black.
• If we write fandom-based, our characters will be 18+ at all times.
• Ghost friendly, but I'd appreciate a heads up, so I don't sit back and wait if you happen to not want to write this story anymore.
• Will only do animated faceclaims for this story.
• I'm not a fan of AI generated faceclaims, so I'd appreciated if we could use human-made artwork.
• The roleplay will be strictly MxM.
• Your OOC gender is of no concern to me, if you can write a male, alpha-like character.
• This is a fantasy / historical setting roleplay, so I won't do modern or slice of life settings.
