hello hello, dearest reader!! i'm super excited to make my first forum post here. i've found myself deeply mourning the forum rps of the past; i used to be a pretty avid user of them but i am always, still, yearning for that experience. hence this search; i have a lot of ideas in my noggin that i'd like to bring forward. if any of what i put in here interests you into writing with me, please dm me!! we can discuss it more through there. i also am fairly new to the website so i will likely not reach out myself; this is just bc i am shy but also i'm tryna relearn forum etiquette. bare with me ; v ;

ABOUT ME.
hi!! you can call me storm. i have been writing for a very long time ... omg it's been over ten years atp. i'm 26 years old now and i'm both in school and i work full-time, so my replies can be sporadic. ic wise, i'm a novella writer though it's dependent on 1.) my muse, and 2.) what i've received as a response. ooc wise i am always down for a chat, and i really love to befriend my writing partners!! i am also pretty boring outside of this so i don't have a lot else to say, other than that i am a fiend for hurt/comfort, angst, and the works and i loooove romance plots. i am a little newer to nsfw, but don't take that to mean i don't write it; just bare with me as i navigate getting better at it. most of the spaces i've been in have been sfw so i haven't had the opportunity to get freaky, as they say.
RULES.
i am really chill, all things considered but i guess i hope for the following:
— no one who's 18 to 20. my preference is 25+.
— no ai. reiterating this again.
— semi-lit to lit. again, i lean on novella but honestly i will match whatever my partner gives me, just please let it be more than a few lines.
— ghost friendly. life happens! i don't mind.
— trans friendly!! idc what you make your muses' gender. i just will be sticking to mainly femme muses for this thread specifically.
— i am open to doubling up! also open to just doing one pairing.
— really, as long as you're somebody who puts a lot of effort and care into what you're doing, we'll be perfect for each other!! i get so invested in things, i'd love someone equally invested.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR.
— i am seeking specifically romance plots. i don't write platonic stuff in 1x1s; tbh i don't care about platonic stuff. i wish i did! love it in media! but could not care less in roleplay.
— i will not write anything where any character is less than 23. it's just not my preference idk. i think most of my character ideas range between 25 to 35-ish. i don't mind age gaps or anything like that.
— i want just a pinch of plot with whatever we write. i feel like it's fun when there's emotions and feelings in whatever's going on.
— again, i just would love a writing partner as invested and putting as much care into what's being written as i know i'll give.
GENRES / TROPES / KINKS.
for genres, i will dabble in just about everything tbh.
— very into: drama, romance, dystopian/apocalypse, western, modern.
— moderately into: sci-fi, cyberpunk, futuristic.
— not a lot of muse for: a/b/o, supernatural / high fantasy plots ... i really wish it did it for me. it just kind of depends, but it's not usually my go-to.
for tropes ... oh goodness i don't think i can list all of them but my favorite ones are.
— loves: hurt/comfort. angst. anything that will make me cry but with a happy ending.
— likes: slow burn ... i can do a fast burn too, just as long as it's not rlly boring once they get together. + i love established dynamics.
— meh: i am kinda not as into dark romance as other things. i like traits of dark romance; the obsession, the back and forth, the drama and toxicness but i don't think i like enough of what's under dark romance as a whole to be considered a dark romance liker.
for kinks ... tbh i am still figuring out what i like to write! i've been in mainly spaces that encourage or are exclusively sfw, so aside from a few 1x1s, i haven't touched on it much. i think the larger portion of this can be discussed over dms. generally though, rape, vomit, poop, inflation, beastiality, illegal, or against tos is not stuff i'm into writing. i'm not currently as interested in writing hardcore / heavy / intense stuff, such as slapping, heavy degration; it just depends though. and my loves involve ... honestly any man who's like absolutely dedicated to his woman's pleasure lmao. light degration, clit play / rubbing, praise, cockwarming. my favorite thing to wrtie is intense, but pretty obsessive / doting.
PLOT BUNNIES.
i don't have any fully fleshed out ideas yet and am also down to hear out your ideas; i may not be into them but it doesn't hurt to ask!! but some that come to the top of my mind are as follows.
— country x city. once upon the time, the two of them had been best friends. hell, the two were even lovers in all ways except name ... up until muse b ended up leaving for the city. they're reuniting now with a ton of tension and unspoken words between each other, and what's worse is they can't stop sliding into bed with one another. old habits die hard.
— rival crime syndicate members or even leaders / high ranking people. i have no elaborate thoughts for ths one outside of ... they're in love! I love a good romeo / juliet plot.
— it's day one of the end of the world. what should've been a normal day at an amusement park turned into muse a and muse b, two total strangers to one another, basically fighting for their lives to get out. the roleplay consists of them first escaping, and then surviving, and then falling in love.
— best friend's brother. obligatory "my best friend's brother is so hot but i was told specifically not to date him" plot.

— power dynamics. this could be an employee x boss, university student x teacher, teaching assistant x teacher, etc.
— fame stuff! whether either one of them is famous and the other is a stranger not super into them, or both of them are famous but keeping it a secret.
— cheating plots, drama, etc. are also so fun to me.
— all around, i lean towards more modern day / no fantasy plots, but i don't mind adding less modern / realism tropes or plots.
