Hello everyone! My name is Chaya (my website avatar is named Ciela Azure) and I'm pleased to make your acquaintance!

I'm a preschool teacher, published novelist and online voice actress that draws inspiration from roleplaying! I've done roleplaying, one way or another, since I first joined the Internet all the way back in 2012, so let's just say I have experience. Often my book muses come from characters created for the sake of roleplaying, and even online series I have directed have scripts based in silly roleplay scenarios. I have been in forums before but took a hiatus to focus on my offline career. But now I am back! At least, until work gets chaotic again. We shall see!

Let's see... here's some fun facts about me!

• My favorite animals are hedgehogs, dogs and moths
• My favorite color is aquamarine (like the gemstone, which happens to be my birthstone!)
• My first novel was published in 2021, and I'm featured in a poetry collection by the American Library of Congress
• I have an obscene amount of vintage/princessy dresses that I wear when I attend symphonies, ballets and historical building tours
• I am an entomologist by hobby, and if you need help identifying bugs I am your girl! If I didn't become a teacher I definitely would have gone into entomology
• I have eighteen nieces and nephews that are basically my novels' tiny fanbase
• My favorite flower are light pink tea roses because my late grandpa always gave me one when I visited
• I'm a hopeless romantic (both wholesome and angst, but never NSFW), listen to too much fantasy music and a serial daydreamer
• All I do is to bring glory to my Author watching over me! <3
