Hi,
Online, I go by the alias Avianna, and it's nice to meet you all. A little backstory on me and how I started roleplaying is that, originally my roleplay journey began when I was in middle school when I joined a website by the name of Stardoll. Traditionally, the website was very girly, an array of different color of pinks decorated the website which mainly consisted of dress up and interior design games. But, when I was in 6th grade, I stumbled upon a hidden feature which was the 'Groups' portion of the site, where I joined a roleplay called Supernatural High. I was filled with glee, because I've always loved to write, and I saw this as an opportunity to spread my creativity through writing with others.
Boy, when I tell you my parents were opposed to my roleplaying. Not because I was posting inappropriate or sexually explicit content in my roleplays, but, because one of my characters was a werewolf whom displayed very violent characteristics. My parents ultimately banned me from using a Stardoll when they read a fight scene I'd written with another member, but even then I would sneak online while they were working to roleplay, and clear my history once done. This, of course, was before I was given my cellphone.
I remained on Stardoll for my entire middle school career, until the 8th grade when a friend of mine suggested a site to me by the name of Quotev. As I got into that site more and more, I slowly began leaving Stardoll alone. Soon, I was deep in Quotev roleplay, even creating my own group, Quotever's High, which ran for one year and several months, with 40+ members before ending. After which, I began doing primary 1x1 roleplays due to the fact that Quotev was slowly going into a downward spiral in its roleplay department. Due to this, I began searching for a new community of role players to join and create amazing stories with & even budding friendships.
A mini background on me personally is that I'm 18 years old, and completing my senior year in high school this May. I was born in a beautiful small island country by the name of Haiti, but relocated to America when I was four years old. I've been writing ever since I could pick up a pencil, I don't know, I've just always had a knack for it. I've also participated in various sports: basketball in the 7th—8th grade, Tennis 5th—7th grade and Football just got fun with my 2 older brothers and their friends in our backyard.
