Hello,

I am charcoalmatter, it is very much a relief to find this forum. Been in search for a warm and accepting place, full of mature and intellectual writers who enjoy text roleplay just as much as I do! Currently in the process of finishing my character sheet, formatting it correctly for these threads and forums.

About me, I am going on twenty-four years of age. My real life occupation is that I'm a Hollywood actor and a Bartender, been roleplaying in this style since I was ten years old. So safe to say, this is definitely a big part of my life haha!

Myself identifying as a novelist, I'm comfortable with more mature and adult themes. (War, romance, politics, etc.) Dark Medieval Fantasy is my go-to genre, and I have the perfect character who I've had for almost four years; very developed, but still lots more to do.

He'll be a very interesting addition to the stories here, that I can assure everyone. Almost wanted to put "warrior" as the prefix, but he's evolved into a "lord" but just one without titles. Summary is he's a warlord of a small army, has became a very skilled tactician to the point he doesn't lose the battles he leads (anymore lmao) and that positions him as someone powerful politically: "I have the manpower, respect me or I will use it against you."

As far as other things... I like keeping things calm and there not being so much pressure (aka toxicity), however, I trust this is the right place for me.

Anyways that's all and can't wait to play,

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there!

However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! If you were looking for an open story you can just jump in straight away, you can find them in Unfinished Tales!​


Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then! But, these are some of my favorites! The first shout out goes to The Sanctum Tavern! Here you can find many a thing!
