Any Baxter's Craving (MxF or FxF)

I don't often post request threads, but I find myself with a craving.

I'd like to write a very competent lady in a bad situation.

I've done this in a few different genres. In a Space Fantasy campaign, I wrote a security officer who was captured by the space barbarian warlord who wanted to break her as one of his new slaves. I wrote a fantasy adventurer who ran afoul of a nefarious necromancer. I wrote a vampire hunter who became the prey.

I'm open to all sorts of different spins on this theme and would prefer to come up with the actual scenario with a writing partner.

I'm happy to write against men and women. I'm happy to put my character up against humans, aliens, monsters, whatever of whatever gender.

Another pairing that just popped into my head.

A vampire (YC), for whatever reasons we decide, has decided that my character, a skeptical hematologist should become a vampire. And it's the classic, Stoker style vampirism where the victim is visited over multiple nights, slowly being drained until they pass. I'd write a male or female character for this one.
