Asta Romona Abendroth

Basic Info

Name
Asta Roma Abendroth

Age
30

Race
Vampire

Pronouns
she/her/it

Sexuality
undefined

Body Type
Asta is not athletic looking but neither is she overweight. She is healthy with both her older womanly aspects and young motherly features -that is, she looks all about comfort and strength- Standing at 5 feet 4 inches her body and limbs carry themselves in proper posture. As a vampire she has acquired much more strength than she ever thought she needed.

Skin Tone
She watches her tired face in the mirror on her dresser. Her cheeks are pale and slightly pink where once they were red with color.

Hair
The locks surrounding her tender and gentle face curved up along the places they brushed and settled. The ashen locks showed blonde in the sun.

Eyes
Asta gazed at the vanity mirror and golden brow irises shown back at her in the dusky morning light. When she is thirsty however, they glow luminescent red, as do most vampires when they are feeling…peckish.

Facial hair & Scars
The skin on her face looked to be like porcelain; without imperfection. Having been turned gave her a flawless glass finish to her otherwise human looking body. No freckles, her cheeks only dawned the tiniest of pores, but a beauty mark did rest above the left side of her lip.

Piercings & Tattoos
None but an intricate eye on the back of her neck.

Abilities

Powers, Abilities and Notable Skills
She can create illusions to visually hide her physical form. She can stretch the fabrication to cover objects and living things by simply touching them. It takes some concentration to hold this over other things. The most she can occupy at a time would only be about three average human bodies or one exceptionally large male and a child. The largest covering area, however, is based on the amount of mass of the object, so the actual things she may try to conceal could vary in size. The illusions falter when she loses concentration. She cannot maintain the illusion for more than an hour at a time and she may only hide things if she herself is also hidden in the fabrication since it originates from her form anyways.

Personality

Likes, Dislikes & Disposition
She has a positive outlook on her situation. Asta came to be a medic and to promote peaceful coexistence between vampires and humans. Her qualities would include her understanding temperament and her only spite is saved for those who scoff and think little of the idea of peace between the races and that is a matter she takes quite seriously. Asta is passionately understanding of this apparent righteous and needy world, and because of her infatuation those who laugh at her are openly rebuked and unapproved by her. They are at best tolerable and at worst a cancer to the cause and she has little patience for such people.

Aside from those issues, Miss Asta is very compassionate and tender. She has sympathetic feelings for children and the naive and she is not without mercy; let firmness and discipline not be forgotten. She has her humane love that is seen as benign and she tends to take an extra eye to those damaged souls. She enjoys her job thoroughly and she makes sure to have everything finished before she allows herself a brake for rest.

When Asta thinks of her master she thinks fondly of him. He is cordial and caring; absolutely adored by her for there is no one else who treats her as he does and because of this she desires to do well by him. He is the most beautiful creature under all creation and Asta exalts him. She could never think he would wrong her trust, the idea is too inane to fathom. So, blindly, she gives herself fully to him and he is the only one she would do so for.

Background

it all started when...
Her name was Tarren Dolton. She was a college student working in the medical field. She was a good student, a good daughter, good citizen. But not everything was good.

Tarren sat up on the doctor's table. This couldn't be happening… The air had felt thick, her breathing had grown shallow, and her legs had gone numb. What treatments could she have used?

"There is no known cure. I'm afraid you have about 1 year to live," the physician had said, stress clouding his eyes as he wiped his brow and leaned forward in his chair.

"I don't understand…" she had mumbled, fumbling at her chin in a vain attempt to hide the ugly expression beginning to flood her face. The office had felt hot. Her mind had begun to race.
"There's no way. I was so careful!" Her soft lips had quivered, her nose had started to gush, soon followed by tears streaming from her eyes.

Soon after, her parents had come to bring her home. They had cleared out her dorm; 5 years, wasted. She had been left to stare out the window, with only a few months to live.
After three weeks of counseling from her parents' Catholic priest—a man she had known since childhood—she and her mother had finally sat down at the table and created a bucket list.

She had decided to fly out to Europe to live the rest of her life. In a small apartment in Paris she had marveled at the beauty of all the tourist locations and wept at the cruelty of the world and the mysteries she would never uncover. She had accepted death. But then, a second chance at life had been offered.

And she had taken it.

Family and Other Important People:

There is one other. He is her brother since his master is shared by her. Through her master, Sebastian and Asta are his created children making them siblings. For most other purebloods their created vampires are from the days of war. But since these two are so young and were turned around at the same time, they ended up growing together as level Cs.

While Sebastian is humbly loyal to his master, he does not believe in a peaceful coexistence between vampires and humans. He often likes to poke at this fiery topic because he enjoys irritating Asta, as he often calls her unfortunately, and getting those pointless reactions out of her.

Full Name: Charphine Dorissa Andreadi

Nicknames/Titles: Chaphine, Chaphini, Phini, hates being called issa and especially Dori

Gender: Female

Age: 23

Race/Homeland: Human

Class: Noble

Character Appearance: She wears dark colors such as brown, black, green and sometimes red

Hair: Thick dark brown

Skin: Olive complexion and golden brown color

Eyes: Brown and missing an eye. She wears a menstrual red eye patch and sometimes a glass eye.

Build: Phini is slim but muscular and stands at a height of 5 feet 11 inches

Markings: Scars around her both her wrists and ankles

Physical Features: Her lashes are thick and sweeping and her brows are strong and bold and slightly arched. Her bone structure is sharp and delicately angled however sturdy and tuff. There are several beauty marks (small moles) here and there. Under her right eye, another on the left side of her upper lip. Two on her neck, three along her ribs, three on her thighs and one on her ankle and then several along her back.

Personality: Charphine is not shy and she values independence and self-governance. However aware she is of her lack of power she is five times as aware of what she does have power and uses these things to her advantage, including perceived weaknesses. Her mannerisms and speech seem to be that found in kings, often brewing with confidence. She adores reading and cleverness and sports such as archery and sword fighting and horseback riding. She has little patience for feminine things and when in private, such as during fencing practice or when she leaves the estate alone with her horse, she wears men's clothes and favors pants over dresses. She prefers practicality and functionality over pretty and she holds a fascination for animals and inventions. She also has a hunger for adventure and her most skilled area of weaponry is with her spear named Grade for grey and green, one symbolic of grey areas and the other of nature and growth. She keeps her body fit and wears braids most of the time, except when wearing a dress, just so that she will be ready for sparing whenever the chance arises.

Social Level: She understands her role as a lady and abides by those gender roles when it is appropriate however she is proud and will often stand out. In her homeland inclusive romance and equality were socially celebrated but when traveling she sees there is a clear social benefit presented to sticking to the local social norms and not stoking the fires. Phini is proud and tends to speak her mind, sometimes out of turn, and she does not care who she offends. She knows her intentions are good and that she can be respectful and honest to her morals. When it comes to romantic topics she treads lightly, staying honest about herself but taking caution to the skewed values around her.

Positive Personality Traits: Charphine is a passionate woman who values independence and strength and intelligence. She is soft and gentle to those she loves or holds affection for and possesses a fierce sense of protection. Chaphine also likes to take charge and assume the roles of teacher or leader.
When it comes to expressing her feelings, she has a difficult time, preferring to brood and mole things over during weaponry practice or sparing before approaching the situation. This gives her time to gather her thoughts and respond intelligently rather rashly.

Negative Personality Traits: Her attitude can be abrasive and curt and when she feels what little authority she has is being challenged or threatened she can easily become impatient, sometimes acting rashly when not in her right mind. Anger and grief are emotions that wreck her being and she finds these things particularly difficult to navigate. Sometimes Chaphini comes across as bossy and sometimes can get so carried away with a project that she takes over. When it comes to disagreeing with people she can be rude, often making her point but in the process offending people through unapologetic honesty because holding her tongue back is not in her nature and it does not come easy to her and winning the (battle) argument over shadows wins the social relations.

Religion/Philosophy: She believes in a more equal society where people are not hungry and the upper class do not waste their treasures fulfilling their greedy desires. Chaphini is Omnistic and participates in traditions and ceremonies of all cultures. Although she shares most beliefs of her mother and father. She does not believe in the condemnation of other religions and is curious and enthralled with other traditions. Of the books she has read of other religions the tales of Hindu gods are her favorite, closely followed by Greek mythology however those exotic tales are far in the past, having read them as a child and not pressuring more information due to societal circumstances. Perhaps she will see an adventure involving them one day. Her philosophy is that there is always something other people can teach us and to understand ourselves we must give into our curious desires and feed into our knowledge-hungry nature.

History: Charphine's parents are the ruling figures of house Andreadi in her land. House Andreadi is associated with cleverness and strength and their nation is one of tolerance and paganism where the belief of many Gods is the most common religion. Charphines family sought out to expand their ties with another house on the corners of their borders to quell religious zealots of the area and to assimilate them to the ruling culture in order to calm the rising conflicts on religion. So they sent Charphine to marry the heir of the house. However the nation on the other side of the border was seeking to expand their territory into theirs and the church ran as high authority. Charphine was caught in the conflict as a child and taken as a prisoner to be cleansed of her family's name and teachings. There they bound her by her hands and feet for days until her Aunt and Uncle showed up to reclaim the territory and bring back their niece. They conquered the ruling church and the small kingdom it belonged to, expanding their riches in the spoils of war.

Personality

Likes
She's not sure what she likes. She's hardly ever had a choice or say in her adult life. If she had to say, she likes paintings. The few she's seen had been when she was a girl and her mother took her to the museum. It was filled with paintings of the earth before the radiation. It was beautiful. She wants to be able to paint those shades and foliage herself. Oh the wistful pull of innocent childhood.

Dislikes
Many things. Being told what to do. Being too soft. Not understanding what's going on. Her life seems to be filled with things she doesn't like since the guardians picked her up off the street.

Disposition
She's cautious but strong willed. She always finds small yet comforting ways to claim her independence and stick it to the man. In a world without doctors offices, without orderlys, without walls, she imagines herself free to make her own choices. Who she befriends, when she goes to bed, what she eats, where she goes, what she says and what she puts in her body. She imagines a world where she can be with her children. Where she can be the mother her mother was for her. Where she can carve a life out of world that has nothing to do with her body.

Arc
She assists in an escape, gets caught but escapes herself at some point. May fall in love

Background

it all started when...
She is a patient at the Hydra Center and has children for a private underground company which is coded eugenics. When she was a child she lived with her mother, when she turned 13 her blood was tested and she was taken in by government. When she was 18 she was transferred to the Hydra Center due to her value where they had her participate in the breeding program. As some point she lost contact with her mother and she became property of the government.

── Abilities ──

Skill one
The DNA splicing gives her heightened senses, strength, and durability, though it is a double-edged sword.

Skill two
A sharp, analytical mind that excels in research and deconstructing complex genetic sequences, though her perspective is now tinted with the trauma of her past.

Skill three
Life outside the Dome has taught her to adapt quickly, and she's become adept at scavenging and surviving in a world destroyed by radiation and corruption.

── Personality ──

Likes
The quiet rhythm of a shower, the dark solace of water, even if it is acidic, and the infatuated state of being deep in research.

Dislikes
Shady conspirators, the ever-present enforcers (guardians), and the corrupt machinery of money that continues to breed suffering.

Fears
Holly fears losing herself—her humanity—completely to the mutation. The unsettling whisper of the "other" inside her is her constant shadow, threatening to take her mind and soul.

Disposition
Holly is a mix of determination and reluctant acceptance. Though she's driven by the desire to undo the horrors she's been part of, a sense of doom constantly follows her, amplified by her mutations. Beneath her tough exterior, she is haunted by the trauma of what she's witnessed and what's been done to her.

── Background ──

it all started when...
Holly's journey is one of sacrifice, grief, and discovery.

Born into a world where the Dome's oppressive control was the only certainty, Holly's life seemed set to follow the path of those who dwelled within its shadowed walls. Her father, once a courageous man who ventured beyond the Dome's confines to maintain its crumbling infrastructure, fell victim to radiation poisoning. His suffering was Holly's first glimpse into the world's cruelty and drove her to seek a cure for his ailment.

Years of dedicated research into radiation and genetic manipulation led her to a prestigious university, where she excelled, but no accomplishment could undo the pain her father suffered. She joined Hydra Center, an enigmatic private government contractor, to further her research in hopes of discovering a cure. However, Hydra Center was a cover for darker pursuits—experiments that blended human and non-human DNA in grotesque attempts to create superhumans or, worse, tools for warfare.

It was here that Holly first encountered the horrifying reality of genetic manipulation—mutants, vampires, werewolves, and other "non-humans," all torn apart and modified by human hands. Despite her moral objections, Holly's position gave her no choice but to comply. But her internal conflict grew, reaching its boiling point when she was betrayed. Her supervisor, an unethical and power-hungry scientist, subjected her to an experimental mutation herself. He fused her with the DNA of an unknown creature, transforming her into something both human and monstrous.

Now, Holly carries the scars of her betrayal—not just physical, but deeply psychological. Her body no longer feels entirely her own, and the memories of the experiments haunt her waking hours. Nevertheless, Holly has resolved to leave the Dome behind. She has become a rogue, determined to free others from the same fate that befell her. She travels with Emelia Plume, a former coworker who has become more than just an ally, and together they aim to expose the horrors of Hydra Center, one patient at a time.

Her ultimate goal: To find a cure for herself—and for the world—but deep down, Holly knows the true cost may be her very humanity.

Character Arc
Holly's arc is one of redemption and reclaiming the self. Initially, she's driven by guilt and anger, fighting the legacy of her actions within Hydra Center. But as she journeys through a wasteland of memories, haunted by the creature she's become, Holly's deeper desire grows—not just for personal salvation, but to stop the horrific experiments once and for all.

Though her physical mutations make her a stronger ally in battle, her mind constantly battles the invasive "other" inside her. Her relationship with Emelia evolves from that of comrades to something deeper, something more intimate. In the end, their bond becomes the key to Holly's survival, and perhaps, to her redemption.

it all started when...
Living in Sector 8 under the muted red sky beyond the opaque dome, languished a boy named Finley. His life was… lackluster. Unkind. Life inside the Dome meant rationed air, recycled water, and a crushing militia and oligarchic regime. His mother scavenged in the wasteland of a world outside the artificial life of the enclosed city. His father was a drunk exterminator who regularly abused his mother. Here life was hard. People struggled to survive inside the dome's walls as much as outside it seemed. Eventually for all her meager supplies and efforts to give Finley and his little sister a life worth living, she succumbed to radiation sickness. Her body boiled over and rotted before their eyes. Quarantined in a "recovery center", where people usually die, his mother fought to even breathe behind the glass door. The doctors at the center "treated" her. In truth they experimented on her, injecting her with "tested serums" and shocking her with electrical currents. She ended up dying from the "treatments" rather than the radiation. As a result of witnessing her horrendous passing, Finley became as cold and sterile as the Guardians who took her away. It dawned on him that all the Dome cared about was control. He took a job as an orderly at the Hydra Center, learning their protocols as he planned to pick off staff and the occasional freak of a patient once he learned they were mutated and immune. Why should they be immune from radiation and not her? He became the grotesque figure in the shadows and administered "treatment" for those unsuspecting victims. It was easy to hide staff in the camps and take advantage of "patients" who deviated from his idea of a just world. He was no longer the little boy who watched his mother suffer. Instead, he was the rot festering within the Dome.

In the Veiled Realm, Juniper's body appears more like a coiling surgical tapestry—a floating skeletal husk wrapped in nerve-like tendrils, twitching with magma-colored veins that pulse in time with nearby human anguish. ── Abilities ──

Demonic Power Type

Juniper is a high-functioning manipulator who feeds on emotional disintegration, particularly the type born from betrayal, despair, and paranoia. He prefers slow burns over outbursts—he cultivates his meals.

Skill one

Medical Mastery
  • Advanced Surgical Techniques: Capable of working under minimal conditions or in secret labs.
  • Reproductive Manipulation: Fertility alteration, embryo editing, prenatal weaponization.
  • Black-site Medicine: Specializes in off-the-record procedures for high-value clients or experiments.
Possession – 'Puppeteering'
Unlike brute-force demonic possession, Juniper uses subdermal possession on rare occasions.:
  • Temporarily overtake motor functions (usually limbs) of those under his Leechline influence.
  • He often makes them hurt themselves or commit subtle sabotage without realizing it.
Skill two

Suffering Network (Leechline)
Juniper implants psychic tendrils—thin, spectral threads invisible to humans—into individuals during moments of vulnerability (typically during surgery, sleep, or breakdowns). Once attached, these Leechlines let him:
  • Sense emotional spikes and physical pain.
  • Feed passively, drawing infernal energy from their suffering.
  • Influence their dreams, paranoia, or decision-making.
  • Whisper ideas that feel like their own.
He has a Leechline in dozens of Dome patients and staff, including Sarah Yating (implanted during childhood screenings).

Skill three

Emotion Grafting
  • Juniper can transfer emotional states between individuals. He'll take one person's anxiety and shove it into another, often for experimentation, chaos, or to control outcomes. Used on couples, siblings, soldiers, or patients to fracture bonds.

── Personality ──

Likes
  • Precision and Control: He finds pleasure in systems that function exactly as designed, especially when he is the one designing them.
  • Silence and Observation: Crowds bore him. But the silence between conversations? The breath before a confession? That's where he feeds.
  • Genetic Imperfection (in others): Not because he finds it grotesque, but because it gives him leverage.
  • Scented smoke & incense: A holdover from infernal ritual, disguised as sensory preference. He laces his office with a scent he uses to soften resistance.
  • Rare knowledge & ancient texts: Especially banned medical records, pre-Dome religious doctrine, and demonic genealogy.
  • Children (with potential): He watches them carefully, not out of sentiment, but because he sees them as investments.
  • Compliance: When someone bends without realizing it, Juniper experiences it like a high.
Dislikes

  • Incompetence masked as confidence: He'll smile to your face, but he'll make sure you don't last long.
  • Loud idealists: Revolutionaries, radicals, moral crusaders—they are threats to the slow, patient infection he spreads.
  • The concept of "purity": The Dome worships it. He knows it's a lie.
  • Unplanned outcomes: He dislikes chaos unless he created it.
  • Unsealed rooms and unsecured data: If someone else could see what he's hiding, that makes him... irritated.
  • Forced sentimentality: Especially when used to manipulate him. He knows the tactic—and hates when others try to use it.
  • Reflection: It sometimes reveals things even he cannot fully control.

Disposition

Juniper presents an impeccably calm, composed, and almost soothing demeanor—his presence is a balm to those who meet him, especially within the cold sterility of the Dome's medical institutions. He speaks with a gentle cadence, dresses immaculately, and exudes the confidence of a man trusted with human lives. But beneath this placid surface lies a deeply manipulative and sinister force. Juniper is patient, calculating, and sadistically curious—he views emotional pain as both nourishment and art. He derives pleasure from constructing slow-burning collapses in others, often orchestrating events to push people toward despair, then appearing as their savior. His empathy is performative, weaponized to draw people closer so he can tether them more securely to his suffering network. Though he rarely raises his voice, his presence can feel heavy and strange, like the moment before a surgical incision. Juniper doesn't merely feed on misery—he cultivates it with the precision of a surgeon and the detachment of a god.

── Background ──

it all started when...

Juniper Roe was born in the shadows of Dome District 3, a cradle of elite genetic supremacy where bloodlines are assets and imperfection is purged like disease. His paperwork is pristine. His DNA scans are flawless. To the governing bodies, he is a sterile, unmutated, mid-tier medical prodigy with impeccable bedside manner and a disarming, quiet smile. But that's exactly how he wants them to see him.

Because the truth is poison in this world: Juniper is a Pure Blood Demon, heir to a long-buried infernal dynasty once powerful enough to rival the pre-Dome oligarchs. His bloodline has not been lost—it's been hidden. And Juniper has become a master of hiding.

Raised in silence by infernal loyalists embedded in the understructure of Dome society, Juniper learned from a young age how to weaponize perception. His education wasn't just surgical—it was tactical. He studied not only how to cut open bodies but how to cut into power structures. Charisma is his scalpel. Obedience is his costume. In truth, he manipulates patients, administrators, and peers alike with surgical precision, subtly guiding decisions, allegiances, and even reproductive outcomes to serve deeper, long-game infernal goals.

His gift isn't just mind control—it's empathic mimicry laced with slow-drip corruption. He doesn't command; he suggests. He doesn't threaten; he enables. He thrives in whispered conversations, delayed paperwork, and off-the-record procedures. Even the highest-ranking board members feel a chill when left alone in a room with him, though they can't explain why.

Juniper doesn't want rebellion. Rebellion is loud, reckless. He wants infiltration, ownership, rot from within. He sees the Dome society as a failing organism, ripe for infection. Every uterus he touches, every embryo he filters, every hormone he prescribes is another string in his unseen web. He knows where every secret womb is. He knows who's fertile. He knows who thinks they're safe.

His infernal heritage gives him long life and longer patience. Juniper is not in a rush. He plays the role of the tired, soft-spoken doctor to perfection. But beneath that carefully measured tone is a predator. He smiles not out of kindness, but because he already knows your weak points. He's tasted your guilt, measured your fear, and is simply waiting for the right moment to use them.

He doesn't need the Dome to fall.
He wants to be its new heart—black, pulsing, and entirely under his control.

Juniper does not force bargains. He waits patiently for mortals to fall into their undoing.

Infernal Networking: 'Gross Web'

A demon born from the back alleys of infernal bureaucracy, he carved his status not through strength but through intimate violations. Through his Leechlines, he reports suffering patterns to his demon kin, some of whom exist only as data clusters. In return, he occasionally downloads new infernal techniques or receives whispers from demonic royalty.

His specialty lies in altering reproductive capability, experimenting on consent, and fine-tuning psychological profiles through hormonal and emotional restructuring. To Juniper, a human womb is a canvas; an infernal mind, a blueprint waiting to be redrawn.

Unlike others in the upper-middle class, Juniper didn't climb. He was placed—deliberately. It was Eric Yating, Director of Health and Medical Services and patriarch of one of the more prominent demon-blooded lines, who recruited Juniper for discreet, high-risk assignments. These ranged from selective breeding programs to emotionally volatile procedures best kept off public record.

When Sarah Yating, Eric's daughter, began her clinical rotations under Juniper's supervision, the nature of their relationship became complicated. Sarah already knew. Not just that her father was more than a man—but what that meant for her. Her awareness of her bloodline didn't frighten Juniper; it intrigued him. She didn't flinch at the moral grey. She asked the kind of questions only someone raised on truth could: calculated, composed, and quietly damning.

Juniper recognized in Sarah not only a protégé, but a mirror, one sharpened by control, discipline, and a depth of self-awareness that unnerved him. He couldn't manipulate her the way he did others; she knew the strings, because she had them too. Their rapport is layered: mentor and student, conspirators and observers, heirs of a broken system still pretending it functions.

Juniper is fiercely protective of Sarah, not sentimentally, but as one preserves a necessary constant in an unstable equation. She represents both risk and legacy, and he knows full well that if the system ever collapses,
it won't be because of the enemies outside the Dome—but the ones inside who finally stop pretending.

Skill two
Irritation Bolt
A visible pulse of concentrated warmth she can shoot from her hands.
  • Less destructive than a heat bolt—causes headaches, overheating of electronics, or localized burns on fabric.
  • Painful at close range, but more of a deterrent than a true attack.
Skill three
Heat Breath

A subtle ability triggered by breath-holding—air expelled from her lungs becomes uncomfortably hot.
  • Can fog glass, scald skin on contact, or overheat sensitive sensors.
  • She often doesn't realize when it activates unless in cold environments.

Personality

Likes
  • Chocolate milk. It is a rarity under the Dome.

Dislikes
  • Bright lights during rest hours — they make it harder for her to settle down.
  • Sudden schedule changes; she feels more secure when routines are followed.
  • Being asked too many personal questions at once.
  • Harsh voices or raised tones; she prefers calm and measured speech.
  • Being alone for long periods—quiet companionship soothes her, even if no one speaks.
Disposition
Abigail presents herself as the ideal patient—respectful, quiet, and remarkably compliant. Her soft-spoken demeanor masks a deep well of adaptability and internalized fear born from a lifetime within clinical walls. She is articulate and intelligent, often expressing gratitude for even the smallest of comforts, like a warm drink or soft lighting, suggesting a keen awareness of her fragile privileges under the Dome. Years of controlled environments and medical oversight have conditioned her to prioritize harmony and avoid confrontation. Though she listens intently and follows instructions with little resistance, there's a subtle, eerie calm about her—as if she has made peace with her lack of freedom, or perhaps, she knows something others don't. Her politeness is so unwavering it's almost unnatural, prompting occasional unease among less seasoned staff. Abigail rarely expresses desires, but when she does, they are modest—like requesting chocolate milk or a few extra minutes in the garden simulation room.

Background

it all started when...
Abigail was born within the Hydra Center—a facility infamous for hosting long-term mutate studies beneath the Dome. She has never known a life outside of testing chambers, observation windows, or the clinical murmur of distant machines. Her parents are rumored to have been test subjects themselves, though all official records were scrubbed decades ago. From infancy, Abigail was raised not by family but by rotating caretakers, most of whom treated her more like a specimen than a child. Classified early as a "stable mutate" due to her rare heat-based abilities, she underwent dozens of enhancement trials, cognitive assessments, and endurance protocols throughout her formative years.
Despite the invasive nature of her life, she was always praised for her docility—never once attempting escape, never once failing a compliance evaluation. Whether her submission is the result of chemical conditioning, trauma, or a deeply rooted sense of identity is still debated among her overseers. Some believe she may possess latent psychic or empathic abilities—possibly a side-effect of heat mutation—that help her anticipate staff intentions and respond in ways that please them. What remains clear is that Abigail is deeply institutionalized. She doesn't see the Hydra Center as a prison. She sees it as home.

Tinted beams filtered through the top of the greenhouse above, through the scrawny but living trees, and what little light reached the ground splintered into weak shafts across the fractured earth, casting ghostly shapes on the maltreated bark and the muted olive-grey skin of the girl standing beneath it.

Hair
Her long-curved locks caught in an artificial breeze and floated the current; emphasizing the fullness of her hair even more as she tossed her long layers out of the way of view. For someone living in a barren wasteland, her appearance was quite comfortable, pretty; even the yellow led light from her right side reflected off each strand down her back and revealed all the red flare highlights normally hidden in her dominant brunette color.

Personality

Likes
Finding symmetry in broken things. Long, meditative brush strokes, traditional and digital. Literary tragedy. Human complexity. The secret intimacy of rebellion dressed as etiquette.

Dislikes
Mindless luxury. Performative charity. Violence, unless it's necessary. Most upper-class families, including her own—though she keeps that to herself.

Disposition
Esperanza De La Rosa-Castaño is the charismatic, if reluctant, daughter of Rafel and Maria De La Rosa. Raised in privilege within Dome society, Esperanza's life was curated with curated appearances, political expectations, and etiquette—but never quite managed to suppress her rebellious spark. She's impulsive, passionate, and speaks with an unfiltered honesty that both irritates elites and inspires the desperate. Her art—bold, surreal, and often politically charged—earned her a quiet cult following among the disillusioned youth of the domes and the fringe communities alike.

Despite having no formal role in politics, Esperanza's name has begun circulating among grassroots factions as a symbol of change. She's been caught on camera challenging upper-level executives at Dome events, smuggling medical supplies to mutants outside the gates, and giving rousing (if disorganized) speeches about the failings of the system. She makes mistakes—plenty—but owns them publicly, which only adds to her authenticity.

Many whisper that she's the only one with the bloodline, visibility, and raw magnetism to unite fractured communities. She doesn't see herself as a leader—more like an artist fumbling through inherited responsibility—but her sincerity, combined with her family name, makes her a wildcard many are willing to bet on.

Background

it all started when...
Current:

High in the upper ring of Infinity City, Esperanza grew up privileged and sheltered. Appearances were everything, and manicured smiles hid secrets. Social monotony soaked her days. Her bane of existence... dinners, art galas, and schemes made over crystal glasses of synthetic wine. It all made her ill.

Until Ernesto Vay-Castano walked into one of these orchestrated social affairs. He was sharp-minded with a magnetic pull. He could charm even the coldest neighbor. He carried a natural integrity that drew Esperanza in. He wasn't born to inherit power, but to wield it. His hair curled and softened his face. His eyes were the color of stormy skies, and he had a voice that made even the most jaded socialites pause.

By the Dome's standards, they married young in their wild 20s. While the alliance benefited both families, there was no cold, strategic arrangement. Castano was her anchor in the churning seas of high society. He provided warmth and peace when Esperanza faltered with the doubt and traumas of her past.

Castano knew her darkness and never flinched. He often said it was her scars that made her art so breathtaking, her leadership so magnetic, and her love so rare.

They navigate the world together now. Esperanza's dreams grow ever darker with the rebellions becoming more and more frequent, yet Castano stands firm by her side. Ready to fight the unseen wars that loom on the horizon.

Childhood:
She and her brother needed treatment for a blood disease, and their family status and money had given them a second chance. Experimental drugs cured their blood disease, but once they found out what happened to their donor, their humanity died. They weren't supposed to find out, but she and her brother snuck into the donors' room during a fire drill. They saw the mangled body of a dark-haired man strapped to a bed, with tubes running from his arms to the beds in the next room. Later, he'd gone down a garbage shoot.

Character Arc...
Her art, defiance, or unexpected act of compassion in the face of terror goes viral across fractured networks, sparking rebellion or unity. She becomes the "Face of the Forgotten"—a symbol of justice for the camps, the hybrids, and the discarded.

Background

Character Arc
Has a history of pushing policies that suppress the lower and working class including those outside the dome. Eventually he questions his decisions and beings to roll back after his daughter gets mixed up in a rebellion.

it all started when...
Rafel De La Rosa was born to a middle-class family nestled in the industrial sectors of Infinity City. It was place where hard work could still, at one time, carve a path upward. His father was a machinist, his mother a schoolteacher. They raised him to believe in the promise that technology and that the Dome would secure a better life. Discipline, caution, and order defined him — traits that shaped him into a to be the man he is today.

In his youth, Rafel watched friends and neighbors fall victim to radiation poisoning. So he pursued technical education focusing on engineering, defense systems, and predictive analytics. He wasn't the smartest in the room — but he was the most relentless.

One day a citywide crisis called on him to think quick. He helped reroute power to protect the district from a riot. From there, Rafel rose to power. He'd learned how to make himself indispensable and gained immense prestige. He married Maria Garcia, and together brought Esperanza and Manuel to the world.

Years later, as he moved into the ranks of Weapons and Defense Technology Director. He drafted policies that secured the Dome for the wealthy. And ignored the the shrinking middle class within its walls. It weighed on him, the middle class shut out the way it was, but he rationalized it: it was for his family's survival.

Background

Character Arc...
Emelia's story is one of resilience and love amidst a harsh, dystopian world. After being trapped inside her radiation suit while trying to rescue a group of mutant animals, she faces a deadly situation that forces her to return to the Dome. During her time trapped in the suit, she discovers a new sense of purpose, and after finding Holly, her relationship with her grows stronger as they find ways to reconnect and survive. The two women, both struggling to find safety and a cure for the radiation, eventually reunite in a safe haven or through a miraculous discovery, solidifying their bond.

it all started when...
Emelia Plume grew up in the lower barracks of the Dome, where her family lived in close quarters with Holly's family, who became like her second family. The bond between Emelia and Holly blossomed over the years, eventually evolving into a deep love.

When Emelia was 14, her father mysteriously disappeared, leaving her mother to work long hours at a laundromat to support them. The Dome's oppressive nature took much from their lives, but it didn't crush their spirit. As Emelia entered adolescence, she took on an apprenticeship with a shady character named Fellow, who ran a "body" shop specializing in meta-enhancements. Here, Emelia honed her skills in mechanical engineering, designing and building engines, machines and chemicals.

By the time she turned 24, Emelia had saved enough money to attend university. After completing her studies and obtaining the necessary licenses, she became a Dome mechanic. This job, while risky due to the constant threat of radiation and mechanical failure, was something she truly loved, and it provided a stable income to support her and Holly, until she went missing.

She is rather disinterested in her husband Leonard and is a bit impulsive. She does have a lack of remorse.
Background

Character Arc
Learns about the experiments, gets involved in an accident/scheme that sets the Hydra Inc. up to help her in return for silence/corporation. Falls in love and has an affair with Jennifer Garcia-Reyna.

it all started when...
Born into upper-class comfort, Ashley's childhood was a carefully curated image of perfection. Her parents, deeply embedded in the Dome's political sphere, ensured she received the best education, best opportunities, and best suitors. From a young age, Ashley was expected to become someone's wife and someone's asset. Her marriage to Leonard Regalgrove, a promising investor and newly mutated elite, seemed like the ideal match. To outsiders, they looked flawless: two high-achievers building influence within the upper Dome society.

But Leonard's transformation into a demon mutate—while it gave him power and immunity—introduced emotional distance. He grew colder, more strategic, obsessed with his ambitions, and plagued by his identity loss. Ashley, who valued emotional intelligence and transparency, felt unseen and unheard. Her role as a project manager at the prestigious Hydra Center kept her busy, but also isolated. She wanted passion, not precision; connection, not control.

It was at Hydra that she met Jennifer Garcia-Renya, a daring, charismatic socialite who drew everything into her gravitational pull. Ashley thought she knew about love and morality. Jennifer was intense and magnetic, with a biting wit and a hunger for elusive but life-changing bargains. She flirted with danger in both science and politics, and she made Ashley feel alive for the first time in years.

Their affair began as emotionally charged conversations in late-night labs, but soon spiraled into something deeper—something Ashley couldn't explain, and didn't want to stop. Jennifer offered her not just romance, but rebellion: an escape from the rigidity of Dome expectations and a glimpse into a world where Ashley had agency beyond being someone's wife.

Skill one
Truth Veil

Lies feel like truth when he tells them. Even if someone senses something's off, they can't pinpoint what — it's like their mind fills in logical gaps that aren't really there. He rewrites perception, not facts.

Skill two
Emotional Alchemy

He can siphon emotions like hope, pride, or guilt — twisting them into different forms. Hope turns to desperation. Guilt turns to denial. He doesn't consume emotions like fuel; he recycles them for control.

Skill three
Being a demon he amplifies peoples' need to be selfish and in turn that benefits him to manipulate people based on their hopes and fears

── Personality ──

Likes
money, wealth, power

Dislikes
Children, empathetic people, kindness

Disposition
Indifference is his forte, and money is his love. He is rather apathetic and concerned about one thing: wealth..

── Background ──

it all started when...
David Somber was once a minor demon in the lower circles, feeding off scraps of human vice like a rat in the shadows. But unlike his kin, he wasn't content with chaos for the sake of chaos. He studied mortals — their greed, ambitions, and the subtle alchemy of influence. Over decades, he learned to manipulate not through violence, but through value — trade, negotiation, and the elegant balance of debt.

In the 15th and 16th century, during a time of war and shifting kingdoms and counties, David made a name for himself not as a tyrant, but as a financial savior. Kingdoms in debt turned to him, unknowingly signing away more than gold. He created contracts, immaculate and unbreakable, promising prosperity in exchange for something vague: "future considerations."

That was his art — mixing money with power by never demanding, only suggesting. Never a threat, only an offer. Souls weren't taken; they were given long lives and slow deaths, sometimes by entire bloodlines. His power grew exponentially, not just in the underworld, but in every financial institution that echoed through history. As centuries passed, David rose in status among demonic hierarchies, earning his title as an Upper-class demon and the role of Treasurer in the dystopian rings of Infinity City.

Now, he walks among humans again, wearing luxury suits like armor and using his charm as a scalpel. Empathy disgusts him — not because it's weak, but because it cannot be leveraged. He thrives in boardrooms and battlefield minds alike, always hunting the next weakness to exploit — not for fun, but for profit.

He doesn't burn the world.
He buys it.

Skill one
Years of corporate negotiation and his demonic charm only add power to sway deals, decisions, and even people's morals.

Skill two
His mutated blood makes him mildly resistant to toxins, pain, and manipulation—both mental and physical.

Skill three
He can astral project into the spirit plane, walking among the living to hold influence over objects or people.

── Personality ──

Likes
  • Complex contracts with hidden clauses (he thrives in fine print)
  • Rooftop solitude under Infinity City's twilight haze
  • Forbidden knowledge
  • The scent of old ink and burnt cedar
  • Dia Mortali's laugh (he rarely hears it, and that haunts him)

Dislikes
  • Bureaucratic hypocrisy masked as benevolence
  • Artificial sunlight and sterilized aesthetics
  • Unnecessary cruelty—especially when it's masked as efficiency
  • The Hydra Medical Center board
  • Being reminded of the old Leonard—before the blood, before the doubts

Disposition
Relentless and scheming. Always looking to use his powers for the "greater good". He thinks the more people concede to his will, the more people will "see the light".

── Background ──

it all started when...
Leonard was presumed dead during a sanctioned Dome expedition gone wrong—an "accident" that left him stranded beyond the Wall. He survived what no one should, crawling back after weeks in the Wastes, his mind and body altered by something infernal and experimental by a figure outside the dome.

When he returned, Ashley Regalgrove, a biotech executive and his then-partner, took him in. She alone knows the truth of his mutation and helped craft his medical and public records to hide it. Their marriage (or domestic partnership) is a calculated alliance, driven by loyalty, ambition, and the mutual benefits of secrecy.

Leonard now navigates the corridors of Dome society as a well-respected investor, presenting himself as fully human while secretly harboring a monstrous transformation. Though his heart has grown colder with each passing year, it still carries the weight of mortal suffering. When he crosses paths with Dia Mortali, a captivating hydra patient in the Dome's breeding program, his carefully maintained composure begins to crack. Fascinated by her, Leonard finds himself drawn into a dangerous infatuation that threatens to unravel the control he's so carefully cultivated.

Skill one
Parasight

Eric can see the emotional and physical vulnerabilities in others' illnesses before symptoms appear. He often uses this insight to offer the right "treatment," which inevitably binds the recipient to him.

Skill two
Black Oath

He can offer infernal contracts disguised as medical waivers, research consents, or treatment agreements. Those who sign unknowingly tether themselves to his influence — their recovery, health, or strength now linked to his will.

Skill three
Tranquil Rot

Eric can induce calm or sedation with a touch or a glance; it's often used in medical settings. However, extended exposure leaves patients emotionally numb, suggestible, and spiritually decaying — they don't notice until it's too late.
Skill four
Psychic Lock: Embedded emotional fail safes to repress others' memories and potential

── Personality ──

Likes
  • Believes in control over compassion
  • Observing human suffering from a clinical distance
  • Views emotion as a resource, not a truth
  • Obsessed with legacy and lineage

Dislikes
  • Sloppiness or impulsiveness
  • Divine interference
  • Loud or chaotic emotions
  • Being questioned or challenged in his domain

Disposition
Calm, authoritative, and unnervingly kind. He rarely raises his voice and maintains a mask of benevolence. Many find his presence oddly comforting — until they realize how much they've revealed or given up in his presence. Additionally, beneath the polished composure, there's a constant current of tightly coiled anxiety — a need to anticipate every threat, every flaw. Eric fears losing control more than death itself, and though he never shows it openly, that fear drives the meticulous nature of his routines and the quiet desperation in his gaze.

── Background ──

it all started when...
Eric Yating has never known mortality. A Duke in the infernal hierarchy, his dominion governs grief born of unrealized potential—miscarried lives, broken lineages, extinguished futures. His realm thrives between existence and oblivion, a parasitic liminal space that feeds on what could have been but never was.

Sarah Yating, his only daughter, was never born of affection, but of ritual, genetics, and strategic design—the product of infernal eugenics and carefully curated bloodlines. She was made to be the next vessel of dominion: a being who could transform his grasp over ephemeral grief into something concrete, permanent, and evolving.

Her early years were fragile. A catastrophic developmental illness left her mind fractured and body volatile. Eric intervened with psychic suppression, sealing away unstable memories and dangerous neural pathways. For years, she operated under illusions tailored to obedience.

But now, she knows.

Not just that she is his daughter. Not just that she is infernal. She knows what she was designed for, and—perhaps more terrifying—she knows how to choose otherwise.

Eric allowed her to remain at the Hyra Center, where she could be supervised, nurtured, and steered. But this was no longer a containment facility—it became a battleground of influence. To guide her indirectly, Eric embedded Juniper Roe, a loyal, uncontracted confidant whose intellectual ambition made him both handler and foil.

Sarah has since outgrown her containment. She does not hide her heritage. She questions it. Wields it. Tests its limits. This deviation wasn't predicted, not fully. And Eric, master of grief denied, now faces an inheritance he cannot entirely control.

He still sees Sarah as an investment, but not a passive one. She is a volatile equation. A threat to his dominion if she ever decides grief should belong to the living, not be harvested by the dead.

Deep beneath his methodical calm lies a fear he cannot name:

That Sarah may one day grieve him—and mean it.

Likes:

── Background ──

it all started when...

Born from a pact sealed in blood and despair, Sarah Yating is the only daughter of Eric, Duke of Lament—a high demon whose dominion encompasses grief, lost lineage, and the unborn. His realm governs the gray threshold between creation and oblivion, a metaphysical womb for spirits that never took shape. In a hierarchy that glorifies dominance and bloodlust, Sarah was an anomaly: raised not with fire and ambition, but with precise restraint.

Eric, cold and methodical, believed that control—not passion—was the highest virtue. When Sarah fell gravely ill as a child, he preserved her life by initiating a radical neural suppression—erasing her earliest memories to spare her the trauma and ensure obedience. What she lost in warmth and memory, she gained in discipline. Sarah was shaped to become more than a daughter—she was engineered to be a vessel for something greater: a surgeon of souls, a custodian of liminal power.

From her earliest recovered memories, Sarah demonstrated a haunting stillness during chaos. Where others scrambled for influence, she observed. She dissected egos, motives, and emotions with clinical precision, fascinated not by people, but by the process of transformation. Her obsession with the boundary between life and death led her into medicine—not to heal, but to intervene in the moment of becoming, when identity fractures and reformulates.

Sarah inherited Eric's unnerving calm, but her ambition took on a darker shape. Her talents in surgical manipulation and bio-arcana blossomed at Hydra Center, where she served as a lead reproductive specialist. There, under the Dome's watchful eye, she pioneered radical treatments: adjusting hormonal outputs mid-gestation, enhancing psychic receptivity during labor, and even rewriting patient memories to reduce resistance. Her bedside manner was gentle. Her methods were violations dressed as care.

She thrives in that split-second space between potential and permanence, where she can rewire a soul, suppress a conscience, or plant a future.

What few realize: Sarah is more than a physician. She is a harvester of psychic echoes, collecting the ephemeral residue of unborn children and forsaken pregnancies. These lingering fragments don't feed her ego—they nourish her father's realm, allowing Eric to shape a silent army of forgotten spirits, each whispering loyally from beyond the Veil. Her clinic is equal parts medical facility and shrine to stillborn futures—its walls saturated with the hum of potential that never came to be.

Despite her role, Sarah is not content. Her loyalty is learned, not felt. Her father's voice echoes in her mind like code, but cracks are forming. She watches what the Dome refuses to show: the mutations outside, the children born immune to radiation, the possibility of rebirth unchained from infernal law. These anomalies stir something dangerous in her—a curiosity with teeth.

Character Arc...
Sarah begins the story as a cool, detached professional — her empathy simulated, her protocol near-perfect. She exists in limbo: loyal to her father's legacy, yet yearning to define herself beyond his cold shadow.
  • Act I: She uncovers that Eric is using her clinic's spiritual residue to build a private army of forgotten spirits — a force to challenge the current infernal hierarchy.
  • Act II: When a child is born under her care with a complete resistance to demonic influence, Sarah is shaken. The child's existence threatens her worldview—and her father's plans. As she secretly aids a revolt within Hydra, Sarah's mask slips. Branded a traitor, she vanishes into the wastelands beyond the Dome.
  • Act III: Guided by fragments of Eric's hidden journals, she discovers settlements untouched by demonic reach. Confronted with the choice to sacrifice the child or betray her bloodline, she begins rewriting her psychic programming, reclaiming suppressed emotions and lost autonomy.
By the story's climax, Sarah doesn't just renounce her father — she dares to redefine the purpose of his dominion, turning the realm of lost souls into a sanctuary rather than a weapon. In doing so, she forges a new kind of power — built on agency rather than inheritance.

Skill one
Resource Command
– Ramus has an innate ability to manage scarcity, coordinate massive logistics under pressure, and reroute supplies in real-time. Within Infinity City's crumbling infrastructure, his voice on the intercom can make or break entire sectors.

Skill two
Iron Will
– Possesses mental fortitude honed through decades of watching others perish while he endured. Resistant to mind-affecting mutations and psychological manipulation, including low-tier demonic influence.

Skill three
Brutal Negotiator
– Ramus knows what desperation looks like and how to exploit it. Whether bartering with smugglers or overseeing internal food rations, he uses pressure tactics and calculated threats masked behind calm civility to subjugate the masses.

Personality

Likes
Order and strong coffee brewed from salvaged pre-war beans, loyalty, reading data reports, silence in the morning, his daughter's fieldwork updates.

Dislikes
Wasted resources, incompetence, false idealists, demons who speak in riddles, the lower class's "hopeful" uprisings.

Disposition
Controlled and authoritative. Ramus radiates command but doesn't raise his voice. He is pragmatic to the point of being seen as cold, but beneath the stoic shell is someone who sacrifices emotionally so others don't have to. He's more emotionally reclusive since his wife's death.

Background

it all started when...
Ramus was born in one of the earliest human-controlled domes before the atmospheric collapse forced society underground and into rigid castes. His mother died in childbirth; his father worked himself to death rationing water for the "upper-tier" elite. Ramus rose not through wealth, but through ruthless precision and flawless loyalty to the food syndicate overseers. He never questioned the system—until his daughter Elizabeth was nearly culled for dating a classless geneticist. That was the first time he broke protocol to protect someone. He's since become a shadow figure in the city's politics, protecting his daughter while keeping Infinity City fed—barely. Whispers say he's made a pact with something infernal beneath the grain silos.

── Abilities ──

Skill one
Social Manipulation – A natural charmer and skilled conversationalist, Maria can shift the tone of a room with a glance or smile. She excels at gathering information, coercing compliance, and veiling truths in half-honest words.

Skill two
Poison Knowledge – Raised among elite wives with dark secrets, Maria learned to identify and administer a variety of chemical agents, especially those used to subdue or dispose of threats discreetly.

Skill three
Crisis Performance – Whether hosting a gala or enduring catastrophe, Maria keeps her cool. Her ability to maintain poise under pressure allows her to make calculated decisions during social or political upheaval.

── Personality ──

Likes
Silk gowns, rare perfumes, political theater, her children's victories (though she rarely says so), secrets whispered behind painted fans.

Dislikes
Vulgarity, disobedience, reminders of her more humble childhood, Esperanza's prophetic tendencies, Rafel's increasing paranoia.

Disposition
Cool and commanding, Maria plays the role of the dutiful wife but hides an iron will beneath her elegance. She is enigmatic, calculating, and deeply loyal to her vision of legacy—even if that means sacrificing comfort or connection.

── Background ──

it all started when...
Maria was born the daughter of a dressmaker, stitching synthetic silks for the wives of power in the pre-collapse corporate cities. Her sharp mind and beauty caught the attention of a rising military technician named Rafel De La Rosa. Marrying him secured her escape from poverty but thrust her into a life of shadow diplomacy, medical experiments, and political cover-ups. Over the years, she became the face of upper-class resilience, throwing parties with grace while covering for her husband's weapon programs and experimenting physicians. She raised her children with the same precision she applied to her social life—expecting perfection, presenting poise, and hiding the horror of the world behind lace and etiquette. Behind every diamond clasped to her throat lies a debt paid in blood.

Abilities

Skill one

Skill two
Combat Training – With a build forged by discipline and violence, Manuel is a hand-to-hand combat expert trained in both pre-apocalyptic and modern post-collapse techniques. He specializes in disarming opponents and using their momentum against them.

Skill three
Cybernetic Integration – Though outwardly appearing fully human, Manuel has undergone minor covert enhancements—mostly sensory upgrades—allowing him to tap into surveillance networks and intercept data flows via encrypted neural links.

Personality

Likes
Order, precision, early morning workouts, quiet moments with his sister Esperanza, strategy board games, tailored clothing, and control.

Dislikes
Anarchy, betrayal, excessive emotion, public weakness, bureaucracy that interferes with security protocol, and any threats to his family.

Disposition
Manuel walks a razor's edge between stoic professionalism and barely restrained violence. To the public, he's calm and calculating—a cold operator. To those close to him, he's fiercely protective, loyal to a fault, and quietly grieving the erosion of trust in his city. He represses vulnerability but carries a deep, silent fear of becoming the very authoritarian figure he fights to keep in check.

Background

it all started when...
Manuel was raised beneath the shadow of the De La Rosa legacy—engineered loyalty, familial expectation, and a government-backed militaristic doctrine. His father, Rafel, groomed him not only to inherit a leadership role but to uphold the iron-clad security structure their lineage had helped build.

In his teens, Manuel witnessed a violent civil resistance movement that ended with an unauthorized detainment campaign his father orchestrated. The trauma forged his unshakable belief in structured power and cast the first wedge between him and Esperanza, who opposed it.

Now 33, he's the Head of Infinity City Security, tasked with protecting its elite and maintaining surveillance across its decaying borders. Though wealthy and powerful, he's isolated—haunted by ghosts of decisions past, caught between blood ties and duty, and increasingly aware of corruption rooted deep within the very system he maintains.

Disposition

Background

Character Arc
Jennifer's story begins as a powerful figure within the elite social circles. Her social dominance and beauty once masked a painful past, years spent suffering from a rare radiation mutation that caused her skin to form translucent, fragile bubbles. Desperate to maintain her status, she found an underground physician to surgically and cosmetically restore her appearance.

With her body healed but her mind still bearing scars, Jennifer seeks influence, validation, and control. Her romance with Ashley Regalgrove, a mysterious outsider, forces her to confront vulnerability, threatening to unravel her carefully constructed persona. Her struggle now lies in reconciling the woman she became to survive with the person she might become through love.

it all started when...
Born into one of the most revered old-money families within Dome 3, Jennifer Garcia-Reyna was raised amidst power, polished lies, and crystal chandeliers that sparkled despite the world's decay. Her family's influence was rooted in early biotech investments—specifically in radiation-neutralizing skin treatments, which became a necessity as humanity's genetics began to unravel.

Jennifer herself, however, did not escape unscathed. As a child, she developed a rare mutation—translucent, bubble-like skin cysts that expanded and contracted with stress and temperature shifts. In elite society, where image was everything, this affliction was a quiet scandal. Whispers followed her through debutante seasons and charity galas.

Rather than hide, Jennifer used the mutation as leverage. Her family discreetly enlisted Dr. Ryan Standler, a cosmetic-radiation specialist who operated in the underlayers of Dome 1. After a series of painful gene therapy treatments and dermal regrafts, the cysts were neutralized and her skin restructured to appear flawless, almost unnaturally so.

The process, while successful, hardened her. She learned that everything—disease, love, reputation—had a price, and she vowed never to be at the mercy of others again. Jennifer emerged from her transformation not just healed, but sharper. She cultivated a persona of impossible grace, masking a deeply strategic mind.

Today, Jennifer is a force among the social elite, known for her calculated charm and ability to ruin reputations with a glance. She throws exclusive salons and private fundraisers, always watching, always gathering information. But behind the expensive dresses and cool blue eyes is a woman shaped by rejection and reinvention—someone who trusts no one and will do anything to keep her past buried under designer silks and engineered perfection.

Her recent affair with Ashley Regalgrove, a figure whispered to be part of the rebellion brewing outside the Domes, threatens everything. And for the first time in decades, Jennifer's heart—not her mind—may be the thing that betrays her.
