Write a Story About Beating the Heat

I have a question, how long does it have to be? Is it a short story? Something around 5-10k? Or...?

This is my first time doing the challenge, I don't really know how this works 😅

I don't think that there is a word count limit but if you need to post more than once, use the same thread to do so. I'd say, post to your heart's content.

This is will be my first time, as well, so good luck to you! 💖
 
No maximum, no minimum. Our only request is "try to be reasonable", since the hope is for people to read all the entries before voting
 
Beating the Heat, eh? Time to write an ode to my favorite NBA Finals, where another chapter was added to the legend of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobli, Tony Parker, Kawhi Leonard...

Oh. You probably don't mean the team, huh? 😛
 
So I have a quick question. Would one be able to post their written entry on other sites after the contest's conclusion (like on Pixiv or Scribblehub for example) or is it meant to be exclusive to here and can't be posted elsewhere during or after the contest, even if said contest isn't mentioned.
