Greetings and Salutations! My name is Ayli, and it's lovely to meet you!
About Me:
I'm 23 years old, and I've been roleplaying for over a decade! Since that time a lot has changed, but I'm still a dorky fantasy writer at heart. I love to write tales with magic and ancient artifacts and kingdoms and such like that. I never really grew out of my D&D phase! I occasionally write modern or other genres, but only if its a plot that really hooks me! I tend to write 2-3 paragraphs per post, though I often write more if my partner does as well. The exception is starter posts where I tend to write a whole bunch to really set the scene! I tend to post around once every day or two, though with my current schedule it can be a bit sporadic admittedly! I'll let you know if I'm going to go more than a day or two without a post.
I tend to prefer my stories on the more lighthearted side, but I don't mind dipping into darker topics or blood/viscera for a scene if it calls for it or adds to the story. I also tend to like some smut in my stories. Probably around 10-25% or so? I want it to be a nice accent to the plot instead of the main driving force behind it. I tend to write all sorts of characters, from Male, to Female to F+, depending on the story and the mood I'm in, preferring Male and F+ for stories that involve smut. I do like writing characters with magic specifically to spice things up in the bedchambers, but we can discuss that more in private! My hard limits include excessive gore, vore, and watersports.

Two years ago, Adaire retired from their life as a royal magician. He was well known, and quite popular with the court, earning the favor of the king and queen alike for their services to the country. He had started as a simple adventurer, but over the years had proved himself a formidable ally to the kingdom. Despite their relative young age compared to most wizards and witches, they commanded power enough to dissuade attacks from any potential rival kingdoms. One day however, Adaire simply disappeared. All he left behind was a single small letter, informing the court know that they left of their own free will, and to not look for them. They searched regardless, but found no traces of the expert mage. Only his closest friends, his prior traveling companions knew where he had hidden himself, and why he had chosen to vanish
Two years would pass before the Adaire was contacted again by an old friend, Danved. They wanted their assistance busting a slave ring, and for once, the crotchety mage agreed to leave their old hovel to assist their old friend. Its during the raid that Adaire notices a strange aura radiating from one of the slaves. His curiosity is piqued, and before they can offer a word of protest, he drags them along with Danved back to his hovel to study them. While his initial intent was to study the poor thing, then send it back with Danved, he finds himself unable to solve the mystery radiating from the slave... and days turn into weeks as they begin to live together.
(I would be comfortable writing this plot from either perspective, and I would be more than happy if you changed details about the retired mage to suit your fancy, be that their gender or backstory, so long as the basic plot remains the same!)

Goldoan society was always strange. That was the general sentiment in the continent of Amravel. Kingdoms had risen and fallen over the course of centuries, yet Goldoa stood proudly along the mountainous southern border of the continent. All who dared to trespass upon their lands were turned away, and any armies that dared lay claim to Goldoan territory were routed near instantly. The few witnesses that survived recounted men and women who turned into dragons, that tore them apart with ease and burned them alive.
It was for those reasons that as civilizations rose and fell, most learned to mind their business and stay away from Goldoa, as the dragonkin themselves did not venture into politics themselves, and remained entirely neutral. That was until a declaration was sent out to the nearest neighboring kingdom. A royal emissary from Goldoa would be visiting the capital— The youngest princess of the royal family. While they know not what this means, the kingdom prepares its finest foods and arts. After all, there would be no more powerful ally to have than Goldoa itself. And of course, their own princess would be attending too, with the goal of swooning and persuading the Goldoan royal... Though whether they want to or not is up to them.
