Personality: generally unfriendly, loner type. His intimidating appearance keeps most people away, but usually his attitude is what makes them stay away. He's not friendly, and more on the grouchy side most of the time. He's bitter about a lot of things, and not afraid to hide it. He's introverted, hates parties and large groups of people. Is secretly a nerd, loves to read and engross himself in his studies. He's stubborn, a bit egotistical, but not without good reason.

Background: Eli's always been a bit of a rebel, he likes doing his own thing, outside of his family. His parents are strict and abusive, moreso from his father, but Eli moved out of their family shrine as soon as he turned eighteen. He's been working at a local bar and going to school at the same time, he's actually quite smart and resourceful. His mother suddenly dies in a car accident, and his father decided to run off without another word to him or anyone else. Eli's grandfather never liked his daughter's husband, and the shrine is still in his name, so he gave ownership of the shrine to his daughter's son- which is Eli. Now responsible for his family shrine, Eli gets curious about his family history, his parents kept a lot of secrets from him, so he goes to the shrine's library and starts looking through the obscure books his parents kept hidden away.

Appearance: Cam's shorter then the average man and more on the skinny side, thanks to his neglectful parents. Despite this, his looks are a bit intimidating, his gaze is dark blue. He wears a blank, emotionless expression most of the time. His hair is longish and a dusky blond, his features are soft and a bit feminine. His skin is pearly white, but with a slightly reddish/pink undertone. His ears are pierced, as well as his tongue. He's slender, and stands at 5'6. He used to get made fun of by the mostly boys, who nicknamed him "girly-boy" or "femboy". He was also deemed as weak due to his appearance, thus messed with a lot by the other kids in the orphanage.

Personality: Due to him being bullied for his looks and picked on a lot, Cam developed a complex where he seems more tough then he actually is. He gives off a bit of a cold aura, though looks are deceiving in his case. He's not a cold person, he just puts on that mask to protect himself because he thinks people will mess with him if he doesn't. He's actually pretty kind once you get to know him, he has a good heart and a gentle nature. He always tries to help someone in need, even though he doesn't have powers of his own. He feels like he can only relate to those who have had strife or hardships in their life, unlike others who would be considered "well off". Due to his usual closed-off nature, he's a loner who does his own thing at home when he's not working. "His own thing" consists of obsessively watching the movements of superheroes in his area, he doesn't know why he does this, but he's really interested in such things.

Backstory: Cam was born into poverty, his mom was a hooker, and his father abandoned his family before he was born. His mom was forced to work the streets just to keep her kid and herself from starving, but she loved him unconditionally and never brought men home. She protected him from the knowledge that she had sex for money, Cam only figured it out when he was an adult and put the pieces together. Anyways, his mother was at work one night when there was a villain attack, she was killed along with the rest of the causalities that occurred.

Nobody really cared to find a dead prostitute's family, even though Cam knew she was dead since her name was among those released when all the bodies were recovered. So Cam was left on his own for nearly a week before a concerned neighbor called the police. He's taken into custody and put into an orphanage, and Cam's life in hell began.

The villain who murdered his mother and plenty others is eventually dealt with, killed violently by a hero, who was shunned for such actions by others but Cam's relieved. His burning hatred gone, he developed an admiration for all superheroes or superhumans.

He grew up in the orphanage, he was never adopted because he was unfriendly, or because he always had bruises on on his face. People said when they saw him, that he clearly had issues they didn't want to deal with. Or that he was too troubled to deal with. The older he got, the less likely he was to be adopted.

Once he was eighteen, he was immediately kicked out and left to fend for himself, thus he lived on the streets for a few months. Luckily he found a job while he was living in the orphanage, so he was able to get himself a shitty studio apartment downtown. Still, those months on the street were rough, rougher then the orphanage. Cam's resilient though, always kept his head up and never gave up, and now he is where he is. When he turned 21, he got a better paying job as a bartender, as well as a secondary job as a caterer but that was only when his company had events.

Appearance: Morgan is 5'9", weighing at 120 pounds, he has minor muscle mass from being on the college track team, but he wears glasses, without them he's all but blind. He has delicate features, dirty blonde hair, and vibrant green eyes. His style is more casual then anything else.

Personality: Morgan is smart, calm, sweet, kind. He's introverted though, and doesn't have a lot of friends except the very few. Timid in nature and a peacekeeper, he doesn't like conflict or confrontation. He's socially anxious and awkward, hates going to parties and prefers to be by himself. A bit of a daydreamer, a hopeless romantic, but distant with people he doesn't know. His family forced religion on him when he was younger, so he's wary towards super religious people and keeps his distance from the church, which was another reason why he's still a virgin at 18.

Bio: Morgan came from an extremely religious family, who put a lot of pressure on him to act as a "good christian". His father was scary, so Morgan was forced to go along with whatever they said. He played the part of a good Christian boy for as long as he could, even pretending to date a girl from his church so his parents wouldn't send him to a conversion camp. They had long been suspicious of Morgan and how uninterested he is in women, so he felt it was necessary to get them to leave him alone about his sexuality. The girl he "dated" however was also in the closet, a lesbian who was also tired of her parents bullshit. They formed somewhat of an alliance and fronted that they were dating all throughout high school, and once Morgan turned eighteen, he broke up with her, relieving them both of the lie they were living in. He had scholarships offered by a couple of decent colleges, so he took the offer that was the furthest from his parents and went there. He's a virgin, a bit naïve, but ready to experience things he couldn't under the thumb of his controlling parents.

personality: Fenris is a bit of a loner, despite his gentle countenance. It's rare that he gets close to anyone these days, he's optimistic and nice while in the public eye, thanks to the pressure from his parents. He's more of an introvert than an extrovert, but he does whatever his parents want too, which means attending the boring meetings, dinner parties, and other political events, mandatory. He's quiet around most people, but friendly and warm once he's spoken to. Despite how jaded he is, he had a good heart and wants best for his kingdom. He so desperately wants to open up to someone again, but he keeps his guard up out of fear of hurting someone due to his status. He's a sincere man, and doesn't want to inherit the throne.

short bio: Born as the eldest son to his family, Fenris had a lot more riding on his shoulders in comparison to his siblings. As a child, his family was more lenient with him, he was even allowed to play in the village for a large part of his adolescence. He would explore with his siblings and some of the village kids, even the foreign ones. He befriended his childhood lover in his kingdom's village, and spent a lot of his free time with him. He would even sneak him into his room at the castle at times, and played hide n seek in the garden. When he was a teenager, his parents caught them kissing in the garden. He was confined to his quarters for weeks, and told he could never see his lover again. Being just a teenager, Fenris was scared into submission and gave into his parent's orders. He never saw his lover again, and he soon heard that his lover was no longer in the village anyways. The prince was kept in the castle for the rest of his life, only allowed outside the castle walls with a guard. Fenris feels like a trapped animal, hates the responsibilities that are dumped on him. All he wants is to be free.

Bio: Orion's father was a knight who belonged to the royal kingdom, Orion wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps so he trained to become a knight himself. He was hired at the castle after becoming a squire for a few years, when he turned 21, he was hired for full time at the castle. Not just as a knight though, but as the prince's personal bodyguard. Eager to prove himself back then, he gladly accepted the job. but became more laid back as the years passed and the job proved to be a bit... Well, boring. Still, he takes his job seriously, and stays by the prince's side no matter what. They even became close friends over the years.

Appearance: Long, light blond hair that falls to his slim waist, fair/porcelain white skin, deep blue eyes. Petite, elegant features with a small nose and full lips. He stands at 5'7", and is more on the slender side then anything else.

Personality traits: Compassionate, elegant, witty, optimistic, loyal, a little bit naive, cautious, humble, natural leader, loves animals, friendly and bright personality, can be a bit shy when in romantic situations.

Short bio: Eden is the only son to the Grimwald kingdom, the heir to the throne. His mother is an noblewoman elf that was married off to his father, in a previous political contract. Most of his life's focus has been how to run a kingdom, it's the only thing his parents really cared to teach him about. Many said they overworked him, isolated him a lot more than necessary, and put too much pressure on him, but Eden could never see either of them in a bad light. They were still extremely strict with him, they forbid him to leave castle grounds when he was young. He was only allowed to go to the courtyard or the garden on occasion, and would be punished if he was found wandering outside of castle grounds. Due to this, Eden made most of his friends inside the castle walls, he's especially close with his personal knight, YC. He would pretty much bug the knight to hang out with him and the knight was kind of forced to since Eden is his charge.

The older he got, the more lenient his parents were with him, he was allowed to leave the castle to go to the village for small errands, with an escort, but he could never venture out alone if he wanted to. His parents saw him as their only hope to revive their failing kingdom, so it was imperative that he lived to see the day he's crowned. Despite all the pressure and his parents controlling actions, he made the best out of his childhood and doesn't complain like most probably would. He knows his role and its importance, at the same time, the pressure of everything does get to him.

Appearance: He has darker, tanned skin and dark brown eyes, with long black-brown hair just to his chest. He's well built thanks to his occupation, he's 6 ft exactly. He has a dragon tattoo on his left forearm, which was from his days working as a mercenary.

Personality: This guy is never serious. He's overly playful and flirty, likes to joke around, drink and have fun. He spends his time in his cabin at the woods, hunting, or at the tavern with his friends. He's a popular guy of course, a bit of a ladies man too even though he doesn't even like women. Free-spirited but trustworthy, he's protective of his town and doesn't really like outsiders... Unless they're blond beauties. He's persuasive, charming, cocky and confident all at once. So naturally, he doesn't like being told no, it will only make him more persistent. He likes people with fiery and feisty attitudes, the more you say no to him, the worst he gets in his pursuit. He's also overly touchy-feely, he will grab or touch whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

Species: Elf (novice mages)

Appearance: They are twins, so they essentially look like the same person. Asian, sharp cheekbones, long noses. Long pointed ears that are pierced. Amethyst eyes and pale skin. They're both well built, though Sage has more defined muscles since he's the tank in their duo. Alva usually wears kimonos over her assassin gear, she poses as a naive Japanese woman. Sage is less conspicuous, usually choosing to wear all black leather with a long black jacket with the sleeves torn off. He wears a white mask on his eyes.

Personalities: Alva is more of the talkative one among the two, she handles the contracts and makes the overall decisions. She's charismatic, adaptable, charming, and can play any role that's needed in the situation. On the flip side, she's impulsive, childish, she has a tantrum when things don't go her way. She's a lure too, if her target is a man, she gets them alone then strikes. She's skilled in making potions, poison is her specialty and she's good at using tracking based and hunting magic. She's a novice enchanter, can only enhance her own weapon. Carries a bow and arrow as her weapon, and uses spells on it to add fire or explosives to her arrows.

Sage is who one should mostly worry about; he is a skilled swordsman and fast on his feet. He doesn't have much of a personality to be honest. He's cold, and a mute, he rarely talks if ever. He and Alva communicate with hand signals mostly, but she's the only one he ever talks to if he does. Plus, she talks plenty enough for both of them. He uses magic to enhance his speed, so he's able to keep up with species who are biologically faster than him. He uses ice based magic, though since he's a novice, he can only turn moisture in the air into ice. So if it's a particularly dry and humid day, not much chance of him being able to use magic. He carries a large sword that he has to use two hands with, that's why he has large arm muscles, he's trained a lot with big swords so that's his choice of weapon.

Name: Yuki Scarborough

Appearance: Yuki's half American and half Japanese, he had dark brown eyes and dark brown hair, and he wears glasses. He's all but blind without them. He's 5'7" and more on the slender and lean side. His skin tone is more peach toned. Usually his style is pretty basic, he dresses much like a nerd.

Personality: He's definitely more on the soft spoken side, he's less comfortable around people he doesn't know so he comes off as socially awkward, which he is. Quiet during confrontation, his anger is more icy the defensive. He doesn't trust other's easily, so he's very closed off and introverted, which is why he doesn't really have friends. He has a laughable social life, there are a few people he studies with and chats with every now and then, but nobody's managed to get past that unfriendly, cold exterior he puts up, without even realizing it either. He likes to be alone, and has learned to only rely on himself. He's a anime and comic book fan, it's the one thing that he could talk about forever. Star Wars is another passion of his, as well as video games. People however... They're a different story. he's afraid to open up and get close to anyone again, in fear that they'll end up turning on him too.

Bio: Yuki was named after his mother's mother, who passed away before he was born. He got his father's last name, which is why his name is both American and Japanese. Yuki's father met his mother while on a business trip to Tokyo, his mother ran a failing bakery and his father was well off. They fell in love, and his mother sold her business to move back to the states with his father, and in the states is where Yuki was conceived and born. He's an only son, so his parents doted on him, moreso his mother then Arthur (Yuki's father), who was always away on business trips and didn't have time to spend with his son. That's when Kyoko (Yuki's mom) reconnected with a childhood friend of hers, Masami, and they've been inseparable ever since. Thus, they forced their sons to hang out all the time, which wasn't considered a bad thing at the time.

When Yuki was in middle school, his parents had a huge fight in front of him because Yuki's father was cheating on his mom with his assistant, and that was when his life drastically changed. Not only did his best friend/budding crush switch up on him and started being more mean towards him, his parents constantly fought in front of him, this caused him to grow up very jaded. His mom eventually ended up returning to Japan for awhile when Yuki turned 18, she had only stayed in the same house with his father to raise Yuki since it was clear his father wasn't going to do it. She and his father broke up but never divorced, instead he bought her a separate house for her to live in while they 'work things out'. Which was just a flimsy excuse to keep her in the country as much as possible, because he didn't want to divorce her. He still loves her, or so he claimed.

He's trying to make something of himself in college, studying hard so he can become a psychiatrist. His severe abandonment issues made him want to help others. He goes to a good Uni and lives at the on campus dorms they provide for students. Yuki only relies on himself, he doesn't ask for any type of help, financial or otherwise from Arthur or Kyoko. He wanted nothing to do with his father, and he didn't want to trouble or worry his mother. He stays focused on his studying so he can graduate with the best marks he's able to get. He hangs out with his mom every now and then, especially when she would insist that he come with her to his ex childhood friend's house. He hates it, but he does what she wants because he loved her of course.

Appearance: Long, dark brown/black hair and sea green eyes, she stands at 5'2", is significantly shorter then most people but average for a Japanese woman.

Personality: Bubbly and cheerful, Kyoko grew up in a poor family, which humbled her a lot. She's the stark contrast to her husband, raised in poverty by a single mother who was an addict, Kyoko knows what it's like to struggle against all odds. Optimism and strength is what got her through her darkest days. She's really friendly and extroverted, a stark contrast to her timid son. She does her best to coax Yuki to be more friendly, but it's not that simple.

Bio: She worked hard in school, kept her grades and her act together, and managed to buy a small space to start her bakery business. Unfortunately this business didn't last long, she was located in a very urban area with plenty of little shops that had been around and were favored more. Eventually, she met Arthur, who swept her off her feet and took her to America to live a comfortable life. She reconnected with a childhood friend of hers there, and they hung out all the time once again, they even introduced their sons to each other.

Name: Jude Winters

Appearance: He has longish, wavy midnight black hair that just barely brushes his shoulders. Deep, chocolate eyes that are almond shaped, long eyelashes. He has olive skin, more on the lithe and slender side then anything else. He stands at 5'6" with a trim waist. His features are delicate, his lips are plump and heart shaped. Then of course he has pointed ears that stick out and up from between his long hair.

Personality traits: shy, quiet, opinionated, modest, honest, loyal, caring, kind, a bit judgmental, emotionally stunted

Short Bio: Jude is the apprentice to his clan's healer; he collects herbs, treats patients if the healer is busy, fetches tea, etc... He's still in training to learn everything, but he's a huge asset to his clan. He lives with a caravan of wandering elves, who are determined to live by "the old ways". The "old ways" are the opposite of how today's modern city dwelling elves choose to live. They prefer the comfort of walls and soft beds, as oppose to living on the forest floor.

Jude's people are traditionalists who prefer to stay close to nature, so they travel in large bands of caravans across their lands. They hunt for food, grow crops, and protect each other. They're referred to as a litany of things; forest dwellers mostly, but some aren't as kind preferring to call them savages or tree huggers. Most judge the forest dwelling elves harshly their choice to remain in the past, even by their own people. Today's elves don't want to abide by the rules of the old ways nor do they even worship elven gods anymore. Their traditionalist ways are dying out fast, but Jude prefers this type of life rather then living in the walls of a city or village.
