Atolian was raised as the heir of the Magician's Tower of the Partholon Forest, one of multiple children, but the only to show great magical powers that were a match to his Father's, and as he grew older, it was quickly realized that his talents would surpass those of his family and peers, making it so many chose to outcast him from friend groups, and adventuring parties, as it was seen that while he would be an advantage to have around, it was more of a risk to offend him due to his family ties. As a child one of the few friends he was able to make was the daughter of the Temple's saint, Hanaki who had grown up in a very similar position, much smarter than those around them, and from a family that would cause awe and curiosity, but also cause many to avoid them due to fear and misunderstanding.
Atolian is the youngest to ever be given the position of Head Magician of the Partholon Forest's Magic Tower, which causes him to be scorned by other magician's at time, as they assume he was only given the position due to his family rather than his own dedication and skill. Many are not aware of the time he spent as a child studying, and mastering his skills, while he did have a natural gift in terms of Water, Wind and Spirit magic, but a majority of his skills were gained with sweat and tears of a young child being pushed by his father to accel and become a leader.
As an adult, Atolian took over the Magician's tower, and spends a great deal of time researching herbology, and spirits within the Forest of Partholon , due to his upbringing he prefers to make himself appear haughty, and confident, which tends to keep a majority of other high ranking spirits away from him, causing Atolian to mostly spend his time in isolation, or with his friend Hanaki as they tend to study spirit magic, and herbalism together to better their skills and keep the spirit's within the forest safe. While his personality is out-going on the outside, Atolian much prefers to close himself off in his office and library to read and handle tower documents and requests, however when he does leave the tower, it is typically to handle monster subjugation, or to collect herbs needed for potion making.
Romantically, Atolian has never truly shown interest in any other men, or women within the forest, pushing away most other people due to concern of them trying to covet his position, or use him solely for his skills. On the other hand, he does not tend to give many chances to others to meet him as he spends most of his time locked away on his own. He tends to try and put forward an appearance of confidence, coming forward almost as flirtatious if he is trying to make someone else like him, but it can oftentimes do the opposite, which is why he typically chooses to try and not make new friends. He would be considered a seke or a switch, but would most likely be an uke, unless he became very comfortable with someone and was given the chance to be a seme, but it is much more likely that he would eventually submit to another once he is either forced to, or becomes comfortable enough that it happens naturally.
♡ Reading and Studying, Ancient Magic and Herbalism in particular.
♡ Adventuring with those he is close to, and spending time in nature.
♡ Practicing Magic, he is a high level mage who specializes in Water, Wind and Illusion magic, and has always loved creating visual magic to tell stories.
♡ Stargazing, since he was a child, he spent a lot of time on his own, and as a bird spirit specialized in wind magic, he spends many hours up in the trees, or at the top of the tower, gazing at the night sky.
♡ Cooking, and trying new food, especially sweets, Atolian is a glutton for cakes and sweet items, but would never admit to it.
✕ Social Events / Balls, as the head of the Magician's tower, he is expected to attend most royal events, however he spend a majority of his time at these events avoiding long conversation with other nobles.
✕ Overly Friendly or Chatty Individuals, since Atolian is oftentimes quite busy in terms of paperwork, or studying, he tends to avoid others who may try to covet too much of his time, as he tends to be quite picky on who or what he gives his spare time and attention.
✕ Cats / Cat Hybrids, Since he is a bird spirit, he tends to have a natural deterrence towards cats, as well as a child, he oftentimes was bullied by those bigger than him, and the wild cat spirits had a tendency to pick on, and try to harm those of smaller species within the forest.
♡ Typical Outfit/Appearance: Atolian typically is adorned casually in the colors of the Blue Bird Family, which would be purple and blues, he tends to appear a bit disheveled as he spends day and night within his office doing paperwork and research work. He has blue and purple feathers upon the sides of his head covering his ears, which is a common trait of the Blue Bird spirits. His most common outfit is a white best, with a dark purple ribbon tie which is clipped with an light purple amethyst heart shaped brooch which was handed down to him by his Mother prior to her passing, along with his Father's Magic Tower Tassel which proves his position within the tower. Otherwise he tends to wear a gradient light blue and purple coat, and dark purple trousers, while his outfit changes from time to time, it typically would either be a more casual outfit, adventuring gear, or more noble wear that would be only really worn when he is forced to attend balls, or official events within the capital.
♡ Weapon: Atolian's staff is a wind based magic staff that has a purple amethyst core surrounded by large blue feathers that always seem to have wind rippling through them, the staff is around Atolian's height, and is surprisingly light. It aids in channeling magic easier, and can be used as a offensive weapon if needed as well, as it is much sturdier than it appears. The staff has been handed down from leader to leader of the Magician's tower, and it shows their capability and right to lead the Magician's tower.
♡ Specialization in Wind, Water, and Illusion/Spirit Magic: Atolian has always had a natural draw towards wind, especially as a bird spirit, he has always wanted to spend time in the treetops, as well as has listened to the noises within the forest being carried through the wind, these instincts has aided him in mastering the wind elemental spells, and once he learned to master the wind element, he quickly followed with water, which is known as the lifeforce of their forest, as it waters the trees and plants, and is the home to many types of fish and other creatures that feeds many of their tribes. Atolian was one of the few to master Illusion and Spirit Magic after his friend Hanaki, who is a big reason in why he started to learn the art, and she aided him in the final steps of mastering the art, minus the spells that could only be learned by the priest and priestesses.
♡ Herbology and Potion Making: As Atolian was raised in the forest, and befriended the Spirit Priestess Hanaki, they spent a large chunk of their childhood reading books, and learning about the plants they would find around the forest, and as their curiosity grew, they quickly learned how to use the plants they were finding, both in terms of creating potions, and cooking, which are both quite helpful when they are out adventuring, or subjugating monsters within the forest together.
♡ Hanaki: Hanaki is the Spirit Priestess of Patholon Forest who was raised in a very similar setting, causing it to be very difficult for her to make friends as well, many of the children around their age avoided her due to the fear of offending someone of higher rank, however since Atolian frequented the temple with his Father a lot, he eventually met and grew a friendship with Hanaki. Atolian has the absolute opposite personality than Hanaki, as he is quite flirtatious and sarcastic in public, even with those he recently met, as he learned this behavior from his siblings, and thinks it will be easier to deal with others if he comes across as flamboyant rather than dull and icy as he usually would. This can be both helpful, and problematic when they are out adventuring, as it can either aid in fixing a problem, or making it much worse by offending the wrong party.
