Hello there, I took a small break from writing and the sanctum in general back in May. I'm by no means experienced, having only about 5 months of role playing under my belt. But I did enjoy it immensely when I was writing. I am looking to fill the little free time that I have with new stories.
Name is Max, I'm from Canada, French is my first language but I do consider myself somewhat fluent in English as well. I work two jobs and am my own boss in both, so my writing schedule may vary, but it's always reasonable enough for me to reply daily, at the very least once a day.
As for what I like to dabble with, any slice of life/ realistic plot is a winner. Romance in general. sci-fi, apocalyptic vibes, sports.
I'm someone that's pretty descriptive in my writing, so my replies tend to be a bit on the longer side. 700-1.5k words. I don't expect my partner to match that but I do prefer a reply with about 400+ words. Full transparency here, I've tried doing short replies of 200-400 words and it's just not for me, I get uninterested very fast and feel like I don't have enough content to go on with. My schedule may vary, sometimes work can get extra spicy and I may have to take a few days off, but generally I will have at the very least one reply a day. I expect the same but am the first to understand that, life does happen and it is what it is. Good communication is key, OOC dm's are perfectly fine with me but I rather keep it to a minimum when it comes to planning out the story. ( in my opinion, the stories flow so much better when little to no planning is done and the spontaneous replies are just usually better)
I don't have a gore limit, neither am I specifically interested in it, if it's something that interests you, simply let me know beforehand and we can discuss on how to implement it in our story.
I don't mind writing smutt, but I'm also not craving it by any means. I much rather go with the flow instead of pushing it. If it feels right, then it's welcomed of course. But I refuse to write strictly sexual content with no plot. My ideal plot to smutt ratio would be 70/30.
As for kinks/limits. I don't really have a list prepared, like I said, I much prefer going with the flow and feeling out what works. Having said that, nothing bathroom related or extreme will be tolerated. I'm pretty easy going for the rest.
I've never done fandoms, not sure I'm interested in trying it but could be open to the idea if it's something you really want and if the subject in question is interesting to me of course.
As for my pairing ideas, these are a few that I thought of, will be adding more this weekend or when a good one crosses my mind.
Star Wars theme: Either a Jedi / Sith or Jedi/ Politican love story.
Apocalyptic: strangers relying on each other to survive during these crazy times.
Sports: soccer trainer gets a tad too close with one of the girls he is coaching.
Spice of life/Romantic: your best friend's little sister is all grown up and is showing interest, how much of a good friend will you be.
Spice of life/ Romantic: A hotel receptionist working nights is getting hit on by one of the regular clients staying at his hotel. Will she get him fired or will he resist her advances.
