Aster Darkgarden has been a life-long lover of all things that flower and bloom. She has extensive knowledge of horticulture, and is a skilled apothecary. By virtue of good fortune and timing, she has found herself to be a part of a small, tightly knit circle of contemporaries with similar interests in vastly divergent branches. She is always good natured, slow to anger, and fiercely loyal of her friends. She is also extremely protective of the newly formed Midnight Garden, and the success of their founding mission weighs heavily on her mind. Despite this, she remains positive and cheerful.

From a very young age, Aster has always had an affinity for plants and a sort of 'second sense' when it came to determining what was wrong with them (or what was making them grow well). As such, she always had plants growing in her home, and was able to start her business at a young age selling rare flowers. This caught the eye of Saphielle Valynn, who took an interest in the young tiefling's education. They have been fast friends for almost ten years, and while Saphielle believes that there is no greater master in Tethis, Aster constantly believes that there will always be more to learn.
