Hey y'all! Thought I'd post some of my stray character sheets around here. They're all for tabletop games, at least for now.

The character sheet template I use is yoinked from Nyx, I really like it. Helps work out all the nice little character details.

[FAMILY]

Little contact since she was removed from Sanctum Lys, at the age of 9. Parents were harsh, and distant.

[BACKGROUND]

Born on Sanctum Lys, the daughter of a low-ranking Adeptus Ministorum worker, her life was a rigorous one, filled with twice-daily church sessions, the notion of how fortunate she was to be born onto a shrine world as great as Lys was instilled in her. Vylia's early life was harsh, being put to work on farms from an early age. However, she did not stay on Lys for long, as at the age of 10, her first manifestation of powers began to show – brief, confusing flashes of the future, appearing at seemingly random moments. Almost immediately, she knew that this was far from ordinary, and turned herself into her local church, before talking with even her father.

To mark her forever as a witch-mind, she was branded with the symbol of the Order of the Martyred Lady, a skull sitting atop a cross. Though it was a moment of incredible pain, she bore it in the name of the Empire and Saint Katherine, a constant warning that her powers were incredibly dangerous, a must be used for the good of the Emperor.

Even on the Black Ship, the sheer terror did not overwhelm her utter and complete faith in the emperor. She prayed near constantly, even surrounded by the utter darkness, and stifling fear permeating through the ship. Her devotion alone set her aside from most other Psykers, and her divination powers appeared promising, making her a prime candidate for soul-bonding, despite her young age. Even as countless thousands were led to their deaths, she was taken aside, and prepared for the ritual of soulbinding.

The intense months of fasting, prayer, and ritual preparation only furthered her utter and complete faith in the emperor, preparing her for the binding. To say that the Soul Bonding was harsh on her young body was an understatement. Her eyes were turned a milky white, her sight taken away from her. The pain, the mental strain, the fragments of knowledge rushing through her head – it was almost too much for her. Whether it was through sheer willpower, faith, or some combination of the two, she survived, her training as an astropath commencing.

She struggled with her training, constantly holding herself back in fear of hurting those around her, the brand given to her by the Church proof of that. It was only when her trainer introduced her to the Imperial Tarot that she began to further her powers. The tarot provided something solid to grasp, a solid, miniscule manifestation of the Emperor's divine powers. The battered deck was almost always found on her person, and helped her greatly to focus her powers. No longer did she worry about harming someone, not with a small fragment of the emperor's power in her own hands. `

Due to her inexperience, and relatively limited powers, she was assigned to the <Cyberpunk place Name here> to work under the Arch Magos Augustus Rackham. The adjustment was a harsh one, at first – she was given the finest luxuries possible, from real, juicy meat, a treat she had never once had, to fine clothing, and bedding. She had access to a wide array of dataslates, seemingly covering every topic under the suns. No longer did she have any true master – she was her own. The Arch Magos called on her from time to time, and relied on her to contact the wider Imperium, but she was given free time aplenty. At first, she tried to talk with the tech priests – but they were hardly adept at conversation, and had little of interest to say. Occasionally, she would encounter a mechanius worker who wasn't a fool, but such people were beneath her.

Over the years spent on <Planet name>, the dreams that had marked her as a Psyker as a small child came back. At first, they were mere flashes, hard to make head or tail of. But as the years went by, the dreams became longer, clearer. Flashes of strong warp energy – extreme suffering, pure happiness. Battles, rapes, murders, cult activity – some long past, some far into the future, some present day. She told no one, afraid of what it might mean. She watched, she waited, witnessing such debauchery, such carnage, than few others, even in the imperium. It was all she could do. Watch. The events could have happened as she slept, been long since past, or happened tens of years in the future – it was impossible to tell.

On the station, elevated above all else, she couldn't impact any. Until the opportunity presented itself – A small group, claiming sanctuary with the Arch Magos, investigating the strange, and brutal murders of the Arch Magos's acolytes.
