I don't remember the exact year when I started role playing on forums, but I know it was in the 1990's. Needless to say, I've been around the block a time or twelve. So, a bit about me!

As my profile thingy says, I live in Sweden, but I speak/write English fluently because I grew up in the US. I write stories as well as Long-form RPs (used to be called pararp, back in the day), where posts consist of at least 1 paragraph(preferably more than one), with proper grammar, spelling, etc. Of course, minor errors are perfectly ok.

I tend towards unset world's, rather than fandoms, due to the freedom it gives me and other rpers/writers to express my-/ourselves without having to worry about keeping within the bounds of preset worlds, dialogue styles, etc.

Not sure what else to say, but I'm happy to answer questions!

I tend towards fantasy, sci-fantasy or sci-fi (tho usually not super hard sci-fi). I like medieval settings, but also futuristic. I don't do much in modern times.

I love Star Trek actually, as well as Star Trek, because I was raised with them. But yes, something like that is right in my wheelhouse.
