Name: Camilo Cantu
Age: 15 -22 (Same as Jason Todd)
Gender: Trans Male
Sexuality: Gay
Ethnicity: Half-Puerto Riccan Half-Mexican
Nationality: American
Languages: English and Spanish
Hero name: Fox
Love Intrest: Jason Todd
Height: 5'5
Weight: 120 lb
Personality:
Camilo is very aloof and introverted but nevertheless charismatic and someone who values community above anything else. Around strangers, he can be closed off and even come off as standoffish but around those he loves, he becomes very expressive. As a teen Camilo was a natural-born prankster, pulling childish pranks on his loved ones, like drawing a penis on Dick Grayson's forehead while he was asleep, this trait being something he eventually grew out of as an adult. Both as an adult and as a teenager, Camilo tends to be very sarcastic and witty, lovingly teasing anyone who was close to him. One of Camilo's biggest characteristics is his strong sense of justice, something he represses as an adult because of trauma.
Backstory:
At the age of 12, he lost his parents in a mass attack by a villain because the justice league hero that came to rescue cared more about defeating the villain than helping the victims. Forcing Camilo to drag his parents out of danger, and to the hospital, unfortunately, his parents died leaving him an orphan. Camilo ran away before he could be placed in foster care and started living in the streets of Gotham. There he met Jason Todd and they quickly became best friends, until two years later and Jason disappeared, shortly after Camilo decided to become his own vigilante and care more about protecting the people than fighting bad guys, and forms a small team to help him, made of a boy named Alec, and a girl named Emma.
Plot:
One day Fox goes on a mission when he discovers he is sharing a target with Batman and Robin. At one point he gets into an argument with Robin, and he goes on a rant about his gripes with the Justice League and superheroes, that's when Robin recognizes that sentiment as well as his voice and that's when he recognizes Fox as Camilo, after seeing that Robin recognized him he the recognizes Robin as Jason.
After that encounter they finally reconnect and they reignite their bond which later turns into a romance. Jason and Camilo date for about one year, and quickly their relationship starts getting more and more serious. At one point Jason begged Bruce to let Camilo move into the Wayne mansion as well as fund Camilo's transition, which he gladly accepted.
Unfortunately, that's when tragedy would strike, and Jason would be killed by Joker. This leaves Camilo devastated, thankfully he still had Alec, Emma, and Bruce to support him.
Three years later Camilo had come to terms with Jason's death and was living in an apartment of his own until one day Tim Drake reached out to him and asked him to find Jason who had been resurrected. At first, Camilo didn't believe it until they found Jason. For a moment the lost lovers had been reunited and it seemed as if the two were sharing a tender moment until Tim Drake came in and Jason got furious upon seeing that Batman had replaced him. As he was lashing out at Tim, Camilo did his best to restrain Jason, once Jason saw everything he let go of Tim and told both of them to leave. Camilo insisted that he could lose Jason a third time, but then Jason held a gun to him and yelled at him to leave and never look at him again and so he grabbed Tim and left, but he would be done yet.
Still convinced that he can save Jason, Camilo goes to save Jason again. This encounter leads to a fight where Camilo finally realizes that Jason had not only been the Jason he fell in love with gone and never coming back but Jason had now become everything Camilo criticized about the Justice League, self-righteous and only interested in beating up bad guys. That is when Camilo ran away.
A couple of days later, Camilo went on a mission against the Joker, but the mission went horribly wrong, his team ended up dying and Joker broke Camilo's right arm before striking him across the face with the back of a hammer, temporarily blinding his right eye, and leaving a nasty scar across the right side of his face. Camilo barely escaped with his own life as he ran to safety but the deaths of Alec and Emma left him with severe trauma and survivor's guilt that was so bad he gave up his life as a vigilante, got his GED, and went to university to become an investigative journalist.
Four years later, Camilo is a successful journalist and is writing many papers. One day Jason attempts to reach out to him. Camilo accepts and makes time to see Jason, they catch up and then Jason apologizes, Camilo tells him that he's already forgiven him. Jason offers for them to start over as he's already patched things up with Bruce and is receiving treatment for his trauma from being killed and then resurrected. Camilo declines, saying that he's already started a new life and doesn't want any traces of his old life. Once Jason leaves, Camilo is alone and he breaks into tears.
Arkhamverse
In the Arkhamverse almost everything is the same except the traumatic mission where Camilo loses his team takes place in Arkham to go and save Jason. After watching his team die and getting a blow across the face along with a broken arm, Camilo barely escapes the fight with his life as he's running through Arkham half blind and injured he looks for Jason once he finds the room where Jason is being held, he rushes to free a delirious Jason. Unfortunately in his delirious state, Jason doesn't recognize Camilo and thinks he's someone coming to hurt him. Once free, Jason starts to strangle Camilo, until he finally realizes what he's doing and lets him go. Jason tries to rush to help him but Camilo scurries away in fear and barely makes it out alive. Since he lost his communication device and had no way to contact Batman, Bruce simply assumed he died trying to save Jason. Once Camilo is gone Joker taunts Jason by comparing them to the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice
